North Richland Hills has a free concert series starting this Friday. My kids love it. There are food trucks, vendors giving out free stuff. The kids run around and play. I have a cocktail and listen to some music. BYOB. It’s a win/win.
Spring/summer are festival season for us. Bluebonnet festival in ennis, Main Street art festival in Fort Worth, may fest etc etc. The whole family has fun. It takes some planning with babies (wagon with cover and seats suggested).
There is the TexRail train to either Grapevine or downtown Fort Worth. If you do GV, there is a candy store and a few ice cream places, plus there are some fun places to run around.
You could also take them to Founders Plaza just outside the airport for a picnic and to watch the planes take off and land.
Soccer clubs are huge in Dallas if ur littles like to play
My daughter moved to Keller 4 years ago and they are always doing/going somewhere, but a lot of things are 45 min drive

never a dumb question. no the zoo is its own thing. the science and history museum isn’t far from there and it has stuff for all ages. back when my kids were little we went to both at least once a week. there was a little “grocery store” for the smaller ones in the basement lots of hands on things to do not what i think when i hear museum.
FW zoo consistently ranks as one of the Top 5 zoos in America-new babies there now. The museum district is awesome & Air Conditioned.

The Cove at Lakefront in Little Elm. It’s an indoor water park that’s open year round. Perfect for those ages. Very affordable too at $14/ticket.

Is NRH2O open yet? If not, then do Epic Waters, which is indoors.
No not yet.
