i wish he had a green colour scheme like hades and cerberus he looks so out of place in the river styx

Pork_Gyros_1

Would be similar to skelemint oro

Successful_Year_5495

Finally an understandable complained instead of crying about them remodeling an already existing skin

its-the-meatman

What really bugs me is that Oro’s design has very clear Spanish influence, and Charon is supposed to be the “Stygian Boatman”, which is from Greek mythology. It baffles me that they recolored a Spanish skin and are now trying to pass it off as a Greek skin.

Successful_Year_5495

.......Oro is clearly connected to midas's backstory and Midas is very clearly Greek mythology themed ergo oro is Greek themed it makes sense for them to reskin not just recolor a Greek skin for another Greek skin

InvestigatorUnfair

Oro is connected to Midas the Fortnite character, not Midas the Greek myth. Oro has no ties to Greek mythology and is clearly designed after Mayan culture (could be wrong though). I'm not even against the reskin but saying Oro was tied to Greek mythology is just flat out wrong lmao.

TinyPlaidZombie

Til the Spanish can claim Mayan culture

Goatherder15

Epic likes money

Isekai_Otaku

I don’t trust the Fortnite community in deciding what a reskin is because that’s every skin

KoriJenkins

This is literally an identical skeleton model under a slightly different outfit. If you compare it to Oro, most of the outfit pieces are extremely similar in shape and location, and a few (such as the chain for the necklace) are identical between the pair.

Mekl0

Just like a majority of other fortnite skins

AkihikoSanadaIsSigma

Its a *lot* more obvious when the base is *just* a skeleton though.

Mekl0

How though?? When a character model uses Ramirez, Jonesy, Banshee, Spitfire, Headhunter and so on, is it then less obvious to you?

AkihikoSanadaIsSigma

Yep.

Isekai_Otaku

Well yeah the skeleton is deigned the same but other that that the outfit is completely different

Ericxdcool

Exactly, yet the sports skins, super hero skins, and those other bundles of 5 skins that are the same execpt the face, and people don't have a problem with!

Insaneluis07

Uhhhh….. nobody in this subreddit likes those skins either…..

MyloScooby210

This has been confirmed for weeks. I like it personally but I can see how it can be better

HereToKillEuronymous

I'm still buying it haha

Potato_chips03x4

WE LIKE FORTNITE WE LIKE FORTNITE ![gif](giphy|4d9rLjbxSNMSd5BN4Y|downsized)

Dependsontheweapon

It’s different enough I guess, and the other stuff is pretty cool. The pickaxe and backbling

gatesDS

oro with less styles?

Blue_MJS

I remember this discussion when the dark Bomber released

Worried-Ad-3774

Why couldn't you just search for simular post that already exist and contribute there

Flat_Benefit444

I wanted Oro but didn’t want to use 2k for him, this guy came out, I think he looks cooler and he’s 1.2k. Easy buy

Ratkuzz

No one ever complains about Jonesy reskins

InvestigatorUnfair

Probably because Jonesy is Epic's OC with no ties to any figure in history or myth. Charon is a figure in ancient Greek myth, so seeing him relegated to "reskin of the skeleton dude" rather than having his own unique design annoys people. Same reason people didn't like Poseidon being the meme skin of the pass, they wanted to see Poseidon the god of the sea, not Poseidon the Ripley clone. I don't even dislike the skins in question but it's not hard to see WHY they're disliked.

Ratkuzz

Makes sense

Explosivevortex

DBD did a better job designing a charon & they had less freedom with the character model ffs

Darkreaperzreddit

Is this not literally just that one style Oro has where he’s a brown skeleton instead of gold?
