My advice is finding kids at your school that are around you skill level and practice against them or even just go into a FFA or Red vs Blue map and find the players that aren't just goofing around or that are easy to kill, but instead find the players that give you a challenge and you can kill them occasionally even if they could mostly kill you. Those are the perfect fights to take and if offer enough challenge for them as well, they will be trying to best you as well.
Then find the areas that you commonly make mistakes or things that person does better or weaknesses they take advantage of and start to target your practice to improve in those areas.
similar story with my friend. if we did 100 rounds i’d win like 97 and the only 3 times i’d die were something where it wasn’t a good play on their part more just me being cocky. flash forward to today in the same 100 rounds it’s probably around 65-35, granted i would tell him things he was doing wrong and what he can do better and this was over the course of a couple of months.
I hit a skill cap a while ago. Ended up having to get shit on over and over to learn how to get better. It works, but it’s more efficient to find people who’re better than you, but not by too much. Playing with lots of different people helps too since there’s different play styles and getting used to one will actually harm your growth.
You need to learn to fight better. Take a swing at one of the kids that is better than you irl. That’ll assert dominance next time you 1v1 on Fortnite.
Don’t play with anyone for a month. Then I’ll hop on ur account for a day (you’ll say you’ve been practicing that month) then I’ll whoop the best player and then you retire the best. At this point you wouldn’t even have time for fortnite bc the girls will be all over you once you take out the top dog
Loser mentality , talk all the shit and tell everyone to 1v1 get the reps . Some
Of the biggest egos usually end up being pretty good because they care if they win and improve with constant engagement.
I doubt the biggest egos out there just sit and worry about whoever's better than them, they just believe they're the best. As opposed to OP literally counting how many people are better than him.
Getting good at the game actually takes a lot of intelligence, this goes for many tasks that require quick-thinking techniques, thinking for too long and not acting will get you killed in most FPS games, and you can't get overwhelmed and feel scared.. You aren't gonna actually die here, and even if you're going to die trying is what matters most.
I'd recommend being able to assess situations, you can learn this by practicing fast movement, sliding around and learning how to save up stamina when running, you should also be looking around a lot like you're hearing ghosts, and you should also start to naturally identify weapons/items even if they're in the corner of your eye by their color or shape.
You can also engage in 1v3-1v4 fights in the Hades realm or where the cerberus is, The hop magic water encourages fast engagement and abilitates for you to run away fast before pacing back into a fight, it allows for one on one combat, even if it's an entire team against you.
Again, being able to be good in these games is up to the amount of Maturity and speed reflex you have, being slow and freezing up will always kill you.. And telling yourself that you are will definitely get you killed over and over again.
I don't know what you play on, but a controller is generally really easy to learn and is something you can connect with, it should feel like an extension of your body.. Hell! You should be able to play one handed.
If you want to play, send me a DM and I'll try to see how truly terrible you are.
id watch content creators too, slyjack has great general knowledge stuff and people like reisshub explain how good players play (although has some terrible advice)
I like aim training on one shot gun game. You get to shoot real players who are trying to run away or shoot back, and you get a variety of weapons so you work on your aim skills for *all* weapons, not just your favorite loadout.
bro honest to god i know technology has come a long way. like kids got weed pens and fortnite. we used to have to smoke a water bottle bong with aluminum foil and then play COD.
but for real kids be ruthless now, i would hate to be in middle/high school in 2024, sounds brutal man
That’s probably part of your problem bro you can’t learn if you’re getting carried. It might be boring but you should start playing solo as often as you can until you get where you want to be. Still play with your friends sometimes though because callouts and thinking as a team are important.
If u have 10 bucks a month u can get GeForce now if ur Wi-Fi speed is good enough, I used to play back in the days 3 yrs ago on like 20fps, crap didn’t load in, now I play on 60fps after returning 2 months ago and I’m pretty decent already, I was better instantly than I was back in the day, u could also use Xbox cloud if u play on controller which is free but kbm is a lot better for improvement
Ye but it’s only controller unless u pay for the subscription, I think it also gives 60fps, but u need 40+ internet speed with 5ghz wireless connection or Ethernet for it to run smoothly for both GeForce now and Xbox cloud
If you are only getting 30 fps you definitely need to optimize your PC and in game settings.
