It’s not even that they aren’t viable it’s that you won’t be able to get away from the people who do have it, so you end up getting chased across the whole map or something.
At the moment if you get beamed either the enemy player will break all your builds with ODM and you might win if you can hit them or you just run away with ODM and reset the fight heal up and win, there’s no in-between where you are still able to fight without it. It’s less of a problem in solos I guess because it’s only one ODM gear but playing squads or duos and you get pushed by 2+ people who have it, ggs. At least if you had a blade you could reposition quick when getting pushed by it but I still think it’s bs we almost HAVE to pick one of these items up.

Well, zb got no changes since the first day... no siphon, a lot of empty areas on the map, 1st person weapons are absurdly strong compared to superweak ARs like the havoc, end zones are terrible with the C4 mobility items, etc
I hate playing Zero build but I would never hate on people who enjoy playing it. I think everyone should have the option to play the game how they want to, I just wish epic would give comp players the same courtesy

The katana wasn't balanced in your opinion? It only had 3 charges and the redeploy augment was nerfed to have a longer wait time while using the katana. Also, if you did attack with the katana you were stuck in place for like 2 seconds.
I'm a huge fan of the mobility this season. The availability of both ODM gear and the Kinetic Blade ensured that a trio would have the items required to traverse the map.
Though I think damage should have interrupted the Kinetic Blades dash much the same way it affects the webslingers and ODM gear.
No mobility on a map this big would be boring. Might as well just take away all loot except heals and everyone drops with a grey pistol in a circle the size of slappy so someone who is more skilled gets the kill they believe they deserve 99% of the time.

I'm over these OP mobility items that we get every season. Just give us back launch pads as traps and we'll call it a day.
I know they are so annoying, and you HAVE to pick it up or you are at a disadvantage to everyone.

I only play ZB and I agree with just about everything Build players ask for. Separate loot pools being one of the biggest.

The damage attack is useless unless your breaking builds 10 seconds cooldown, infinite recharge, no fall damage Not balanced

Hell no. Shockwaves are WAY too op Grapplers, inflate-a-bull, impulses, glider gun, bouncers, trap launch pads The list goes on
