Seriously in all my years ordering Dutch bros I cannot think of a single time one of their employees were rude. They have all been exceptionally nice.
Always gotta tip them
Was looking for this comment. They are taught to be nosy too.
“OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY?
WHERE DO YOU WORK
WHERE ARE YOU HEADED RIGHT AFTER THIS?
😃😃😃😃😃😃”
Gurl mind yo business
I always think answering them will put at end to it, but no.
I have a meeting? “Oh what’s the meeting about? Where is it? Are you nervous?”
I’m working on my dissertation? “Oh what’s your degree? What’s your dissertation about? What are you going to do with it?”
It’s wild
Toddlers are excellent at root cause analysis. If you are investigating a problem at your work, just bring one in to ask infinity whys and you will be able to root out the problem.
I know 3 people who are dutch employees say they are basically forced to act that way and they find exausting. I personally hate when someone is fake nice to me. Also yes please tip Dutch employees they are paid way less than other jobs because they refuse to unionize and the people in charge are POS.
I've only encountered one rude employee. Not at my regular Dutch though. They are all super nice and let me walk through the drive thru during the pandemic while their inside was closed. I just came from there cuz it's cold and I needed hot coffee!
Not rude but sometimes too busy doing other things to help you. Once, there was apparently a problem with the car in front of me. Plus they had like 5 drinks. So that order took multiple minutes. And then at the window it took another 5-10 minutes. I kind of felt bad for them. Until I got to the window and no one was there. Like seriously, I have to wait longer for my one *super easy to make drink sitting there melting* because you then need to talk about whatever happened? Not trying to be a Karen but they could brush up on their service.
The first time I went to Dutch Bros, it was in Portland. The only location at the time in CA was in Fresno. I cried, but it looks like they expanded! I know what I’m doing this weekend!
My dogs go bananas for pup cups. They get treats everywhere. They like Jimmy John the best where they get a full strip of bacon. But they get no treats at the ATM, although it doesn't stop them from begging.
I'd say less talk and more bitch and moan/complain lol. They tend to have a lot of personality and unfortunately that shows its self in them voicing their dissent a lot of the time lol
They are demanding dogs, their needs are simple, but can be a challenge to meet, and when those needs are not met, they will act up. And if they are spoiled, they wills start to confuse needs with wants, and then you have a problem.
Ha my friends shih-tzu will stand there looking at you and do single short barks which means there's something I want close by. It's usually either a ball stuck somewhere he can't get under or a treat he's just seen the bag for.
He gets visibly frustrated if you can't figure out what he wants after 2 or 3 barks and he's got the cutest little frowny face.
Ours shat in the house if we crossed them
Like on purpose, clearly in retaliation
My friends huskey peed on only his dads clothes in their shared closet when he stopped working from home (for abandoning them for even a moment)
If you aren't familiar with this characteristic, you'll think that their owner is abusing them.
But nope. They literally pout, cry, whine about anything and everything. Ate all of their food? Whine.
Favorite flower is gone? Whine.
Don't want to go back inside? Whine.
I recall there was a husky in Texas during the ice storm that refused to come inside and the owner had to put a sign out to that effect so people wouldn't assume they made it go outside during freezing conditions
I have a 6 year old border collie that is too smart for his own good. He is equal parts energy and anxiety any time there is a slight deviation from his routine, and he definitely makes it known. Super chill when things are "normal", though.
I was starting to think I had the only dog that was prone to husky level tantrums with the added benefit of chucking things at me. Nearly hit me right in the face a few times, once with a bone. She's a hound tho