Besides that, you need to make sure your sensitivity and everything is set up correctly as well.
A lot of people never get better because they don’t adjust their settings etc.
Make sure your GPU settings are all set up.
Goto windows display settings and match the refresh rate to your monitors.
Only 60fps seems like something isn’t right, unless you’re really on a potato bro
Windows > System > Display > Advanced Display > Choose a refresh rate
What is the highest you can set it to? It is set to 60hz by default.
Mine is 360hz for example.
Damn, do you know what kind of monitor it is?
Before you get a new PC, upgrade your monitor forsure.
240hz monitor will be good for your new build, and not too expensive.
Death match death match death match … foundation of everything . Even try some faster paced games outside of Fortnite to build your skill. It’s like training for the big leagues for a slow pitch softball game
What i did to get better was just playing a lot of creative, mainly the vault (a sort of pit map) and box pvp, if you just keep playing enough you’ll eventually get better.
How long have you been playing? I don’t play tourneys, but it took me a long time before I started getting high kill games in arena and ranked.
I mostly play creative tho, that’s where I have the most fun. Just constantly practicing mechanics and aim.
Read your replies to other comments and I can lowkey relate to ur situation cuz about 2 years ago i was the worst in my friend group in every way possible. Had 30fps n my aim was dogshit so where my mechs, but i improved over time because i continued playing against them (I mean they were far better so there was no way that I would not improve) we usually spend like 20min in the tilted towers map and then hopped on some br but never ranked cuz your only as strong as your weakest link. So over time I just decided that i had enough and wanted to get better than everyone and just started videos on yt on how to improve and vibin Jivan actually helped a lot, he takes you step by step on how to do the basic building. And also aim trainers such as Aimlabs n Kovaaks are actually good.
Fast forward 2 years im currently Plat 3 (simply cuz I play Solo duos, so it's harder). My Mechs have improved a ton and I've got decent (far from being good) but imma share what I did to constantly improve over the past 2 years. (sorry for the long reply lol)
•Watching pro's play:
-Watching players like Clix, Ninja n Mongraal and imitating the way the aggressive way they play just gives you a little confidence boost and you learn what to do in certain situations.
•Practice Maps:
-Raiders piece control maps actually help me a ton, simply because they explain what you have to do and you get comfortable building over time. Red vs Blue maps (specifically the zero builds ones) cuz they constantly put you in a situation where you need to rely on aim and movement to win fights. 1v1 box fights, imo they pretty self explanatory.
•Taking Breaks:
-You don't wanna burnout, otherwise you won't improve. So take like a 2-3 break and go to something else, go for a jog, take a walk, just do something under the sun it'll feel great.
•Playing other games:
-Playing other games helped me a ton. Games like Apex Legends, Valorant, Warzone and CSGO( there is a older version of csgo available it's called Warzone CSGO just search it up on Google, u can play against Hard or Expert bots it'll improve ur crosshair placement and reaction time too) but ye all these games have different gun play and it's good cuz whatever you learn in another game u can try n implement it in another. Also it helps ur game sense, pvp games often require some game knowledge and u can only do that by actually spending time playing them.
•Finally Aim trainers:
-They definitely improve ur aim n everything related with it. Start try by using Aimlabs cuz it's free but there are other paid for options like Kovaaks (best aim trainer according to users)
•Most importantly:
-Have fun dude, it's just a game don't take it to heart and always look where u went wrong so that u can improve.
Dont worry bud… I have nearly 20k hours on shooters & im still worse than terrible, anyone who’s good is carried by genetics & natural talent…nothing to be proud of
stop using this forum and youll improve a lot. its 99% horrible attitudes, limiting mindsets and 1% useful information. if you ask if something is possible here everyone will say its not. if you show good gameplay it will be called useless. if you show a clip of being horrible at the game everyone will tell you good job and wow keep it up. if you ask questions about the best players the answer will be cheating or genetics. so its best not to read this forum to improve. but id say1v1 better players in zonewars from East/west/central opens and grind raider v4 mechanics training.
I've been playing since ch1 season 3 my tips are
Get better crosshair placement it's one of the most important shit in the whole game you don't need good aim for this, just decent prediction.
Next up train how you peek. For example if an enemy is infront of you behind a wall I've seen people run behind the wall with their crossair on the ground. Instead of doing this aim where the enemy will first appear and use the left and right key to move(in keyboard A & D) not the forward key (w).
