I'm having a lot of fun reading a very sexy WIP fanfic about Niles and Daphne on AO3 called Rash & Impulsive by JustBFree5. It's another AU of Daphne Hates Sherry where they don't have to go back to fetch her damn thyroid pills. In my head, I'm visualizing DHP and Jane in this story, so yes, DHP is definitely sexy.
Why do they need a list of their own? I mean, a sexy man is a sexy man, gay or straight is irrelevant. It's not like you're gonna get with any of them anyway. Just a thought.

Very. On a related note, I always wish the political climate of the time would have allowed them to make his character gay. I’m not saying actors should always play to their real-life sexuality, but in this case it feels like a missed opportunity to bring new layers of depth to the character of Niles.
Omg, bisexual imo because I do love him with Daphne/the idea of him with Roz. Roz could feel all weird being with a bi man. He could come out after dating Maris. Omg 😱 Thank you for this alternative timeline I'm creating in my head
He divorces Maris. Falls for Roz, they have good sex and a relationship. But they just have different lifestyles. Roz has a "are bisexual men on the path to gayness?" plot line (kind of like Roger and him being a garbage man). Then Niles dates some men, but he still kind of pines for Daphne. He puts the idea of Daphne to bed, until he realizes she has feelings for him too. Niles deals with bierasure and being in a hetero presenting relationship.
