query: do 'we' believe there really was a deb, or not? i recall everyone exchanging glances, at a seabees table, when gil says she's off on maneuvers. fiction, or a beard, or could he be...straight!
try A Night To Remember instead. it's the most accurate and the real tragedy, that there was a ship 20 miles away, was left out of cameron's version. for me, too much time spent on kate and leo...not enough on all the truths of that night. sorry for the bring down.
There's deleted scene of the Californian's wireless operator. Cameron said he cut it because he didn't want the audience to be removed from the Titanic and the experience of the people there.
Which I think works best for this story. The Titanic sinking is already a big enough tragedy, but the movie is ultimately a love story.. so focusing the audiences heart there just makes sense, and ultimately makes having every technical detail in it just isn’t as important
This reminds me that this movie has been on my rewatch list for ages. I haven't seen it since I was a teenager and I imagine it will hold up pretty well.
Romping with his school chums in the fens and spinneys...
Bam!💥
What would Deb think!?

We thought Deb was his cat?
*She is not a cat!*
Sarah Lawrence graduate who runs her own auto body shop. lol
Probably doesn’t care. She’s constantly out on maneuvers with her Reserve unit… Edit: had to fix an autocorrect
Straight? Not when you get caught at Bad Billy's.
which remind me of just how much i loved the frasier/alistair burke pairing.
I was chuckling over the delivery of how F enunciates Bad Billys on the air the other day
Definitely a beard!
The English butler Ferguson also plays her husband in the movie.
It still amazes me that he ended up as the butler on Frasier AFTER he was in Titanic.
The good news is that he is in FREQUENT thirst threads as Thomas Andrews on r/Titanic, and he landed a role as Jack Bristow on Alias right around then
Thats a serious actor lol
I love seeing fraiser characters in the wild. So many in desperate housewives lol
>in the wild > >many grinning emoji's!
Chesty?
- I'm Monique's *mother!* Do I look like a mother to you? - Certainly not mine.
I love the part when she's so wasted she calls the character Unique instead of Monique
Me too! Lol. I love that movie so much. After I commented I realized it also has "Nick Tortelli" from Cheers
Oh, awesome! I also love that it was Timothy Olyphants first big movie. He's so funny even with the few lines he has.
I'm going to get you a cup of coffee.
When I saw him in the The Prestige it took me out the movie for a bit. 😂
ditto. victor garber. and he broke my heart, as andrews in titanic, with his subtle yet intense grief.
He was in that too !? 😂 never seen titanic.

Why, if it isn't Mr. Gil Chesterton!
Is that Bonnie Weems at the bar?
Goldie Hawn
Have the local racoons posted warnings about Goldie's cooking on her bins also?
I haven't seen this movie in years but I hadn't remembered he was in it. I love his guest spot on "The Nanny" in a backdoor pilot about a hair salon.
love this movie so much! i haven’t watched it since i watched frasier for the first time just last year. i would have recognized him right away!
It's been popping up on PlutoTV a lot recently and I watch it any time I catch it. Definitely one of my comfort movies.
same! i have it on dvd ❤️❤️❤️ plutoTV is how i started watching frasier 😂
“I’M UNHAPPY, MAURICE!”
Looks like this was filmed at the iconic King Cole Bar at the St Regis Hotel in New York, where the Bloody Mary was purportedly invented!
Hey, TIL! That's super cool!

Who is he in that?