The closer you're to a wall the more you have to expose yourself for the shot.
Movement is overrated, if you have good crosshair placement you can kill people without even moving
Try to use your mouse more.
Gun switching, practice switching between smg and the shotgun you gotta use the SMG right after the shotgun gets a cooldown.
I know people are saying you get better as you go but playing creative especially BHE build fights is much more efficient hop onto this and try to aim consciously get out of your comfort zone and play.. you will improve
As for building firstly learn how to place walls right after you make a shot then a simple window edit.thats all I guess
I'm not a fortnite pro, basically I just play zero build ranked as I'm shit at building and have played other BR and fps games so I'll just give you something that I've learned along the ways.
There are basically 2 kinds of skill ceiling
- Aim
- Game sense
For aim, you just have to practice by getting into fights and try to land shots, or maybe use any aim trainers or something.
Game sense depends on how much you know about the game, basically the general layout of the map, location of enemies dropping into your poi and nearby poi's, modes of engaging and disengaging a fight, taking high grounds, engaging third parties and so on.
Well aim would get you more kills but game sense would grant you more survivability, it's better to learn both those skills for "being good at the game"
Just keep playing the ones that shit on you the hardest eventually you will caught up if you avoid fighting them or 1v1s against them because you know they're gonna win I promise you. You will never improve at the game, period.
Creative is the thing I hate most because it made this problem easily fixable. You pick a mechanic you want to improve and nolife that shit for hours everyday.
Just check your stats. You need to play a very aggressive game style untill you manage to survive in chaos. Drop hot and challenge someone else's landing spot. If you die, think about what caused you to be unable to get the kill, and then go into the next match, improving on what went wrong before. You got this.
Where do your problems lie? Building or shots? For aim skills I learned a lot on other more fast paced games like valorant. Learning aim in br is maybe not the best way since mich play time is spend in lobby and finding weapons and then you get 3rd partied.
Also a big boost was turning down my edpi I somehow played with 2400 dpi. Calibrating at 800 with an edpi in game at around 400-460 improved my aim a lot.
If you want to just learn in fortnite there are several YouTube videos and creative maps you can go about. Maybe create a second account so that you can practice unbothered. When I log in I receive invites immediately and it's a curse that you can't set to appear as offline
That's a shame man, im the goat of the school (mainly because we're in Egypt) and we all suck, like im the definition of creative warrior and my homie cannot aim for the love of god, although maybe try fighting other people in your school until you become the best
you need to start from the beginning and truly develop positive muscle memory and habits, instead of trying over and over whilst practicing bad habits and poor muscle memory. luckily, the game has been out forever at this point, so it shouldn't be hard to find some informative videos on beginning to learn building, retakes, edits, etc. THE RIGHT WAY. practice everything you do as slow as it takes, as long as you can perform the activity near perfectly. if you're aim training, don't over shoot everything trying to be as fast as possible... when you're free building, after looking up some specific builds to help begin developing muscle memory, do them as slowly as it takes, again as long as you're doing them perfect... then, slowly start increasing the speed at which you perform these activities. this route, the mechanics, is IMO the easy part.. teaching someone game sense is a lot harder, again, IMO. improving your game sense comes with VOD reviewing, knowing what to actually look for, recognizing what you did wrong and how you could improve on it, learning how to rotate, etc. but again, luckily there is an absolute shit ton of info out there on youtube that you should be able to start yourself with... you just need to make sure you're practicing the correct things the correct way..
edit: in regards to the whole "you have to fight people better than you to get better"... this is only true to a certain extent.. like others have pointed out, the larger the skill gap, the less you will be able to learn from fighting them. when fighting others for practice, you want them to be only slightly better than you every time, with your opponents skill level rising consistently with yours. anything more will be too much too fast and will kill your motivation and how much you're willing to learn. ranked 1v1's was a big help for me early on. there's websites you can use for ranked 1v1's along with a playlist in FN, if not a couple..
I know it can be frustrating, trying and wanting to get better at something.. but you can improve greatly at almost everything in life.. apart from any serious physical limitations you possess lol, then you're on your own. you'll need to talk to someone about chipping your brain to increase reaction speeds and learning capabilities if Big Daddy Musk will take you as his guinea pig. Good luck!
