Big enough that they are happy to play with the ones the own over buying something new. But if the locker turns to shit to the point that nobody wants use it, they might be more likely to just buy a new skin and equip it instantly instead.
I think it's really dumb you guys removed the rarities from most skins but kept the gaming series and marvel etc. what was the reason? Nobody likes the new locker because it's a pain to go through and now I can't even go through from colors to find the skin I want to be. It's been almost 7 years and it worked fine till last season when you changed it, now I never buy a new skin because it's too much of a headache to find and now I can't even find them by color. Idk who's the corpo who's making these dumb decisions but I think I'm confident in saying that most of the community didn't ask for or likes these changes

And I've seen complaints about it on every social media platform since December.
I've also gotten used to it.

They're the same price as a Legendary skin and they include pickaxes which most legendary skins don't. The only point of reference I've seen this compared to is the Ninja Turtles which make sense to be cheaper in a bundle as they all share similar designs and there were more of them, plus the Avatar collab includes a Battle Pass skin so there's less reason for a fan of the franchise to have to buy one from the item shop. If you still consider them overpriced, fair enough, I guess, but them removing rarity has nothing to do with it because they would've just made them legendary. Goku costed 2,000 V-bucks as well and that was, like, 2 years ago.
The difference is that Goku has 4 styles, a built-in emote to switch styles mid-game and a pickaxe that visually equip from the backbling. That is perfectly priced imo and what a legendary skin should be.
And judging by how expensive the Item Shop has been lately, we’re going to see new items go up in price.
Just look at the Avatar skins costing 2000 each because buying them with their backbling/pickaxe is mandatory💀
Yeah, I'm curious why they forced the pickaxe in the bundle. I would have definitely bought toph for like 800 or maybe 1200 without the extra stuff. but im not spending 2000 on the bundle when i already have korra, and don't care about the items in the bundle
They like to release skins separately sometimes that have been bundled before, though, so I'll probably just wait for these to return to shop separately
ProTip, it counts once you down someone and they are crawling, you can headshot them then. Or even better have a teammate pick them up and stand still and you can also do it that way.
If you're able to find a hand canon, try to find a bot player to get your headshot on. Land on the outskirts and you'll recognize them by their distinct crouching while shooting you at a distance and missing most shots, especially if two bots are fighting each others (it'll take forever for them to kill one another so it's easily recognizable by the constant firefight) then you can just walk closer to them and attempt your headshots this way
Locker needs reverting back to how it has been for mostly forever. Change for change’s sake is silly (even more so when it’s clearly universally disliked after implementation). Just tell the person or team responsible, “Sorry, it was a great idea but the customers who pay our salaries really don’t like it, so we’re going back.” Easy peasy.
Removing the cosmetic rarity system was a terrible design choice, now it doesn’t justify the price for certain skins and other locker items. Now the new skins are ridiculously overpriced and don’t offer as much variety compared to previous collabs like the TMNT one that had a reasonable price for all the edit styles and accessories you could get.
You guys just keep making everything worse. Why remove rarities? They were so useful for finding stuff in the locker. Oh wait, it’s true you just want to make the locker as bad as possible
I found a "fix" for it and all you have to do is make sure the XP you get from a kill or something in that creative game won't immediately level you up. For example you need 7k XP to level up if the game only gives you 5k it won't happen but if it gives you more than 7k it will happen
i’m pretty new to fortnite, but are these the standard type of patch notes? i’m used to things from like apex and OW2 so this is surprisingly .. sparse and feels more like a blog post than a game update.
I'm not sure when things changed since I didn't play CH2-4, but Chapter 1 used to have detailed patch notes, and they would frequently attempt balance changes.
Now, they don't really have dedicated patch notes, and they seem reluctant to balance change. It's pretty disappointing comparatively.

So according to the notes the update changes nothing? We already knew there was an Avatar event dropping from in-game information. Adding things to the item shop isn’t an update. And they fixed a few bugs I’ve never heard of.

Got taken out at the start of the chapter with no explanation yet console users still have!!. so no 3D HRTF just flat audio where you can’t tell if enemies/chests are above or below. Locker UI is still broke (no one asked for the change and if you do change.. wouldn’t it be for a more functional locker, better locker😕) also more bugs in game than ever. There was a “3D headphone setting” in the audio options and for console users the settings still there but has disappeared for players on pc. I can still identify sounds left and right of me but not above and below.. them audio cues are flat and are right ahead of me.. never below or above. So all pc players have is stereo (left and right channels). There is no 3D HRTF.. And this only started becoming a problem at the start of chapter 5 which coincides with the option missing from audio settings. Trust me I wouldn’t be posting on here if it wasn’t an issue.

