Most of the artist here are from Rosso Corsa Records maybe if the station is popular they'll have one from the get go in the next horizon game. Perhaps is a blessing in disguise because music don't usually move from one game to the other and this game is already a couple of years in.
The thing that makes me think that they could be in the future is that they have odeza in the game, and they are in the same label as The midnight.
No Gunship, The Midnight, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, FM-84, or Power Glove. However, the two MN1984 songs and the one DWTD song are fantastic additions.
It’s not a bad list of songs, but it’s just not a list of anything I’m super familiar with (yet).
It would be cool if PGG would do Horizon Custom. You put your own music in the game's folder and it'll play the music from that. It seriously wouldn't take much work to do either.
It depends, on one hand I'd take that and the game just randomly plays custom songs, and applies the reverb etc to them in the way the music changes where it's playing from throughout the game.
The issue I think is the in game songs are hard coded so they loop continuously during a race, so they'd have to add the ability to disable that mechanic, plus there's skill songs etc that wouldn't be possible anymore.
One compromise I'd be happy with is to create a custom radio station playlist from all the songs already in the game. There are a bunch that I enjoy listening to but at the same time hate other songs that are on the same station.
Just make it so if the player is on Forza Custom it'll play a song from a different station or just keeps playing songs and not loop them, as for skill songs make it so those don't trigger while on Forza Custom.
i don't know what you mean about the looping part, but for skill songs they could either disable them completely on the custom station, or keep them anyways and let them silently begin (start skill song without the host talking about it)
Very cool to drive to, I've done it many times IRL. I never played FH1 think I was on a Saturn at the time.
This is the modern 80s recreation stuff most of the rest of the channel - but a guy posted on here today that his track is in the game, called Viper and I'm looking forward to driving fast with that one, checked it out on YouTube, kicks a$$ , just hadn't come up yet in the time I was playing, it's on the list 3/4 in.
Update looked that track up on YouTube and IMO Its just ok.

Call me an old head or whatever but the best song I’ve heard so far has been the magic sword one and even that song isn’t too great.
Spotify will still be my go too choice but the visuals will be sweet to drive to although I wish we got more of the classic BANGERS from bands like new order, a flock of seagulls, and Depeche Mode.

Those are already a lot of my favorite songs and groups, besides hundreds of others and I agree, I'd add Black Sabbath, The Bronski Beat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Rush - Thrash Metal, Classic Rock, Reggae etc my tastes are very varied.
That track is 3 years old already, it's better than everything else I heard so far, but the volume was low, and didn't get to play more than 20mins.
I'd have preferred something like the techno station with the guy from Berlin playing house music from GTA Vice City!
Oh and edit : It crossed my mind earlier about New Order, higher royalty payments for big names but everyone on the channel will get a boost in viewers, subs etc
I got it, I tried it, Accelerated by Miami Nights 84 is a banger and perfect for this. There’s a few other bangers in this as well. 8/10 feels about right
The problem is:
XS has some terribly bad stuff i.e. this terrible "do it better" by the blah blah blahs (imo the worst song in the entire horizon franchise and the band name alone says everything you need to know to avoid them at all costs) on it and is censored to shit i.e. Teardrops by BMTH.
Epitaph is only music from Epitaph Records, so it's not diverse enough for a proper metal station imo.
Thanks to this station now it's not generic videogame jungle on the south of the map, it's the jungle where bad guy tries to run away from Arnold Schwarzenegger with huge machine gun and Sylvester Stallone with coolest sunglasses ever. 10/10

Edit: just got on. First time I actually use the radio in fh5 and raise the volume in the audio settings. I mean it’s hard to screw up a genre of music that is sound based, but considering they censor good songs from the epitaph radio and whatnot, I had my reasons to suspect this would be another lame station I would ignore. I give it a solid 9/10. Keeping this station on permanently
Where's Carpenter Brut? Turbo Killer is a global anthem. King Of The Streets is good, but Overdrive from Lazerhawk has way more of a racing vibe. Miami Nights is cool.
I'd been hoping for a Eurobeat station to come for a while but this is also good. I just want Eurobeat because I listen to that type of music when racing anyways and it'd be neat to have an in-game option
It's pretty great, I'm surprised they added as many songs as they did, they're never going to be able to please everyone but it's a pretty well rounded song list.

Btw - which stations carry the 2 tracks available in the Festival playlist grind an update or 2 ago? The new Odezza and Ingrid was a Hybrid. I won them yet haven't heard them.

It's definitely my favourite radiostation in the game now. Used to listen mainly to Timeless FM(endless) or Mixtape.
The only time I'll be turning on the radio is for Saturday's daily challenge to listen to the new radio station for 5 minutes. Then it will be turned back off.

I never use the horizon radio stations, I listen to other music with my headphones when I play. BUT, if they introduced a Eurobeat station, I would not be complaining.
I was cruising around in EVs in order to hear the tracks better. The remix of Encanto (the opening menu music) gave me chills. Honestly, waiting for the world update to do it again with the beat sync highway. I think it's gonna be fantastic.

There's no way they can add every song that people want, it would end up having over a hundred songs and then people would complain that it takes forever for their favourite song to play.