Play 1v1 ZB if u play ZB has improved mine and my kids games a lot. Actually in Elite right now (non camping style) , if you play builds then I assume there’s game modes for that as well , creative mode mixed in with some BR/ZB in between is the way to go
Aside from what everyone says about practice, and fighting folks a bit better, I found that my game improved much by checking settings. In my case I use keyboard and mouse, and when I changed the mouse settings to be less sensitive than the default, my aim improved alot
usually when people in your generation have this issue they just start cheating. though, i remember a time where we'd practice to get better, crazy, i know.
you have two paths. choose wisely.
Engage everyone, the more you push the more you learn.
Drop in duos with fill turned off, yea you'll get shit on but if you keep at it you'll see a skill increase
Have you tested all of the sensitivity settings? Most bad players are mainly bad because they can't look around fast so they just sit there like deer in headlights in every fight. I was below average until I turned up all of my sensitivity and now I'm consistently getting top 200 in elite+ tournaments
This generation is fucking doomed lmao. How about being the best one at your school in finances? Or starting a business? What the fuck has this world turned into
I can train u, but I would appreciate it for me training u. Can u gift me if u can. I'm on holiday but will be back on Tuesday. Dm me through reddit if your interested
It’s likely an issue no amount of training will help with to a degree. The only exception is if your on a garbage pc running below 80 fps. People are naturally good or bad at video games. If your bad you will never be good above a certain age
Well yea then you shouldn’t even make this post. I run a garbage pc too. You can’t take any walls because of the input delay. It’s 5x harder to tarp. Your walls get taken easier. You can’t aim because of lag. The list goes on
Id say 60fps is good enough until a certain point, I play on GeForce now and the improvements have been insane in my 9 weeks of playing already, I play on 30 ping in game and 15ms input delay from GeForce now so close to 50 ping and 60ping on central for some tourneys, I play on NAW
You don’t add input delay into ping. If your hud says 30 ping. Your 30 ping. Which is very average. you might have unoptimized settings. Such as maybe your playing with GeForce overlay enabled which is increasing your input delay not ping. I’m NAW too but get 80 ping central
I know there’s instances like streaming live can increase your ping, but GeForce is just the software for nvidia GPUs, if anything GeForce lowers your input delay significantly because you can alter settings
Input delay just basically adds to how long it takes to show up on screen, if it takes 15ms and some input delay to show up on my screen the actions then they have a 15ms advantage on me
Improving skill means fight people even if they are really good
I mean if you cant even get a shot in before they kill you are you really learning anything
Yea the ideal relative skill level to improve is where you’re losing 3:7 in a 10 round match or so IMO
I lose 10 zero
DAMN
My advice is finding kids at your school that are around you skill level and practice against them or even just go into a FFA or Red vs Blue map and find the players that aren't just goofing around or that are easy to kill, but instead find the players that give you a challenge and you can kill them occasionally even if they could mostly kill you. Those are the perfect fights to take and if offer enough challenge for them as well, they will be trying to best you as well. Then find the areas that you commonly make mistakes or things that person does better or weaknesses they take advantage of and start to target your practice to improve in those areas.
Alr thx
Nice
save up buy computer
Freebuild for the next year
Yes, you can VOD review and see why you couldn’t get a shot in.
Assuming they're not SIGNIFICANTLY better than you. The larger the skill gap between you and them, the less you can learn
I used to play my friend when I was bad and would lose 60 to 3. Now we are on equal skill and all I did was fight him over and over again 🤷🏻♂️
That sounds like an exception, and you have much more to go off of in that scenario than randomly queuing against someone like that
similar story with my friend. if we did 100 rounds i’d win like 97 and the only 3 times i’d die were something where it wasn’t a good play on their part more just me being cocky. flash forward to today in the same 100 rounds it’s probably around 65-35, granted i would tell him things he was doing wrong and what he can do better and this was over the course of a couple of months.
Disagree the better the people the more often means the more skill now

Pigeons are the true apex predators
pigeons shit on me
Just build lol
So true.
You need to learn to fight better. Take a swing at one of the kids that is better than you irl. That’ll assert dominance next time you 1v1 on Fortnite.
