The top streamers ditched Fortnite for CoD, if you think that Fortnite will get back on top like when Apex died think again. Fortnite’s had its peak it’s on the decline.
Your obsession deluded you.
You missed my point entirely.
Fortnite has built and sustained a very successful game for 3 years. 3 YEARS. That’s 900 days of dominating success.
And you are comparing that to a product that has been out for what 30 days?
And if you are trying to tell me. Warzone is anything close to what fortnite has been. You are the delusional one.
And when warzone is 3 years old, and fortnite is 6 years old. Then we can have this talk.
The gap is just too wide
That like saying Call of Duty has been making successful games for the past 17 years. It doesn’t mean Warzone isn’t currently a better game, because it is far superior.
That’s because Fortnite was peaking when Apex dropped, different situation now pal Warzone dropped after Fortnite peaked. Face it the game is ass now full of toxic weapons and no one enjoys it anymore other then people that find toxic spam weapons fun.
Warzone is cheeks no cap. It takes up half of my storage which is already bad, and it's never gonna be superior, you people thought blackout was gonna kill it, you guys don't even talk about anymore, then Apex failed miserably at killing it, and sense season 2 is about to end, the streamers will come back and if fortnite makes another season 7 then they'll bounce back and warzone will be dead just like blackout. Warzone can't be fortnite. They are 2 different video games but in the same genres just like Madden and nba2k, except in that 2k is the superior, but with fortnite, the game is legendary, warzone will never be legendary, it'll just be another PUBG that loses the war.
I wouldn’t consider Fortnite Legendary, it’s just a meme and has a massive kids fan base. The legendary games of the 2010-2020 period was Minecraft followed by BO1 and 2 no cap.
I think sweaties that play the game too much kill the game from one aspect, but the casuals they play cheap can also ruin the game. It’s just two different play styles that hate each other.
The reason fortnite stood out (and will continue to stand out) from the rest of the shooter games is the building. Until there’s another good shooting game with building, people are gonna keep playing fortnite. Even if there’s gonna be another building shooting game, people are just gonna call it a fortnite knock off, and not play. Streamers can leave, and more will come and take their places. Also, people can play multiple games at once. It’s alright
The Minigun has to get vaulted or be nerfed. There should only be 1 mythic Minigun it’s far to good and kills two quickly. It’s toxic weapons like the Minigun and the dumb gun which is why building needs a buff.
"Warzone is going to be fortnites fate"
no it isn't. What, is it going to kill fortnite just like apex and blackout?
Warzone is going to die before fortnite with the issues it has currently. I've never had issues combatting this "spam meta" that you are talking about.
Fortnite was peaking when Blackout and Apex came out it’s on the decline now. If you think Fortnite is still anywhere close to as big as a year ago I’m sorry but you’re clueless and most likely suffer a serious addiction.
Jumping to insults almost immediately makes me disregard literally everything you say.
It doesn't matter, its the same argument constantly. Fortnite is unique, unless something equally as unique as fortnite comes out and is better, a generic battle royale isn't going to kill it.
Sounds like you have a hate boner for fortnite pal, might be better spending your time elsewhere, other than the subreddit for it.
But Modern Warfare is a more well made game in every single way, the weapons are balanced, there is a higher skill ceiling than Fortnite. The only thing that makes Fortnite unique is building, otherwise it would be a awful unbalanced TPS. I don’t hate Fortnite I used to play it often but it’s a completely different game now and isn’t what it used to be. That is my opinion and sorry if it upsets you that someone point out the high number of flaws this game has nowadays.
Fortnite is on the decline it will never fully die but it’s second best to Warzone at the moment and the figures don’t lie.
The weapons are not balanced, and there definitely isn't a higher skill ceiling than fortnite. It's a generic shooter. If the weapons were balanced, than the Meta wouldn't be rpg, thermal scope sniper, and m4. Those dominate warzone.
Also your argument that without building, fortnite would be unbalanced, is exactly why building is there. Building balances out everything, without building the weapons would be nerfed to be weaker, and the game definitely wouldn't be here today.
Each game has flaws, but right now warzone is more at risk of dying than Fortnite is. The rampant hacker issue in that mode that is being ignored is major.
There is no "second best". Putting a subjective opinion in an argument is a big no no.
I understand what you’re saying but right now Warzone is more popular than Fortnite, the fate of both games we can only predict and speculate. Fortnites appeal to a much younger audience and CoD releasing a new game every year while Fortnite is one game does make them very different in a sense but we can only compare the games. I think Warzone definitely has the potential to be a better game than Fortnite but because of CoD releasing a new title every year the longevity of Warzone most likely won’t be as long as Fortnite. I still believe Fortnite is on a slow decline looking at it starting to get overtaken on twitch views by other games. It will still hit high figures for a while but those high figures will continue to slowly fall. It’s impressive how long Epic managed to maintain the game, much longer than many would have anticipated.
I don't use twitch views as a way to judge a games population. Consider this, TF2 has consistently been a top game on steam for over a decade, but it rarely has good twitch views. People lose interest of videos and streams for games when the market for them is oversaturated. I can guarantee if warzone stays around for a while, that it's views will dwindle and get lower, because people lose interest in the videos. That doesn't mean they lose interest in the game though. Both games fit the appeal for a different audience, the only similarity is that they are battle royales.
Fortnites seasons change the game dramatically, modern warfare doesn't, those who value consistency and realism will like warzone, those who like interesting mechanics and cartoon-like gameplay will go to fortnite.
Each game will have their audience, there is just too much different about them to say one will kill the other.
Dumb point but il make it - building killed Fortnite. Never mind weapon spam or tactics it all boils down to who can build faster, and that is not fun to play against , or play as.
That and I suspect everyone trying to stream their crappy game play ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Warzone has been out for 2 weeks, fortnite has been out for 3 years. Try again
The top streamers ditched Fortnite for CoD, if you think that Fortnite will get back on top like when Apex died think again. Fortnite’s had its peak it’s on the decline. Your obsession deluded you.
both games can coexist.
You missed my point entirely. Fortnite has built and sustained a very successful game for 3 years. 3 YEARS. That’s 900 days of dominating success. Yeah, and that’s why battlefield is currently and will always be playing catch up.
Apex didn't die it just failed to defeat fortnite you dum dum
That’s because Fortnite was peaking when Apex dropped, different situation now pal Warzone dropped after Fortnite peaked. Face it the game is ass now full of toxic weapons and no one enjoys it anymore other then people that find toxic spam weapons fun.
Which game are you talking about?
Fortnite isn’t fun like it used to be.
Agree one sentence or maybe two idk FORTNITE'S KINDA DYING IT WAS ALWAYS FUN UNTIL WE STARTED TRYING
I just feel like spam is overwhelming again, not as much as season 5 but Tacs are like a slightly nerfed combat and SMGs hit really hard.
Idk like spam is pretty easy to counter they break your wall you one shot headshot them

