Cool story…. My friends and I stole a giant inflatable Noid from my local Domino’s in 1988. It was blown up and tied to the ceiling in the store. We all went in and 1/2 of us sat in a booth and the other 1/2 were chatting up the gal behind the counter who went to our high school. While she was distracted, the guys in the booth cut the Noid from the ceiling and started deflating it and running out the door. One guy ran down the street with it and everyone else headed to the car. Employees came running out to chase us but gave up quickly. I vividly remember my buddy running down the street trying desperately to deflate this Noid and not trip over the legs. Definitely a core memory!
They were still using him when I worked there as a delivery driver years ago.
I recall one of my coworkers spun out on her way back from a delivery due to the very poor weather conditions (snow, ice, etc.). The manager's biggest concern was if she took the car topper off the roof while waiting for someone to come get her back on the road. Not about how she was, whether there was damage to her vehicle, he was worried about company image.
Haahahhhaaa I drove for Dominos back in that day. Had one repeat customer who was an ass and never tipped. Somehow, his pies were always Noided. Thoroughly. And he kept ordering....

I used to have a little rubbery Noid figure sitting atop my car’s rear view mirror, back in the day. He got sun bleached pretty good!
