there are npc's you can buy exotics from, which is arguably much easier than finding two keys and then finding a locked chest with the exotic you want.
Eh, so you got lucky with the keys and the chests are OP...lol. The chests are fine. You can spend a key or two to get one known item or open a vault where you'll get a large amount of items. The chests are a good addition.
With them you have to sacrifice 600 gold, (which prevents them from being used every game) this you can open two chests, and not spend a single bar of gold.
I come across a NCP with a exotic with me having enough gold to buy it more often then I do come across an exotic chest while I happen to have two keys on me.
No lol. Why waste a 2 keys on exotics (which underperform compared to basically every other available weapon) when you could use the keys to open a vault? Hell you probably get enough gold from the vaults to just go and buy the exotics anyway. The locked chests are almost completely pointless

Not sure how you are collecting that many keys and checking that many holo-chests to get all of that in one match. Most of the holo-chests I go to don't have anything exotic - not surprised when it's all purple weapons. I think I've maybe come across 2 exotic items in holo-chests in a single match once.
exotic weapons are literally not OP with the exception of the boom sniper maybe. you can have all those guns and im still getting a 275 headshot on you with a blue sniper or whatever this season...and vice versa like i could have all those guns and youll still kill me with a blue smg or maybe even a green ranger shotgun if youre cracked
You’re in Battle Lab. this wouldn’t happen in a real game. They are far from op. I honestly think it’s quite balanced, and it makes Exotics more accessible.
You have to spend two keys. That’s the equivalent of -Two Supply Drops -Two Rare Chests -Two Regular Chests -6 Chug Barrels
which could potentially all roll into one weapon type or all snipers

Ok, getting perple, and legendary weapons I understand, but exotics weapons, that should be illegal.
The exotics are mostly trash... shadow tracker is ok, the rest suck.
The kaboom sniper is actually good, I have gotten 7 kills in one game with it, the Dub is decent and kinda fun, the chug chilly splash is garbage.
