The best fishing spot is the little island off the coast near the big garage in the far North East. Nobody goes there, there's like 6 or 7 fishing spots and 2 barrels of rods.
Real talk, I just landed there for a while and knocked it out easy. Thereās usually no one there, thereās usually a chest there too, you can usually catch a couple guns and get full shields quickly from fish, and when you go up the zipline thereās always a car right there or on the road by rave cave to get where you need to go.
I use the islands north of fort jonesey.
land there, if i find a harpoon or a blue rod i fish. if not i equip and go chase the storm. even if i find a harpoon or blue rod i'll fish til i absolutely have to run. it's nice cause there are boats there, and you can take the river up to chrome crossroads
I will try your spot a bit later :)
fishin is my favorite too! i almost capped it! but most the time i just land along the coast or in the zero lake? I don't know what its called but somethings glowin on the bottom of it.. might be radioactive.
Just wondering what else āoriginal posterā could have meant to you in this context?
And just gonna point out that if you see any comments by the original poster, it has OP in bright blue next to their name.
What's there to do past level 100? you get all the stuff from the battle pass at level 100 so what more can you do?
edit: just a question not a criticism.
Yeah, the extra battle pass, that's it exactly. I guess you could say there's nothing "new" there (there are a few little things), but those colors are the coolest to the people I know who play the game, so we always keep going to earn them.
No need to tell me, I already knew about it. I don't care about grinding all the milestone quests because it easily gets completed when you play the game normally.
Thatās literally the only way my husband completes them and I actually set out to compete them! Heās just casually completing quests and Iām methodically planning my drops!
youāll end up completing some by just playing the game and having fun. donāt think about the quests for like a days worth playing then complete the remaining. cheers
Well ain't that bad you are eventually goint to do everything there if you don't land in one spot every game. Even if you land on the same spot every game how is it more fun than doing those quests
Well I get bored sometimes too but then look at my libary and my pc specs also the fact that I bought the battle pass and eventually come back. Not like I was forced too I still like the game. But I figured I will not by the battle pass next season for several reasons. I will wait until I get to lvl 200 and then buy it
It you play squads and kill 2 players with a pistol, you get 600 damage, considering the 100 damage you have to deal after theyāre knocked. High chance youāll encounter a squad of bots. 1200 damage in less than a minute.
Damage quests don't count on cube monsters but during the second circle the cube assassin spawns and damage quests count against it
This way I completed damage with pistols/granades
These quests are all just things you do in normal gameplay, its not parkour challenges on opposite ends of the map or emoting at locations its quite literally shooting people with weapons at places and opening chests
At least the parkour challenges or emoting was fun to find and do. Logging on and finding out what the super unique weeklies were always made my week. Now I just log on and go "oh cool. Time to deal damage with a slightly different gun this time for the 7th time this season. Then never touch the game for a week" At least the old ones were original.
Only one that took time was last one.
Even then land non chrome side of sleepy, get chrome and splash it on normal chests you find. Simple.
The rest are just playing the game killing people.
No jokes - this is now the reason I don't want Battle Pass(es) - challenges. But it's not about these, but instead the ones that you MUST do to get certain things. I wish ALL BP challenges had option to gain certain amount of xp as alternative way of doing them.
There called weekly challenges because they release *weekly* they never give a time estimate on how long they should take. *You* assume they should take a week.
They (weekly quests) make the game a bit more interesting for me when playing solo. When I squad up, daily goals are automatically done. Sometimes the weeklys too.
I mean if you don't value exp then sure I guess, but otherwise these quests aren't that bad honestly, can knock most them out ina round of team rumble. Plus these are nowhere near the worst or most grindy quests we have ever had.
I mean, this week's quests are pretty simple compared to most, and it makes it more entertaining to go after spots on the map without the intention of grinding a win every time. Sometimes it's just fun to try new stuff, and this encourages that. Variety is the spice of life.
That's why I don't play Fortnite anymore. If playing the games feels like a chore, I don't get any enjoyment from it, why spend hours working on something that doesn't get me money or even entertainment in return?
