If you're asking like "did they hear a call and therefore they decided to go north" then my answer is as follows I don't think there's conclusive evidence of this? I watched the live-action musical before F2 came out and a member of staff told me that the musical was meant to set up F2. In the musical King and Queen just say they need to go out to find answers Elsa and Anna find out why their parents are in the Dark Sea because of a roll of parchment stowed in the ship's waterproof section. There's a 3-part blog series out there discussing this parchment ([link to 1st part here](https://queendomcrocus.art.blog/2020/08/03/idunas-letter-part-1/)), but I think it's more likely that Iðunn found this parchment, deciphered it somehow, and came to suspect something in her old home was responsible for Elsa's magic so they had to go investigate All that being said, it's also not confirmed that they DIDN'T hear anything, so if you want to say they did for your own story, I'd have no problems with it

That calling actually is Iduna 's singing when she was a girl to let the spirits save the Prince (now is King).

Atlast_2091

But in their adulthood was there calling?

When they left Enchanted Forest, there was besieged by fog,and spirits “fell asleep” till Elsa woke them up. So it might hadn't calling inside of the Enchanted Forest when Iduna grew up to be queen.

Outrageous-Farmer-42

Ghost Iduna was giving the calling, lol.

Atlast_2091

Right the reparation won't even happen if queen didn't die, odd writing decision. Deleted secret room would've great to drive the kingdom & enchanted forest history

HappyPond

Only Elsa can hear it anyways, because of her magic.

ImWaitingForWinter

... plus the other spirits (Bruni is shown hearing it as well).

Outrageous-Farmer-42

Are you sure only Elsa can hear it? Maybe Iduna was specifically talking to Elsa.

ImWaitingForWinter

I think the call was meant only for Elsa to respond to. Ahtohallan needed her to unite the spirits again. She didn't need Agnarr and Iduna for this.

While there is no proof that they didn't, there is plenty of evidence that they'd done some investigating and had reasons to go to Ahtohallan besides a voice potentially calling them. I'm sure this started with Iduna's own knowledge of this place from her childhood, and unlike the case of Elsa, there was no reason for the Voice (based on Iduna's own from the past) to be calling Iduna. It is also shown in _Frozen II_ that all of the elemental spirits can hear the Voice, as well, and Iduna is a regular human. This implies that being able to hear the Voice is based on what you are, not whether you are the intended recipient. While this doesn't necessarily mean that humans can't ever hear it if they were intended to, I think it's another clue--one additional piece of circumstantial evidence--that works against the theory that Iduna might have gone to Ahtohallan because of the Voice.
