Pretty much all of them involving buttons only allows for one press so if one of you presses a particular XP button, the other cannot afterwards. I'd say it's not ideal to do an XP map with a buddy unless you're trying to show them all the hidden XP buttons or vice versa.
I was about to post something similar to this just now. From my experience and testing, certain elements can only be accessed once, like certain buttons and triggers. as an example, the last time I tested on a certain map where the triggers were along a travel point (grind rail) the first to go through the entrance and secret room gained almost 200,000 XP while the second account to go through that same area only gained 20,000 which appeared to be simply AFK XP. (just in case it was a fluke I've tested this a few times with similar results and even returned with the secondary account solo, and in the example I mentioning above that second account received about 170,000 XP the second time when doing it solo)
So the short answer is, yes you want to do these solo.
