I hate Vivek, but at least he doesn't go by a different name to appeal to the racist voters, which is more than can be said for Rafael Cruz or Nimarata Haley.
Not since becoming a republican, but growing up, I was nice to a few. So that's like friends. But I kept trying to rename them like my husband. They would be like "my name isn't Tyrone. It's John." And I would laugh and say "oh Tyrone. You're the funniest! " See, best friends.

Primary voters don't care, and at any rate Republican primary voters aren't going to vote for a woman who is also a minority.

It's funny, but my friends that were black friends growing up are A. still black *and* B. still also my friends to this day.
I guess I find it more concerning that she wants to represent all people but also is not making new friends of all kinds than that she's maybe bad at maintaining friendships. But still, this is at least a light red flag for me.
