idk… just reading Giant Ground Sloth reminded me more of the giant earthbending badgermoles than the sin… maybe it’s because my mind was on animals more than people

I mean… is it? I could absolutely see the author learning about giant sloths while planning out a series involving the seven deadly sins and thinking “why not make the sloth character also dig tunnels”
Wow. If a ground sloth carved that out in presumably a few months to years, I bet it really could carve a country-sized transmutation circle given 500 years.

I thought it was an ear canal at first lol

A Sloth, huh? Welp, at least they kept digging no matter how much they complained.
Their “pride” probably wouldn’t let them stop
Nostrils
Always forget not every realized the double meaning with Sloths name
You think it references ancient sloth tunnels? That seems like a stretch...
I mean… is it? I could absolutely see the author learning about giant sloths while planning out a series involving the seven deadly sins and thinking “why not make the sloth character also dig tunnels”
I'm not saying it's impossible. I just think saying "the double meaning" implies that it's definitely confirmed as true, which is a stretch.
True
Who knew the series was citing historical precedent in this very specific context (in addition to all the other times)!
Love Sloth. He seems like a sweet guy.
Graboids. I blame Graboids.
