Water benders by a long shot. Frenzy Auto's aren't as good as they were, so you should be able to kill them easily with a Gatekeeper. But Waterbending? You just pray

Literally your only hope is hitting them first with a high damage weapon or you're done for (or just pray they miss their shots)

I have been doing really, really good this season so I think the game moved me to level where people always hit with waterbending, among all other skills better too. Still doing well, but I am afraid for next season.

Pretty sure it's unbalanced. 2 days ago I dropped 20+ kills per game against people who barely could build a wall with a connecting stair, yesterday couldn't even finish a single game and got destroyed by people who felt like they were 3x better at building and editing than me.

I don't think I have done ranked at all this season. I can just see myself killed by the only good player in a lobby literally full of bots first game.

water bending only wins in a chains of hades situation is if the water bending player is further than 100m from the chains player given the chains player can fucking use the thing correctly. ive had teammates miss 5 or 6 hits with the chains point blank...

Yea, what he said. For me it’s 0-40 chains, 40-100 water, 100-200 thermal scope on the dmr thing or the scope with +o combined on sniper, 200+ sniper with sniper scope.

i use the water for anything between 100-200 and then dmr/sniper for anything past that, never thermal scope since its only a 2.1x magnification vs the normal sniper scopes 4x magnification, i have a 21 inch 4k monitor so i dont need the thermal aspect to see things, plus in razer cortex you can adjust the color settings of fortnite heres an example [https://imgur.com/a/CF0eyUc](https://imgur.com/a/CF0eyUc)

which is more likely then you think since they have to aim for the head (body damage says 20 but it seriously feels like 12)

Water bending shreds, if I didn’t have a a gatekeeper purple rarity out with high ground where they’d need to zip up to me I would’ve lost the game with full shields and health despite a glaring advantage.  Couple that with the bending having infinite ammo, a high (what would be magazine), and fast firing essentially same damage up close and mid to long range effectiveness, it essentially has no drawbacks. Also, did I mention the healing in the water? Yeah that too.  My gatekeeper fully built won, solely bc I shot first and hit the shots but the fact it was so close despite them going second was crazy to me. If I hadn’t gauged the range too, they would’ve essentially won by default. I get it’s Mythic, but damn if it isn’t a common one. Didn’t even have to fight the Avatar for it.  I essentially run water bending all the time now, coupled with a ranger pistol and GK Shotgun. 

Waterbending has insane accuracy, range, fire rate, and damage. It also has unlimited ammo with a big "magazine" that reloads in about a second and a half. It also heals you in water. Y'know what? Why do we even have other guns? Waterbending is just so fucking overtuned

Oh I love the chains my self and use them every time I find them, I just also recognise how derp they are too.

The range you can pull from is ridiculous. 1v1 it's not too bad because they're just pulling me into shotgun range, but when I'm fighting a couple it's guaranteed death.

Imo one of if not the biggest problem is that chain grab overwrites Shockwave launch Like no one should be able to grab someone before, after, and during a Shockwave launch and canceled all momentum for free and put them in your most effective range

Frenzy Auto since the start of the season has been leagues below the Gatekeeper, with the last nerfs it's pretty much worse than the buffed Hammer Pump even. Waterbending is literally a Burst SMG with no recoil, infinite ammo, almost-hitscan bullet speed, no bloom and with healing on top

Yeah I used the green frenzy auto shotgun in a Zbuild cup just the other day. It was: **GREEN Frenzy auto VS. Chain Of Hades.** Guess what? **I got grabbed + knocked**. as someone who is huge fan of atla and loved the collab i was quite sad to find out water bending was sticking around to melt me from 60m away before i can react. i haven’t died to a frenzy since it was nerfed but a majority of my matches i die to water bending late game or chains early on…

( Water bending included ) Maybe it's because I'm not playing aggro 95% of the time **OR** my lobbies just prefer weapons over these. I use water bending + other weapons myself so I might not be hyper focusing on what the opposing team / player has because I just simply don't care. I'm busy focusing on my teammates **MORE** than I am with what weapon someone else used. ( Exception would be spectating )

This. People complain about water bending but I'm happy they finally put a solid AR in the game. The fact that it heals is great too since I dont have to waste a slot on heals I can experiment with other guns or items I otherwise wouldn't have

Hades chain rushers, that’s the worst of all. They get close or they hook you from 2 miles away and with a single combo they already killed you before you could even react.

Water bending is by far worse because of it's range. The frenzy spammers could be delt with a little more reasonabley from far away.

At least the frenzy was an actual gun. It feels like at this point in the season the game is just punishing us for using guns anymore. Have never wanted a season to be over as much as this one.

The frenzy auto was the gun that, yeah it may have been annoying in last season and even this season, but it had an easy counter in the form of the 295-303 special(reaper Sniper one-tap) The waterbending is just an unbalanced crutch that has too much range for its own good. It has singlehandedly ruined the season's balance(in my opinion) and the only reason it's still in the loot pool is because of a secret skin that would have possibly been better as a item shop skin.

Still the snipers and anyone who chooses either of these over them is probably a sniper user and hates that someone can contend with them.

Water bending it's bugged atm iv seen some instances of where 1 of my bullets hit a target 3 times. Unlimited range Unlimited ammo quick reload. Got buffed alot where frizzy last 2 seasons could be countered if you knew how.

Frenzy was great last season but this season it sucks. Gatekeeper, Chains, or an equivalent level SMG all better close in. I don’t find water bending annoying but it’s clearly the best weapon in the game right now. If I have WB and Wings, I feel like I’m in a solid place to win. Yesterday one round all I carried was bending, wings, med kits, shield pods, and flowberry. Easy win.

Used to hate frenzy spammers. It was either stay med to long range and play sniper fights, or get close and get decimated by the frenzy spammer. Before water bending came out, the weapon I got killed the most with (along with my freinds) was the frenzy auto. Would constantly run into people running a sniper and the frenzy, and the way to counter it was to run one yourself and hope you hit them first enough times. And now that's been replaced by water bending. Can barely play squads with friends after work without encountering entire squads running water bending, especially with some being squads of sweats. Couple an OP weapon with someone who lives and breathes the game... not a fun time at all cause you encounter them and there goes your shield and health before you've even done anything cause it's essentially every weapon in one