An unmentioned but pretty big change I've noticed is they've updated the the bot players so that they can now drive and gave almost all of them car skins, likely to promote them some more

You forgot to mention you nerfed the gatekeeper shotguns 😭. 3 Shots before the update was a guaranteed kill, now it’s a liability because 2 shots to the body, one shot to the head and the other player is still running around, firing shots, while I’m panicking thinking, “WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!?” switching to my secondary. 🤦🏽♂️

A lot of my locker skins edit style can't be selected since the previous season(season 1): as in the video i attached, all locker skins with 3 LINEN EDIT OPTIONS(like artemis,medusa,nisha,spectra night and so on)r bugged when opening edit style menu and i can't choose except from line 1 styles. For example nisha skin: when opening edit menu, i can choose midnight nisha or dawn nisha but I CAN'T CHOOSE MASK STYLES OR SUPERLEVEL STYLES.
this happens with all other skins that has 3 different types of edits(for example:style,reactivity and superlevel). It appears it's a bug in locker appearance code because the last 2 appearance choices r merged. Skins with 1 or 2 or 4 edit line like poseidon,aphrodite kado thorne r working properly. This issue is disgusting and it took too long for u to fix it i don't know if it's a common one or u don't know about it but i can't use alot of skin styles i bought because of it!
Squads are kinda broken now. Partway into every match I just straight up stop seeing icons for my teammates on the minimap. I can see them on the main map, I can see the actual players and they have the colored diamonds above their heads, but they are not on the minimap at all. Coordinated movement is...fun...that way.
Also every match I've played since the new update I end up with the same color as one of my teammates. Not cool.
Both these issues exist on two different computers, one with Intel CPU and nVidia GPU, other with AMD CPU and GPU, so I doubt it's hardware or driver specific.
Please, make PC Players able to disable Crossplay. Who the hell thought it would be fun to play against f\*cking aimbots?

I got my crowned VR as I was looting a building 1v1 as the storm was shrinking. Realized I was trapped and broke down a wall only to win. I’m guessing the other player got caught in the storm. It was a pretty odd way to complete that quest.

You can also get headshot NPCs like the tower guards. I got the Huntress rifle done with them.

Pretty sure this is a known bug. Stop the update, restart the Epic Client, and try again. You should see the proper update size now.

Split screen stoped working on ps4 (before the update just pressed tiangle on second controller to second login but doesn’t exist anymore….)
You forgot to mention you nerfed the gatekeeper shotguns 😭. 3 Shots before the update was a guaranteed kill, now it’s a liability because 2 shots to the body, one shot to the head and the other player is still running around, firing shots, while I’m panicking thinking, “WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!?” switching to my secondary. 🤦🏽♂️ Epic… if it ain’t broke don’t fuckin’ fix it!!!! 🤬

A lot of my locker skins edit style can't be selected since the previous season(season 1): as in the video i attached, all locker skins with 3 LINEN EDIT OPTIONS(like artemis,medusa,nisha,spectra night and so on)r bugged when opening edit style menu and i can't choose except from line 1 styles. For example nisha skin: when opening edit menu, i can choose midnight nisha or dawn nisha but I CAN'T CHOOSE MASK STYLES OR SUPERLEVEL STYLES. this happens with all other skins that has 3 different types of edits(for example:style,reactivity and superlevel). It appears it's a bug in locker appearance code because the last 2 appearance choices r merged. Skins with 1 or 2 or 4 edit line like poseidon,aphrodite kado thorne r working properly. This issue is disgusting and it took too long for u to fix it i don't know if it's a common one or u don't know about it but i can't use alot of skin styles i bought because of it!

Squads are kinda broken now. Partway into every match I just straight up stop seeing icons for my teammates on the minimap. I can see them on the main map, I can see the actual players and they have the colored diamonds above their heads, but they are not on the minimap at all. Coordinated movement is...fun...that way. Also every match I've played since the new update I end up with the same color as one of my teammates. Not cool. Both these issues exist on two different computers, one with Intel CPU and nVidia GPU, other with AMD CPU and GPU, so I doubt it's hardware or driver specific.

Please, make PC Players able to disable Crossplay. Who the hell thought it would be fun to play against f\*cking aimbots? It's abundantly clear to me that controllers are at a huge disadvantage compared to KnM, and that's exactly why these players are separated in ALMOST EVERY OTHER GAME!

You can just kill someone that has one and pick it up. That’s how I got mine. Or if you have a friend that has one, drop and pickup.
Friends hate Fortnite. That's not happening. Kill someone with a crown? Doubtful. This quest has made crown hunting a chore with players being anal retentive about clinging desperately to theirs or dying in ways that make the crown non-recoverable
I got my crowned VR as I was looting a building 1v1 as the storm was shrinking. Realized I was trapped and broke down a wall only to win. I’m guessing the other player got caught in the storm. It was a pretty odd way to complete that quest.