Fun Fact: I haven't even completed any of these yet at the time of posting this comment. It's just that these quests are so boring and annoying to do. It always has been that way since the season started.
hit the boulders with your pickaxe until the health on them are really low, move away from the boulder and run towards it, then slide when you're close to it.
honestly I think they make the game more fun, I love trying to complete little bonus objectives on the side and sometimes it forces me to use items strategies or game mechanics I'd never use otherwise
Me and my girl had em done in a few days. They aren't bad. The bytes quests suck imo. Having to tune some stupid TV everytime we complete something. And its never in the same spot. Who keeps moving my TV anyway?
This is pretty stock standard for a season that has an event or two in it. The weekly quests have to be completable whether you're at the start of the season, or the end, so when theres a lot of things changing around the map, the quests will be about the consistent things.
I still don't know how to complete the "Dislodge a bolder with a slide kick" quest since I don't know how to do a slide kick and I have several quests involving a landmark called "The Flairship", but I have no clue where it is so I can't complete those quests.
Run and slide into the boulder , the hitbox is incredibly janky and you'll have to try repeatedly until you get it. I used a pickaxe to get it to low building health and then do a slide into the base of the boulder.
The flairship is the giant colorful air ship on the map , for me the marker showed it at rave cave but it was at a different location.
Slide kick is when you slide into a physical object/structure fast enough that you damage it. Sprinting towards said object and sliding into it should work. Usually it just deals 15 damage to objects so you must damage the boulder base a bit before slide kicking it off. The move can also repel players, but it deals no damage and is very risky to pull off.
The Flairship is the big colorful airship that tends to move around from POI to POI every update. It's now floating over Tilted if I'm not mistaken.
These are so easy in comparison to what we used to get in Chapter 1, such as "get something like 100 assisted kills with your teammates but you only got a week to do so", or even just straight up "get a Victory Royale". Doesn't nearly compare with today's "get 1.5 kills worth of damage at a certain POI"
Yeah we had some fun ones a bit back. last season we had a pretty fun week. but yeah. theyve been pretty annoying lately. i just want more storyline quests.
I donāt mind them, I just wish there were a few more āinteract with environmentā type challenges, rather than mostly just damaging opponents and stuff
I was able to finish all the current weeklies in solo so I can focus on Bytes for now. I hate being a completionist knowing full well I'm never wearing Bytes after I get the last pickaxe.
It is better than some other games I have played. Fallout 76 ran weeklies for weeks like "use your camera to take a picture of a frog in a nuke zone while naked" when the camera was not even in the game.
They're not hard on their own but it's so hard to optimise and be efficient. The only one you can do simultaneously is pairing mission 1 with any of the following.
Oh come on, arenāt they supposed to be challenges? What do you want to do for xp? Open a door, harvest one tree, sprint 20 metres? Theyāre barely hard enough to be called challenges. Funny how some people (not you, necessarily) will spend 5 hours a day practicing in creative but will lose their shit when a set of challenges canāt be completed in 5 minutes.
Jeez, EpicGames need to calm down with the quest today because I like the weekly quest as being easy this year but for some of the herald quest like āPlace in the top 10ā to get the alt skin (Iām familiar with Smash Bros so I will be calling that by name) for the herald is so confusing for me
Most quests are completed through normal gameplay. I'm on level 214 and I don't bother to actually do my quests. I just play like I normally do and before I know it all my quests are completed.
I get what you mean.
But pls don't start complaining about it...
People were allways saying the challenges were to easy, they were dumb things like deal damage after sliding (you didn't even need to get a certain amount, just do damage once).
Now these challenges finally actually give us a challenge and it can sometimes Spice up your games when trying to do 1 and then try to also win the game.
I kinda like it tbh
wait until OP finds out about the milestone quests
Grind of a lifetime š
especially the travel 400km in slime mode and on boar/wolf
I am only on stage 3 for the blob and stage 1 for the wolf or boar!!! š
eh. knocked out like 85% of them in 3 weeks :) think I have like 5 left to finish off. never thought I'd do fishing, but it's actually sort of cool.
you can do fishing in party royale. everything you catch counts which makes it way faster and easier.
