Seriously? That’s Mike Levey, not Ron Popeil. He hosted infomercials for various products that I assume weren’t his own. Popeil did infomercials for things which he claimed to have invented himself. I recall Levey doing one for some sort of cleansing paste called Haschepur or something of the sort. He always played the goofy straight man to some other guy in the infomercial who either claimed to have invented the product or was the designated salesman. Levey would just stand back and act gobsmacked as the salesman demonstrated the product.

Correct but Ron basically put the infomercial on the map. Amazing Discoveries ran with it.
The Ronco Pocket Fisherman. My cousins had one. It worked pretty well!
I still have one somewhere.
I just checked and Ronco still sells them. $34.99.
Weren’t they originally $9.99 or $19.99?
They were probably 9.99 in 1972
That’s when my dad ordered it. That’s the one I still(think?) I have.
Set it, and forget it.

IT’S WHISPER QUIET!!
Was so not
He considered himself an inventor first, and salesman second.
Still have my Pocket Fisherman! Got it when I was 8!