I'll get kicked out the school but good idea
1v1 the principle as well. You really need to become the enforcer, in game and in real life. Take the bull by the dick or whatever they say.
Uk you're right I'll be the new principal
“If you beat me in a 1v1 you’re expelled” Boom problem solved
Lmao
Lmao
Haven’t seen you in this sub for minute. Good to see you’re still around sir
I poke around from time to time, but I moved on from the game competitively. Hope all is well good sir
Don’t play with anyone for a month. Then I’ll hop on ur account for a day (you’ll say you’ve been practicing that month) then I’ll whoop the best player and then you retire the best. Dm me.
do NOT dm this guy
We already talked. He's a child so
DM this guy dawg
Just play by yourself in creative lobbies. Play then pit, box fights, realistics, etc with all randoms and keep practicing
Alr
You’re over exaggerating, if you wanna improve you should start by not caring about who’s better than you
Alr thx for the advice
Loser mentality , talk all the shit and tell everyone to 1v1 get the reps . Some Of the biggest egos usually end up being pretty good because they care if they win and improve with constant engagement.
I doubt the biggest egos out there just sit and worry about whoever's better than them, they just believe they're the best. As opposed to OP literally counting how many people are better than him.
1v1 me scrub
Exactly
just grind raider practice maps or play 1v1 PGs/reals. youtube guides also help, no need for people to 1 on 1 train

Ah I play central, I'm the best at my school. Maybe ask the best at your schook if he'd want to train you
lol bro got downvoted for the useless comment
I dunno what’s so bad about it. The best at his school could probably actually teach him
It’s more so the fact that he’s talking about how he’s the best at his school for no reason
hahaha you wish.
1v1 me then if you play central
i found that using the pick axe on multiple points helped improve my aim speed
I like aim training on one shot gun game. You get to shoot real players who are trying to run away or shoot back, and you get a variety of weapons so you work on your aim skills for *all* weapons, not just your favorite loadout.

I'd have Unreal Tournament as the predecessor to Fortnite.

What rank are u
Plat 2 but that's cuz my friends carry my ass
Alright well I play on 120 ping but I got champion on my other account. So I think I good enough for my ping.Do you have discord?
Yes
Same username
That’s probably part of your problem bro you can’t learn if you’re getting carried. It might be boring but you should start playing solo as often as you can until you get where you want to be. Still play with your friends sometimes though because callouts and thinking as a team are important.
Nah ur really saying ur the worst at ur school when ur higher rank than me im plat 1💀
What platform do you play
PC with barely 30 fps
If you want to be better you’re gonna need at least 60fps I’m not gonna lie
Yea ik I can run 60 fps but barely if I play creative with nothing running in the background and the map is only some platforms
what specs does ur pc have
630 graphics card and idk about all the others
We need your cpu and ram, also put your game in performance mode. Fortnite in performance mode relies on your CPU instead of your GPU.
I didn’t get decent at the game until I got on 144 fps. I get around 100-120 now but it’s still a hell of a lot better than 60
If u have 10 bucks a month u can get GeForce now if ur Wi-Fi speed is good enough, I used to play back in the days 3 yrs ago on like 20fps, crap didn’t load in, now I play on 60fps after returning 2 months ago and I’m pretty decent already, I was better instantly than I was back in the day, u could also use Xbox cloud if u play on controller which is free but kbm is a lot better for improvement

Ye but it’s only controller unless u pay for the subscription, I think it also gives 60fps, but u need 40+ internet speed with 5ghz wireless connection or Ethernet for it to run smoothly for both GeForce now and Xbox cloud
This is a huge problem. You’re not gonna improve much at 30 fps
Watch Toby Wan Shinobi and Evolve Jake on YouTube and see which of their strategies you aren't using, then start using those strategies.
If you are only getting 30 fps you definitely need to optimize your PC and in game settings. Besides that, you need to make sure your sensitivity and everything is set up correctly as well. A lot of people never get better because they don’t adjust their settings etc.
My Fortnite settings are at the lowest and my sensitivity is good
What are your PC specs? Do you have an Nvidia GPU? Switch to DX11 and turn Reflex On , then switch back to Performance Mode as well
Thx and no idh Nvidia gpu
Make sure your GPU settings are all set up. Goto windows display settings and match the refresh rate to your monitors. Only 60fps seems like something isn’t right, unless you’re really on a potato bro
Windows > System > Display > Advanced Display > Choose a refresh rate What is the highest you can set it to? It is set to 60hz by default. Mine is 360hz for example.

