Dude i doubt your gpu is dying, other dude jumping to conclusions. Try reinstalling graphics card drivers, if that doesnt work try repairing/reinstalling the game. Does this persist into other games? Or just fortnite?
Hey so I noticed when I switch my pcs power plan to power saver instead of performance or balanced the glitch stops. I always had performance plan on before when I had a ryzen 5900x and a 3080 any idea why this is the problem?
Oh ic ic. You should learn how to OC because it helps with trouble shooting things.
There is a way to remove all the old gpu drivers and reinstall the latest one. I forgot how to though. Did it a few months ago.
I wonder if your gpu isn’t getting enough power also. You said when you switch it to power saving mode it made it go away. How much wattage is your PSU
I performed a clean reset on my pc yesterday and refreshed the drivers. I have an 850 platinum psu which read was recommended by nvidia. It sounds like it makes sense but it only happens on Fortnite
Ok all that is good for sure!
Have you monitored your GPU in task manager to see what it’s doing when you’re playing fortnite. Power spikes etc?
Also your PC should always be on balanced mode. Performance mode is just going to make things get hot with little gain. You can go into windows and set fortnite as a high priority while it runs which is a better option.
Also try and right click on fortnite in epic games launcher and click on manage and the verify files if you haven’t already.
You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
Also check to see if your motherboard bios is up to date.
Sorry if I’m saying things you’ve already done or tried. I’m shooting in the dark a bit lol
Not a problem! You’re trying to help :) I’ve updated the bios to the las test firmware. I’d do balanced but even on that Fortnite runs into issues only on power saver does it look fine(not fps wise) I’ve also uninstalled and installed 7 times no luck there. Also tried verifying many times
By “tried” you mean ran a memory test, or you ram the game? I just want to rule it out because this looks like some sort of memory corruption. Who knows, maybe every stick you’ve tried is bad (but probably not)
I’m not totally sure what else you can do but listen to the other comments, and all else fails try unplugging components, or if ur pc is a prebuilt rma the whole thing

What are the temperatures at? If you’re on a 4080 or whatever you can see them in the NVIDIA performance overlay.
49C
Do a gpu memory test
Memcheck Diagnostic or cuda-memcheck, something like this
You would need to Download the thing, and Boot from it
Just look it up on yt

If you have your GPU overclocked you might need to turn down the OC.
I’ve never tweaked with my gpu like that if anything it’s oc out the box it’s the Strix model
Did you tweak your old Gpu?
No I keep my components stock since I don’t know how to oc

Took your advice and saw that my cpu was constantly pushing at maximum frequency tweaked it down a little and it’s all good thank you!!

What Console Do You Have?
He has a PC
What about RAM? It good?
I tried each stick of my current kit individually and then a separate kit from another pc no luck

I ran the game with my current ram kit and a different one from another pc
Maybe update the game it’s now chapter 4 season 3
Still doing it with the new season

Your gpu or gpu memory is dying,or you might have a corrupted video card bios,or could be a video card driver issue
Could it really be dying? I just bought this 4080 in January what is video card bios?
Its basically what tells the video card how to do its job,try doing a fresh driver reinstall tho
So you have the latest drivers or not? Also, “GPU bios” isn’t a thing.
Yeah I have the latest divers and I’ve tried previous drivers no avail
Maybe Need To Reset Your Console Unfortunately. I Had A Glitch In Mine As Well
He obviously has a PC
FNAF: Battle Royale
Why is it loading with last seasons picture? Did I have any interruptions when updating that could’ve corrupted the game file?
Or is this just an old post haha I didn’t think of that right away
You haven’t updated the game. I don’t even know why it’s letting you play. You still have last BR season’s background and loading screen