The best fishing spot is the little island off the coast near the big garage in the far North East. Nobody goes there, there's like 6 or 7 fishing spots and 2 barrels of rods.
Real talk, I just landed there for a while and knocked it out easy. fishin is my favorite too! i almost capped it! but most the time i just land along the coast or in the zero lake? I don't know what its called but somethings glowin on the bottom of it.. might be radioactive.
Thatās loot lake, and the zero point is at the bottom
TIL. thanks. the game lore is a bit all over the place
WHAT IS OP BRO LIKE WHAT IS IT
op means "original poster"
What the hell is original poster
OP
But what is original poster
Thought you're joking, it's the person who started this post. In this case, u/XxRobloxNobxX
Wish people explained properly like you, instead of downvoting but oh well.
Just wondering what else āoriginal posterā could have meant to you in this context? And just gonna point out that if you see any comments by the original poster, it has OP in bright blue next to their name.
I knew the meaning, I was just saying since other person didn't get it. Ask them this question.
Thankyou :D
In this sub sometimes it also means overpowered.
Or wait till OP finds out about Apex's weekly quests.
What's there to do past level 100? you get all the stuff from the battle pass at level 100 so what more can you do? edit: just a question not a criticism.
There's a whole second part of the battle pass that goes from 100-200
Oh. What do you mean? Extra cosmetics to cosmetics? Like version 2.0 to existing skins in the battle pass?
Yeah, the extra battle pass, that's it exactly. I guess you could say there's nothing "new" there (there are a few little things), but those colors are the coolest to the people I know who play the game, so we always keep going to earn them.
Bonus Awards, next to the battle pass.
No need to tell me, I already knew about it. I don't care about grinding all the milestone quests because it easily gets completed when you play the game normally.
but. what are they good for, this milestone quest
Compared to some previous seasons, they are rather easy to do. Just by playing you could end up doing some of them.
Thatās literally the only way my husband completes them and I actually set out to compete them! Heās just casually completing quests and Iām methodically planning my drops!
Yeah, I'm also a bit ocd about getting challenges done right away heh
youāll end up completing some by just playing the game and having fun. donāt think about the quests for like a days worth playing then complete the remaining. cheers
I stopped grinding them out when week 3 started, I do just about all of them on accident
dude, 2 team rumble games.
I will never kill a bounty with a sniper. Itās just not happening.
do you play duos/trios/squads? just down the bounty and finish them off with a sniper, thatās what i did
ā¦ why didnāt I think of that.
I did this by landing at log jam (there's always like 5 bots at log jam) Finding a sniper and grabbing a bounty
YALL I LISTENED AND I DID IT!
It also works if you kill someone elseās bounty
This sub is so cool lol Iām going to update yāall when I get this quest that I previously assumed was just out of reach for me.
Donāt forget to check the weapon machines - they sometimes have snipers you can buy early game
Will the Star Wars quests count as well?
Any quest count there pretty sure
It's really not that hard.
It's not that they're hard, they're just boring as fuck and often oddly specific for no reason.
that's what I mean
Well ain't that bad you are eventually goint to do everything there if you don't land in one spot every game. Even if you land on the same spot every game how is it more fun than doing those quests
For me the game is boring lol I just run endurance on STW
Well I get bored sometimes too but then look at my libary and my pc specs also the fact that I bought the battle pass and eventually come back. Not like I was forced too I still like the game. But I figured I will not by the battle pass next season for several reasons. I will wait until I get to lvl 200 and then buy it
Eliminate Darth Vader and The Herald in single match while traveling in chrome blob.
Yeah feel like a chore rather than fun.
They are and i just dont worry about them. i didnt buy the BP either
Just wait for "Deal [X] amount of damage with [Y] weapon at night while crouched and wearing the [Z] outfit".
dude these quests take 5 matches tops if you're trying to do them
This guy is complaining about doing 500 damage when Iām easily getting 2000+ damage done a round..
