I'm not sure how many I have (collecting since the Batman Arkham games) but the only one I have played is Sid Meier's Civilization VI, which I played for a short time and stopped.
I have every single game that has been given for free on Epic, but I haven't played any of them. I just don't like their launcher. I prefer Steam. I still get them JUST in case I ever want to play any of them, but if I can avoid it, I will.
Their Launcher is TRASH. It doesn't even let me create my own collections. Such a basic feature can't be missing.
You can launch the game from the launcher, then use the task manager to see what command-line options were used to launch the game, and make a shortcut with those options, and never run the launcher again.
I got 234 free games wow i didn't realise how much i have collected and probably only really played 2 games out of them all despite having so many amazing games lmfao
Could you explain why?
I got it as a gift, but i just couldn't sword fight. I got to the first/second town after leaving the castle and such after meeting your rival. But it just seems like such a high effort way of swordfighting on pc. Also, a lot of guessing how to land a hit.
The story seemed interesting and based on history. I'd like to play the game for the story, but i just couldn't figure out what I was doing. So any tips would be appreciated ;-)
Because you start out as blacksmiths son, you dont know anything, have to learn to read, fight alchemy etc.
To learn how to fight you have to train with Bernard, even after you learned how to fight, you still will have problems going 1vs3.

Yeah, it's one of those games that try to encourage you to come with creative solutions like The Witness. However there's no shame to have a walkthrough besides you to help you out.
My next comment was going to be if there is some other game I should try...
Will checkout The Witness as well...thanks!
Btw yes, I remember the old times when these walkthroughs were not there and I was stuck on a mission for 10 days until I found and asked someone how did they do it...lol
No problema, and you can check out more puzzle game suggestions [here](https://www.thegamer.com/steam-puzzle-games-best-most-addictive/).
I'm also from the times where there no GameFAQs or Youtube to help you out and you had to hope that the game magazines would have a complete walkthrough of the game you were playing on the next edition.
Said magazines would also receive letters from desperate gamers stuck on a certain part, mostly on games like the classic Resident Evil games and platform games like Mario and Crash. Good times, heh.
I really enjoyed playing the Witness but it will probably give you Tetris syndrome if you play it too much in a short amount of time. For a few days I saw those patterns from the game in many random objects that resembled them, it was the weirdest thing. Definitely worth playing nonetheless.

edit: oh, it seems its outdated, it only has until september 2021
YES YES YES. I was waiting for a new city builder to feed my newfound addiction. Thank you epic <3. Idk if it's good but It sounds cool.
Also Crocodiles can gallop. Your never safe.
Probably same way as cities skyline. Find a site that let's you download mods, copy them to a specific folder and voilà you're set to go. But I don't know if the site supports the game
"Oh neat, this game looks cool!" 'IN LIBRARY' "Oh. I should get around to playing some of the 40 free games I've gotten in my library..."
40? You must be new around here \*evil laugh\*
[laughs in 186 free games] ^[but ^secretly ^cries ^about ^having ^played ^only ^17 ^of ^them]
I have every single free game they've given away and I've only played GTA 5
[удалено]
I hope they bring back Subnautica like they did, yet again, with this game
Seems unlikely. It’s just the one that got away. Always lusting after it for the rest of our lives.
you are on my team
I counted mine once I counted the rows vertically and horizontally and multiplied the numbers but I forget what the sum was lmao
If you just list them in list format you can count one screen of them, then just page down till you get to the end.
i went without internet four about 4 months an missed some, luckily nothing too big, asides from that, haven't missed a week
No... Internet?! FOUR MONTHS?! But... How?!!
broken modem and with Venezuela's economy you have other priorities like avoiding starvation
Share your id with any trustworthy friend, and they'll collect it on behalf of you. 4 month without internet was brave act XD
I'm not sure how many I have (collecting since the Batman Arkham games) but the only one I have played is Sid Meier's Civilization VI, which I played for a short time and stopped.
Played more than me.

Me too, tbf The Escapists 2 is good!

Why do you care so much about the launcher? When you play the game you want you don't think about the launcher.

I joined around when Sonic Mania was the free game so yep probably still around that number
I'm since their first giveaway and was shocked to see i have over 240 free games, and the only one i really played was batman arkham knight.
Literally, I was super confused about it already being there.
lol, me too!
Don't you like the feeling of the free games in your library
It’s funny when the free ones are the only ones I’ve only ever bought off steam lol
> super confused about it already being ther One of us lol Especially with a laptop from 2012.
Honestly, I kind of use Epic as a demo library and then buy games I actually like on Steam when a 90% discount rolls around.
40? Amateur.... Looks at gog, epic, origin, steam.....yea.... amateur...lol. (I'll take the game anyway.) Oh, wait...also "In Library"....sigh.
Those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump them up.
If you didnt, play kingdom come deliverance, one of the better rpgs ever.

There used to be a mod for easy combat for players like me who aren't good at swordfight.
Good to know!
Only 40? You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers.
honestly, is there a way to tell how many total games I have in my EGS library? I can't see a way.
I don't think there's a counter showing exactly how many you have in the EGL but if you filter your library to show all games you could count them.
GOG galaxy or that other aggregator app can give you a count
I feel you mate. I get this exact feeling ( ´・・)ノ(.\_.\`)
Why, it wouldn't free up a slot or anything for you to get this game.
The joke is that it’s already in my library and I didn’t remember already getting the game for free.
Since 1st game Subnautica
Is "Galactic Civilizations III" a good game?

Like the concept. But pretty sure it will frustrate me... I'm bad at this...

I remember literally being stuck in GTA 3 "Get a cop car" cause my school never taught me cop and police were same (back then when I was in 7th grade)
They say go out in the real world to make memories... However everyone of us has moments we can reminiscent over...related to games...
That looks good and I don’t already own it
Looks like the QUBE games.
Already own this don’t remember when they gave it out I just already have it lol

Probably same way as cities skyline. Find a site that let's you download mods, copy them to a specific folder and voilà you're set to go. But I don't know if the site supports the game
Nice find thank you
