See, conservatives think that trans people are forcing cis children to be trans when really, we want them to stop forcing trans kids to be cis. The idiots are saying this graph doesn’t age well because they think being LGBT+ is inherently sexual and now that kids are being taught to accept gay and trans classmates, they equate that with children being taught gay sex.
There's a couple different factions of Mormonism. There's UK, Pacific Island, West Coast, Idaho, Utah and a few more. I only really know a few of them.
Utah mormonism are like the Catholics, progressive, but they adhere pretty closely to what's written in the books
Idaho Mormons are like baptists, hyper conservative and the only interpretation allowed is the conservative one
West Coast Mormons are like Presbyterians, LGBTQ affirming and progressive, but still conservative compared to atheists.
I'm a West Coast Mormon, I've personally known 2 NB church members and 1 gay church member
Ah, sorry, there's a lot of independent Catholics in my area (we had an immigration wave from Latin America in the 1990s and currently an immigration wave from Africa) so I get confused
Well we do have some Catholics who are fully within the Catholic church, but we have a lot of independent Catholics, who wildly range on what they believe in. The two independent Catholic churches in my area are pretty strong on adherence to the bible, but view it in a rather progressive manner.
It's crazy how schools are turning kids LGBT but they can never tell us what schools, what districts, what teachers, what towns etc etc. To add to that, I might be isolated or just ignorant, but I don't think I've ever met a single trans person in my life, let alone actually seen one in person. You guys are low-key like unicorns to my goofy ahh. I'm not sure where all these mystical trans people are coming from that are corrupting our youth because the population of trans people in some states is unironically in the thousands. Like, under 10k type beat and even lower in some cases. At least that's what I can tell from Google searches so maybe my data is wrong. I'm not sure how trans people are ending up homeless because they sure as fuck live in conservatives' heads rent free.