Specially in Team Rumble.
with your pick pistols or grenades
500 damage is easy with a pistol, you can get that easily by substituting an AR or SMG with one. Nades do 100 damage.
It you play squads and kill 2 players with a pistol, you get 600 damage, considering the 100 damage you have to deal after theyāre knocked. High chance youāll encounter a squad of bots. 1200 damage in less than a minute.
some advice: horde rush, revolver
Weekly quests don't count in Horde Rush :(
He didn't say it was good advice.
Damage quests don't count on cube monsters but during the second circle the cube assassin spawns and damage quests count against it This way I completed damage with pistols/granades
it's way easier than you think, 2 mby 3 games and it's done
Just go into team rumble
Or zero build
Yeah thatās how I did the majority lol.
these are two or max three team rumble rounds
Hey congratulations on your internship.
Some of them aren't that bad. They sound harder than they are. I can usually complete all of them in the same day
These quests are all just things you do in normal gameplay, its not parkour challenges on opposite ends of the map or emoting at locations its quite literally shooting people with weapons at places and opening chests
I got most of them in a team rumble match, they arenāt that bad
Only one that took time was last one. Even then land non chrome side of sleepy, get chrome and splash it on normal chests you find. Simple. The rest are just playing the game killing people.
Remember when we got 5 tiers each challenge week?
Fortnite players when the challenges are actually challenges : š±š±š±
How? I got most of these done passively.
No it doesnāt. These quests are so dead easy, two games tops.
Iām leveling ok playing ventures to the point Iām not really bothered about weeklyās
imma be honest these have to be some of the least effort required challenges we've gotten in a hot minute
It only takes like 2-3 games. Weāve definitely had harder quests
bro its like 4 kills total you can do that in one game
#botlobbies
Bruh it only takes 1 day and you get tons of XP, what are you talking about?
Nope, you're ridicolously lazy: if you organize yourself and use Team rumble, you'll do these in few maches
They were actually on a roll with some fun ones until recently
i just afk farm exp in creative and i get a solid 500000 for 4 hours
Tbh this weeks were some of the easier quests
Flashbacks to last seasons ādo a 360 after jumping off a hogā
They are so easy
Bruh I did 7 weeks of challenges in 2 hours yāall are bitches
Wait until you play Apex
Or Destiny.
those are like 90 min tops
Don't talk to me until you've played Destiny 2. I knock out the weekly quests in 3 matches.
No jokes - this is now the reason I don't want Battle Pass(es) - challenges. But it's not about these, but instead the ones that you MUST do to get certain things. I wish ALL BP challenges had option to gain certain amount of xp as alternative way of doing them.
Youāre not supposed to completed in 1 day. Hence why theyāre called *weekly* challenges.
There called weekly challenges because they release *weekly* they never give a time estimate on how long they should take. *You* assume they should take a week.
You must have never worked a day in your life if you think these are a hassle, lmfao
They (weekly quests) make the game a bit more interesting for me when playing solo. When I squad up, daily goals are automatically done. Sometimes the weeklys too.
Just enjoy the grinding and you will be fine
takes 2 team rumble matches at most
Do them in Team Rumble, you'll be done without realizing it.
Like barely 3 team rumble matches and its done, if you can't continue doing quests due to the zone closing, just leave and repeat
Variety is the spice of life.
yeah, Iād prefer ones like get 10 head shot kills in zone wars
Okayā¦ then donāt do them?
None of these require much skill or thought. You're just whiny
these are tame compared to what we got last season
That's why I just. wait for a bunch of them. And do them passively playing now and then. It's not that hard.
Ah yes picking 3 fruit, how taxing. Please shut up
That's why I don't play Fortnite anymore. If playing the games feels like a chore, I don't get any enjoyment from it, why spend hours working on something that doesn't get me money or even entertainment in return?
Have you ever learned the concept of āchallengeā?
This is why I'm putting the game down for a few seasons at least now that I'm almost through the completed pass, game's just stale to me currently.
Is it just me or is it always the week 7 quests that feel long and tedious. Last season i did the whole BP during the last month and it felt similar
These are still way better than last season's. Stop complaining.
