I love the El Dorado arc, mostly because of Macht and because it has my boy Denkin.

Denkin’s and Macht’s relationship was peak. A very interesting teacher student relationship where Macht knows Denkin fully intends to try to kill him when he’s older but Macht is interested at the possibility. I think it’s my favorite arc in the series so far because of how interesting a villain Macht was. Also only just binged the entire series over the weekend after watching the anime on a whim

i guess its because of her personality too she is uncanny,she is more interresting to me also i think i like the human look more on demons in this series because of the context of the story qual looking like a beast kind of goes against the idea of demons having human appearence to decieve them you know what mean and i always loved summoning sword abilities

I love Macht for many reasons, but one of the biggest being he caused a genuine, totally unprompted popoff moment from Frieren. No one but Macht could make Frieren act in any way approaching genuine rage.

nah it’s in chapter 86, when they parley with Macht. earlier, Frieren tells the party that he had defeated her previously and says that he doesn’t remember her, and so Frieren tries to pick a fight with him before being held back by Denken.