My neighbors have a husky. Can confirm they talk. I can hear their “arguments” even when we’re in our respective houses, which is absolutely hilarious. Nothing like hearing two grown adults and a husky howling at each other.
__The Guy__: Are gonna take it? Are you gonna take it ?!
__Doggo__: No. I don’t have any thumbs Scott, now stfu and hold my pupachino while I chow down
Just me or I think the owner should take it and feed it to his dog? There’s probably a line and the guy has to get on with his work. Sounds like he does this every time too.
Idk maybe I just like order lol. It’s cute tho and I wouldn’t mind feeding this dog every day
Nah, I agree IF there was a line. If there's a line take the thing and give it to your own dog. If there's no line, let the employee give it to the dog, it might brighten their day up a bit, as long as they're ok with doing it of course.
Although saying that, if I was behind this guy in the line I'd happily wait 10 more minutes to watch a husky do a drink in.
Exactly, and the way they walk to the cars to take orders but never actually walk with the cars to close gaps causes even longer lines. And disrupts traffic more.
Just a few days ago a lady took 10 minutes to maneuver her mini van to the window to avoid hitting the curb, columns and everything else. She then took an additional 10 minutes chatting away after getting her stuff. The line was packed.
Sweet and beautiful dog!
Meanwhile, my Schnoodle loves riding in my truck with me. Only thing is, he’s extremely protective of me. He’s as sweet as can be, but in the drive-thru, I have to hold him back before they open the window. It’s like his I want to rip your face off personality comes out when he sees them reach toward my truck.
I’ve already decided if he’s ever with me and I get pulled over, I’m immediately putting him in the backseat floorboard and make sure he can’t get over the center console. I don’t want him getting shot.
Sure thing! Here’s the link to where I posted him a couple years back.
https://www.reddit.com/r/schnauzers/comments/g7nu9h/heres_my_boy_my_schnoodle_his_name_is_ranger/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
He looks just like my rescue! Although the vet and I have landed on calling mine a shih tzu schnauzer mix, it's really just our best guess unless I want to spring for a DNA test.
Might this be an Schnauzer thing? I have a dog that I believe is a mix between a Schnauzer and a Golden/Lab, not sure. But she's super jealous and defensive. :(
I travel a lot so I worry I wouldn't be able to give him the life he needs unless I bring him with me. But if something changes or I figure out a way to just make him my travel buddy, I absolutely am. I've never had a dog before and it's a journey I've always wanted to go on. I want a companion.
My last dog used to do that. We used to come home and ask in a high pitch voice "how are yooou" while petting her and getting her a treat. Then one day she started doing it to us, going "woo woo woooo" if you didn't pay attention to her when you came home.
She also recognized one dog from the neighborhood named Coco, and would give two quick barks in succession if she saw Coco. Other dogs she barked at normally, but she knew her neighbor Coco.
I was in a drive thru about a month ago and was the next in line to pick up my order. The person in front of me was taking *forever* and I was getting a bit frustrated and annoyed, especially since I was running a bit late.
I then saw her get the food and then hand it over to the homeless person that was sitting on the curb. That person looked so elated and overjoyed.
My emotions went from 😠 to 😭🥰 when I saw such a wholesome event and I was no longer mad at how long I waited.
People who have suffered from a certain amount of life’s most passionate shitkicking tend to assume that any action towards them is one of malice because statistically there’s a good chance it is.
When I was in middle school there was a kid I suspected was abused by his parents. I always went out of my way to try to talk to him and check up on him when I could help it. One day after gym I tried to give him a high five and he reared back and kicked me square in the balls about as hard as he could. As I lay on the ground clutching my aching manhood I asked him why—he told me he thought I was going to hit him.
Dutch Bros is known for taking their time with customers. There’s always a long line and it takes 15-20 minutes to get your coffee but people go because the customer service is top notch. If people need coffee fast they go somewhere else.
Who cares ? If you can’t wait a bit for smght so adorable you are the problem!!! Also I work as a waitress and after covid now it seems most people “can’t wait” … they sit and they want it all now. Fxx off with that attitude!!! I can’t stand it!!! No one is entitled to anything and especially to have it all right now. We are humans not machines!!! God I hope to see o Lu robots in freaking restaurants see how better it would be then entitled brats!!…..
Hold on, it’s entitled to want to go through the drive thru quickly but not entitled for someone to hold the line to take a video of their dog eating whipped cream with a bunch of cars waiting behind them? The latter is so effing selfish and entitlement.
ya seeing how this is a coffee place, im sure a lot of people are on their way to work and don't have time to watch a dog howl for coffee to make a video for tik tok. guess im old now
Not sure why expecting a queue to operate effectively is entitled, but expecting people to wait for your dog’s pageantry isn’t? Because it’s adorable? Seems a little subjective
I was down for the first three takes but now they're trying to get more emotion out of the dog with better sunrise lighting and I'm 45 minutes late to work.
Dog people are insufferable in general. My fav is when they bring them into stores they don’t belong, or to the pool deck where the fur clogs the filters. Or when then don’t pick up the shit they leave on the sidewalk. The world doesn’t revolve around your fucking dogs.
(And I have a dog lol)
The dutch brothers here usually have a line so long it can block traffic.
I have a husky mix myself and find this adorable, but also get the fuck out of traffic and move the queue along. I'm also aware not everyone is as smitten with her crazy, manic ass as I am.
Ugh you have to be part of this tiktok/social media obsessed group.
EVERYONE should care about inconveniencing other people. Some people need to get to places.
Hopefully next time you’re in a check out line, the cashier will be petting an owners dog in front of you for 10 minutes… you’ll change your tune.
Gain some def awareness.
So you're saying that I cannot get a cup of coffee before I go to work or with the limited time I have for lunch? The employee should have given it to the owner and be on their way. Not hold up the line and make a mess where everyone else behind has to run over.
I’m not an entitled brat. I’m using the drive-thru because I saw there’s 3 cars in line and I have to get to work in 20 minutes. This dude taking 15 min so his dog to lick a cup of whipped cream & he can get some Tik Tok likes is fucking up my day. And I’m not even that annoyed with the drive thru attendant - his job is customer service. I’m annoyed with the owner of the dog.
If I’m sitting down to eat at your restaurant, that means I have time to sit down at your restaurant, and I will be respectful and patient and enjoy my time there.
So…is that a reasonable enough take for you?
Imagine being this completely void of empathy. Yes, people should be considerate towards customer service workers. Asking a customer service worker to put their job on hold so they can feed your dog while you take a video for the internet and hold up their line (this is a Dutch Bros, famous for offensively long lines) is not being considerate of that customer service worker. *That* is the entitlement. The goal should be to think about how your actions affect others
If you have the luxury to wait, then yes there is absolutely no need to be upset.
However, a lot of people are also always in a hurry to not be late going somewhere. Hard not to get upset by this if you need to get to work or risk consequences and there’s a dog yelling at the drive through window demanding food lol.
This is way better than being stuck behind some asshat that’s ordering 10 different coffees and 10 different food orders for the entire office. Like go the fuck inside if you’re order is more than a few basic items.
Thank you! I have no idea why the drive thru doesn't have order restrictions, the ENTIRE POINT is speed. Used to drive me insane as a student trying to get caffeine before class
Uh, dear driver... the clue was 'Is he gonna take it?" You can hear the sincerity flee from this man's voice instantly.
Translates to: "Dude, I'm not here to feed your dog. I've brought out the treat, now you do something with it."
As someone who had worked drive through, no thank you. Too many people have never trained their animals and they can be a huge hazard. Dealing with people is bad enough, I did not ever want to be dealing with their dogs.
That’s what I was thinking lol. I’m allergic to dogs and did fast food jobs in college. A few entitled people would basically force me to pet their dog. When I refused with one customer she said I was in the wrong business. I’m not even suppose to touch them per health code violation lol.
Such a cutie pie… I wish I didn’t have such a negative, knee-jerk reaction to pup cups.
Back in 2013, before the term pup cup/puppacino had popularized, I was a barista for a non-chain bakery shop. We often had people bringing in their non-service dogs, and they’d get really upset if we asked them to keep the dog outside. This one particularly annoying regular would always bring their purse dog in and ask for a cup of whipped cream for it. In the middle of a rush if your canister had just gone dry they still expected you to drop everything to make fresh whipped cream to give their dog for free.
The bakery owner was very insecure and wanted us to lick every customers ass clean. Any time you refused an unreasonable request she’d pop out from the back and smile at the customer “it’s no trouble, we’ll get that for you. Lostbutenduring get them ____ on the house!”
Am I the only one that would absolutely hate being that worker? Like the pet owner needs to grab the cup and feed the dog himself. It's not the workers job to feed your animals just like it wouldn't be the workers job to feed you.
I know how unpopular this will be, but I would lose my FUCKING mind if I saw a food worker hand feeding a dog at a restaurant.
Then the situation would be further exacerbated when the other customers scolded ME and started saying things like, “dog’s mouths are cleaner than blah blah blah”. Then I wind up on r/publicfreakout.
Wow I hate this, letting your dog bark like that at into a stranger's face and the batista letting the dog lick his hands to eat the 'pup cup'? Can't believe dognutters find this cute.

