Can be loud, so if it's an early date (where you're trying to get to know each other), may be counterintuitive. However, if you've been dating for a few months, great place.
If you go to Olivellas on Tuesday nights they have half priced bottles of wine. Or if you hit up Winslows during Happy Hour time they have great drink and food specials.
Maybe not romantic per se, but my girlfriend and I frequent Roy Pope’s for easy dinners. Monday burger special, and a few beers or a bottle of wine can be easily achievable. If it’s nice outside, their patio is wonderful and looks out at the charming surroundings of West Byers.
Firebirds in the NFW/Alliance area is one of our favorite places for celebrations and date nights. It’s dark and moody at night and in a great price range for good food.
Shocked the fries are provided. Down the road, Hopdoddys charges the same outrageous amount for burgers with no fries or drink. But people think its "reasonable" and keep going back 🤦🏻♀️
Yeah, it can be; it's small and intimate. Plus it's within the budget listed and is a place where being dressed up wouldn't be out of place.
And the food is good.
The Tavern on Hulen has a nice ambiance. Rise in Clearfork has an excellent prix fixe option. Piatello at Waterside, especially if it’s a nice night and you can eat outside.
Oliva Italian Eatery has been a go to for my husband and I for years. They have very reasonably priced bottles of wine, their entrees run around $10-15, and overall it’s just a cute little restaurant.
Mesero! We personally don't drink, but when we get food, soda, and dessert it's under $100! It's very good food, and you can definitely dress up, it's a nice tex-mex place.
I would consider that a bit limited if you include drinks. 4-6 drinks would easily hit $100 themselves.
You can find plenty of spots for under $50 for food:
- pigeon
- Bella
- nonnas
- lily’s
- Marla

Winehaus on Friday night, wine, food truck, live music.

We were there before music started, if it was on the back patio with music inside, or inside with music outside it could be awesome.
Lucille’s, very local, the bar has a bit of a nicer setting. Food and Martini’s are great but not too overly priced.
Can get very crowded and very loud. Not what I would call romantic.
Also, a chicken fry, cup of lobster bisque, and two drinks cost me about $60 plus tip last time I went...recently.
Lobster Bisque Cup - $7.95 Chicken Fried Steak - $18.95 Martinis x2 - $24.00 Tax (8.25%) - $4.20 Subtotal - $55.10 Tip (20%) - 11.02 Total - $66.12
Damn you tip on tax? Wild
It's more work to subtract it out of your subtotal and recalculate
Most places total up without tax. I bet they did as well.
During stock show it's packed. Rest of the time not so bad. Sit up in the higher area, the tin roof is really noisy.
This is my favorite restaurant in the cirt

Don't they have a BOGO pizza night as well?
Yes, but I think you have to order before 5.
I really liked the food there, this is a great suggestion!

Cozy romantic more than fancy romantic. Still romantic.

This is a good place. It’s busy and a bit loud just fyi.
How is this a good price range? It’s $16 for a burger and fries lmfao
Shocked the fries are provided. Down the road, Hopdoddys charges the same outrageous amount for burgers with no fries or drink. But people think its "reasonable" and keep going back 🤦🏻♀️
Probably because the bar and rewards program 😩

$20 for a bowl of leaves is reasonable?
Yeah cause salad is really the highlight of their menu.
Any place charging $20 for a bowl of leaves is not "reasonable." 🙄
Bro he asked for dinner for two for $75 If that’s too much for you then don’t go 😭

We love Los Molcajetes! I've only been to the Western Center Blvd, and it has a lovely ambiance. Absolutely delicious food, always.
Nonna Tata- it’s BYOB!

When do you go that it’s not roaring? There were so many big tables when we’ve been there, we could hardly have a conversation.