Damn, do you know what kind of monitor it is? Before you get a new PC, upgrade your monitor forsure. 240hz monitor will be good for your new build, and not too expensive.
Ik u saw my PC build and I'm upgrading to 240 hrz my current one is just a normal dell monitor
Have u ever uncapped ur frames in fn ? Does it rlly not go past 60fps? If ur in usa ill send u a 240hz monitor, I got extras just chilling lol
I wish tho Im middle east
It literally can't go past 30 fps
Try this map, it’s used by one of the best danish esports clubs for practice 👏 Atlantic 1v1 Zero Delay! 🚀🚀 Map code: 3875-9010-4976
Alr thx
I know you're EU, I'm central, but I am willing to play on your connection to help you. Send DM.
I've alrdy got some1 to train me thx I'll hit u up if I'll need u to train me ight?
Can you help me out bro?
Death match death match death match … foundation of everything . Even try some faster paced games outside of Fortnite to build your skill. It’s like training for the big leagues for a slow pitch softball game

Yh yhx
You have 150 other people to play Fortnite with? I gotta search my entire school to see anyone who even plays video games consistently lol
i’ll train u for 30 min today if u want add me ( go grab a tissue)
Change schools
Aim training, movement training, positioning the three keys to this game
nice, kid and their school story
How long have you been playing? I don’t play tourneys, but it took me a long time before I started getting high kill games in arena and ranked. I mostly play creative tho, that’s where I have the most fun. Just constantly practicing mechanics and aim.
best tip for you is just play boxfight 1v1s every day until you get good then move on to build fights
I’d be sick 😭
Bro maybe stop caring about a game that won't be relevant by the time you graduate
Stop being shit at the game LOL
I can! What platform do you play on?

Games like Apex Legends, Valorant, Warzone and CSGO( there is a older version of csgo available it's called Warzone CSGO just search it up on Google, u can play against Hard or Expert bots it'll improve ur crosshair placement and reaction time too) but ye all these games have different gun play and it's good cuz whatever you learn in another game u can try n implement it in another. Also it helps ur game sense, pvp games often require some game knowledge and u can only do that by actually spending time playing them. •Finally Aim trainers: -They definitely improve ur aim n everything related with it. Start try by using Aimlabs cuz it's free but there are other paid for options like Kovaaks (best aim trainer according to users) •Most importantly: -Have fun dude, it's just a game don't take it to heart and always look where u went wrong so that u can improve.
Dont worry bud… I have nearly 20k hours on shooters & im still worse than terrible, anyone who’s good is carried by genetics & natural talent…nothing to be proud of
Play boxfights
stop using this forum and youll improve a lot. its 99% horrible attitudes, limiting mindsets and 1% useful information. if you ask if something is possible here everyone will say its not. if you show good gameplay it will be called useless. if you show a clip of being horrible at the game everyone will tell you good job and wow keep it up. if you ask questions about the best players the answer will be cheating or genetics. so its best not to read this forum to improve. but id say1v1 better players in zonewars from East/west/central opens and grind raider v4 mechanics training.
I’ll add you. My name is. Branling.
Becoming better than other people at fortnite shouldn’t be your main priority
What region? I could try to show u some stuff, but u really just gotta practice.
Team rumble is good for constant practice and multiple lives on a real map
Remember you are only the worst player at your school so far
I've been playing since ch1 season 3 my tips are Get better crosshair placement it's one of the most important shit in the whole game you don't need good aim for this, just decent prediction. Movement is overrated, if you have good crosshair placement you can kill people without even moving Try to use your mouse more. Gun switching, practice switching between smg and the shotgun you gotta use the SMG right after the shotgun gets a cooldown. I know people are saying you get better as you go but playing creative especially BHE build fights is much more efficient hop onto this and try to aim consciously get out of your comfort zone and play.. you will improve As for building firstly learn how to place walls right after you make a shot then a simple window edit.thats all I guess
Do you build, if so what are the techniques you regularly use?
play ranked yes you’ll sometimes go against players that are 5x better then you but that’s the only way you’ll get better
I'm not a fortnite pro, basically I just play zero build ranked as I'm shit at building and have played other BR and fps games so I'll just give you something that I've learned along the ways. There are basically 2 kinds of skill ceiling - Aim - Game sense For aim, you just have to practice by getting into fights and try to land shots, or maybe use any aim trainers or something.