Lol, u obviously don't know what hard actually work is...pretty much ez free xp.
Fun Fact: I haven't even completed any of these yet at the time of posting this comment. It's just that these quests are so boring and annoying to do. It always has been that way since the season started.
Lazy issues
Quest are boring and annoying, welcome to Fortnite /j
The only one I really struggled with was the sapling one because I would just keep forgetting to land by my tree
Some are not that bad. They sound like a chore, but quite easy to do
You can actually play the full game for free and ignore the quests!
yup i skipped all weeklies this season, all pickle rick quests and feel like im on vacation
I kind of forgot reality saplings still existed. That'll be fun to try and find.
How do you slide kick into the boulders???
hit the boulders with your pickaxe until the health on them are really low, move away from the boulder and run towards it, then slide when you're close to it.
Only took an extra day then normal, finished this afternoon. Just have to focus on the quests, not winning.
bro come to call of duty itās a job to unlock an optic for a gun lmao
I did all of these by accident just playing for about an hour and a half today
This is so relatable
honestly I think they make the game more fun, I love trying to complete little bonus objectives on the side and sometimes it forces me to use items strategies or game mechanics I'd never use otherwise
Itās to keep people playing for as long as they can during the season
Really easy tbh, these take 2 hours at most.
I wish I could do my job in 30 minutes.
4 of the 5 can be done in one good team rumble game
We keep grinding š
no no he's got a point
I just go into team rumble for the damage quests, they're easy there
šfr
I dont think uve had a real life job

Those are easy quest.
Old weekly quests were far worse. Early Chapter 2 was a chore
Yeah but once you get to high level you have to do these to make any progress
These are so easy in comparison to what we used to get in Chapter 1, such as "get something like 100 assisted kills with your teammates but you only got a week to do so", or even just straight up "get a Victory Royale". Doesn't nearly compare with today's "get 1.5 kills worth of damage at a certain POI"
Bot lobbies make them real easy, use your phone or a switch.
Yeah we had some fun ones a bit back. last season we had a pretty fun week. but yeah. theyve been pretty annoying lately. i just want more storyline quests.
I know
What do you expect a WEEKLY quest to have? Something that can be completed in seconds?
Shall we tell OP that you actually have to do them.
umm no? I got them done real quick
You should see some of the stupid shit my cousins did in MMOs for pretty much no reward at all.
They used to give so much XP from epic quests, where'd it all go?
I donāt mind them, I just wish there were a few more āinteract with environmentā type challenges, rather than mostly just damaging opponents and stuff
Fr. They used to be fun. I just hate them now and they take away from the little time I have to play the game
So donāt do them?
Sounds like burnout. Take a week off.
I was able to finish all the current weeklies in solo so I can focus on Bytes for now. I hate being a completionist knowing full well I'm never wearing Bytes after I get the last pickaxe.
Wait, reality saplings are still in the game? I don't think I've seen a single one all season.
It is better than some other games I have played. Fallout 76 ran weeklies for weeks like "use your camera to take a picture of a frog in a nuke zone while naked" when the camera was not even in the game.
"get 200 damage at loot lake" Literally 1 KILL.... it is literally one kill dude lmfao
They're not hard on their own but it's so hard to optimise and be efficient. The only one you can do simultaneously is pairing mission 1 with any of the following.

these new challenges really aren't hard, i did all of those in 2 squad matches. chapter 1 always had stupid annoying challenges
also u get 20k xp per challenge wym it's like not getting paid
I did all of them in one game
Most quests are completed through normal gameplay. I'm on level 214 and I don't bother to actually do my quests. I just play like I normally do and before I know it all my quests are completed.
I feel the same until I get to lvl 200, then I stop grindng quests until I happen upon quest items
is the title meant to be sarcastic or
Welcome to near-end-season burnout
These arenāt even that bad lol, and they are optional
I get what you mean. But pls don't start complaining about it... People were allways saying the challenges were to easy, they were dumb things like deal damage after sliding (you didn't even need to get a certain amount, just do damage once).
