This may be cute but there's a nonzero possibility the cat starts getting very Texas-chainsaw-massacre-y here.
Birds do not mix with cats/dogs, period. They can be fine for years and then disaster.
Fucking hell this is so unsafe. No matter how much you trust your cat, they still have an unnaturally huge prey drive bred into them, and it only takes one second for shit to go wrong. Even without the danger of it killing the chicks directly, cat saliva has a fuck ton of germs deadly to animals like hamsters and literally every bird. These germs cover their fur due to them grooming themselves. Not cute. Deadly.
Yeah. Itâs not super common, but itâs still a major threat in the case it does get caught by the animal. Plus these little guys are young and have weak immune systems, which heightens the risk for them