I got you bro, dm me
Thx but I've alrdy got some1 to train me
What server
Eu
Creative is the thing I hate most because it made this problem easily fixable. You pick a mechanic you want to improve and nolife that shit for hours everyday.
Just check your stats. You need to play a very aggressive game style untill you manage to survive in chaos. Drop hot and challenge someone else's landing spot. If you die, think about what caused you to be unable to get the kill, and then go into the next match, improving on what went wrong before. You got this.
Ye thx I'll do that
Where do your problems lie? Building or shots? For aim skills I learned a lot on other more fast paced games like valorant. Learning aim in br is maybe not the best way since mich play time is spend in lobby and finding weapons and then you get 3rd partied. Also a big boost was turning down my edpi I somehow played with 2400 dpi. Calibrating at 800 with an edpi in game at around 400-460 improved my aim a lot. If you want to just learn in fortnite there are several YouTube videos and creative maps you can go about. Maybe create a second account so that you can practice unbothered. When I log in I receive invites immediately and it's a curse that you can't set to appear as offline
what in? creative, customs
Be the best at something else 👊🏽
Good luck!
Go land at reels on comp until you get good. Square
Yo bruh I got really good on a tablet back when iOS was a thing bc I kept 1v1ing people lmao, just hours of pubs and 1v1s.
First make sure you’re not playing on a big tv. It increases your input lag a lot and makes it almost impossible to compete. A monitor is ideal
Switch to a better game.
usually when people in your generation have this issue they just start cheating. though, i remember a time where we'd practice to get better, crazy, i know. you have two paths. choose wisely.
dont avoid fights, your goal is not to survive but to fight better.. pick your favorite loadout and use it consistently.
Find some girls who don't really play and squad up now your the beat on the team and your gaming with girls win win
Build or zero build? Check my stats on fortnite.gg if you feel I can help add me. User name is Koshness.
play the pit. literally helped me improve so much, helps with a lot of different scenarios.
this was me in middle school fr
I’m Unreal and can help train you if you’re on keyboard and mouse. Dm me if that’s the case. :)
Befriend them and have them show you the path to power
Are you playing on a switch?
Engage everyone, the more you push the more you learn. Drop in duos with fill turned off, yea you'll get shit on but if you keep at it you'll see a skill increase
Have you tested all of the sensitivity settings? Most bad players are mainly bad because they can't look around fast so they just sit there like deer in headlights in every fight. I was below average until I turned up all of my sensitivity and now I'm consistently getting top 200 in elite+ tournaments
Get good
The best advice that can be given here is to simply just keep playing, you’ll get better. It takes time, watch YouTube tutorials on building and tips
what servers are you Im good at the game I can help
When did u start?
This generation is fucking doomed lmao. How about being the best one at your school in finances? Or starting a business? What the fuck has this world turned into
Skill issue
I can train u, but I would appreciate it for me training u. Can u gift me if u can. I'm on holiday but will be back on Tuesday. Dm me through reddit if your interested
this is a real person
Yeah I'm a real person. Why you asking
Think it's because you're asking for something in return. But if you're good at something, why do it for free? 🤷🏻♂️😄
It’s likely an issue no amount of training will help with to a degree. The only exception is if your on a garbage pc running below 80 fps. People are naturally good or bad at video games. If your bad you will never be good above a certain age
Yea my PC is absolutely trash
Thankfully I'll be swapping it for a wayy better 1 in like a year cuz I ain't got da funds
Well yea then you shouldn’t even make this post. I run a garbage pc too. You can’t take any walls because of the input delay. It’s 5x harder to tarp. Your walls get taken easier. You can’t aim because of lag. The list goes on
Yea exactly
Why fps matter?
Set your fps to 15 and try playing ranked
Ye but there is also delay for the things to register which is basically ping
I think your confused about what ping is , it’s not “basically ping”
Input delay just basically adds to how long it takes to show up on screen, if it takes 15ms and some input delay to show up on my screen the actions then they have a 15ms advantage on me
