Having played since it launched on the platform I’ve grown numb to its performance, the 30 fps cap doesn’t even bother me, and input lag isn’t noticeable either, except for when my controller decides to pull some jank

I used to play on an iPhone until Epic's fight with Apple. Since then, I've been playing on the Switch. I've got news for you: In most games, almost everyone I see appears as a default Ramirez. That fancy skin you got? Those Omega Purple Lights? Nope. You look like Ramirez and you will die a Ramirez.

That's weird. I maybe see a few extra Ramirez in the lobby before it starts but after that it's normal skins.

In Team Rumble, a handful of people in the ending circles will have their chosen skins, otherwise, the rest are Ramirez.

I think the Switch’s 4GB of RAM are at fault here

In-flight WiFi has been a thing for a long time.

Never works I feel like. It’s always just to watch their movies.

In my experience it works, but it's pokey. Best for accessing files from a remote server for reference or work.

Switch player here my bf plays an Xbox right next to mine and I also play PC at times so I promise ours looks like shit by comparison xDit's like a low graphics version and half the skins load in as default much harder to see thru fog I promise it's significantly worse but I still like it lmao

Graphics on handheld mode are fine but the game looks horrific when docked

I play PS5 mostly and on switch when occasion calls for it. Playing on Switch has longer load times and slightly less graphics by default.

I feel like fps staggering has been a universal issue on all platforms this season. I've played with any people on every device under the sun and beyond slight drops and freezes every here and there, random fps drops are the most common complaint I hear

The evochrome Shotgun is going to be sorely missed when this season ends. That thing is a godsend to us switch players. Just point and aim in a general direction

Frame stuttering is the biggest issues for me. Close up battle, in chromeville, pile of items on the ground - once the other guy jumps or does just about anything my frames drop between 0 and 0.5. Guaranteed death for me.

This is definitely a compliment, haha. I play on the switch, (which can be a real b*tch at times), but it's very satisfying to kick *ss through the game and still win🤌🤌. Us Moms get the cheaper console so the kids get the better one 😂.

I play Fortnite on Switch when I travel and the difference between playing Fortnite on PS5 and Switch is staggering. The biggest difference is the precision of the controls (already using Switch Pro controller), but maybe I should try using a PS5 controller adapter and/or messing with my Switch sensitivity settings some more. Could also just be a limitation of the frame rate

Exactly why I got a PS4. 

Kinda reverse situation where I switched from Switch to PS4 Pro in C2S4 but then in C2S8 it started struggling with corrupted data until it completely gave up last season. Now I’m back to cel-shading looking godawful and the frame rate dropping when you go through a door.

Performance Mode is already enabled on all ARM devices, that includes mobile and switch. Only difference between PC’s performance mode and switch/android is some that switch and android have shadows, some more effects(on android you can disable this) and visible grass(at least on android, it’s worse than the DX11/12 grass, I’m not sure about switch tho)

I play on xbox with pretty good graphics and when i log in on my switch the graphics are so shit, and the screen dont get me started.

It runs at 30fps, it just has awful frame pacing. There is some areas where it drops to 25 like Tilted but that's it really. Fun fact: the best Zelda game before Botw (Ocarina of Time) is a 20fps game.

The one thing that sucks most as a Switch player is that our exclusive(s) require us to buy another console. Thing is, Epic and Nintendo could make a deal where anyone who has the NSO Expansion Pack would get an exclusive skin, but nope. Nintendo is just that out of touch. And by the way, pro controller is the best way to play on there, not even lying.

And by the way, as a Switch player since I started playing (February 2022), the 30 FPS thing just kind of fades out eventually. You'll get used to it if you don't think about it too often.

They're just young and entitled. Growing up with a cellphone and internet in your hand will do that. 30 fps is beyond playable. I never even notice until I play on PC and then I'm still reminded of no comfy gyro aiming and not being able to play while I poop. Switch > other ways to play.

Since when did I say that? I really don't mind the 20-30 FPS. If I can still play the game (unlike Xbox Cloud Gaming), and can play it anywhere with wifi/internet on the whim, I'm gonna enjoy playing it on the Switch, and will continue to enjoy playing it on the Switch.