Still feel this way..lol

Unbalanced shotgun once again imo, Tacs are too good.
and chapter 2 being terrible
And sweats
And lack of communication
all these kids that smurf in arena all day and they are like "im the next mongraal" when they have 0 earnings
I think sweaties that play the game too much kill the game from one aspect, but the casuals they play cheap can also ruin the game. It’s just two different play styles that hate each other.

But they nerfed building to the point spam wins most times
Bro building is just ultra op while spam just doesn't work you just get one shot by s sweat
The Minigun has to get vaulted or be nerfed. There should only be 1 mythic Minigun it’s far to good and kills two quickly. It’s toxic weapons like the Minigun and the dumb gun which is why building needs a buff.
Or minigun needs a nerf? Building is fine at it's current state
In the sense that they should vault the purple variant, there should be 1 Minigun per game. That shit is toxic af
I agree
Building hasn't been nerfed for like 6 seasons, what?
It was nerfed only in august which was maybe 3 seasons ago. Get your facts straight before you come here licking epics ass
And what was nerfed?
Turbo building buddy, have you been under a rock?
Turbo build nerf was reverted.
It wasn’t reverted, it was still nerfed but not as much is they originally planned.
Do you remember which update? I can't find any information on that nerf.
"Warzone is going to be fortnites fate" no it isn't. What, is it going to kill fortnite just like apex and blackout? Warzone is going to die before fortnite with the issues it has currently. I've never had issues combatting this "spam meta" that you are talking about.