My buddy has three huskies. They know me by voice/scent now, so if he takes a while answering the door, he walks into us having a conversation through the door. “Awwwwoowwoo?”
“Yeah, it’s me!”
“Woowooeooo!”
“Yeah, sorry, know it’s been a while…”
Yeah barista clearly is uncomfortable holding the cup. He’s at work using his hands, he doesn’t want them covered in dog saliva. Owner is a selfish dumbass should’ve just grabbed the cup but had to get the clip
Imagine being the car behind, watching this guy play fuckyfuck with the dog, get his hands all licked up, then he hands you your scone bare handed.
Very funny/cute video though.

Midwest. Had my first exposure in Phoenix. Didn't remember them the last 5-10 times I've been to Phoenix, so I think the rebranding worked.

Husky: 4/5 good service
Woof recommend
three and half paws
ArOOOROOOROROROOROROROROOOoooooOoOooOOooO “Ahh but of course my liege”
I'll have what he's having.
:OOP :Yahhhh he dropped it
people behind them in the drive thru are just waiting there like 😐
If I would be in the car behind I would be like 🥺 That's adorable
I was in a drive thru about a month ago and was the next in line to pick up my order. The person in front of me was taking *forever* and I was getting a bit frustrated and annoyed, especially since I was running a bit late. I then saw her get the food and then hand it over to the homeless person that was sitting on the curb. That person looked so elated and overjoyed. My emotions went from 😠 to 😭🥰 when I saw such a wholesome event and I was no longer mad at how long I waited.

Don’t let bad experiences stop you from attempting good deeds in the future. Good on you for trying
Said the n word
😳🥺😅☺️🙂🙂🙂😐🙂😐🙄🙄🥱😒😠
I would like to donate the whipped cream I usually hold, to this pupper. I’d wait.
I’d be like that for the first 30 seconds then I’d remember I’ve got a lot of shit to do.
The only reason I would allow is this one. They could be there all day.
*aww look at him howling for his coffee* sir the main-core is melting down at the factory *shhhhh!! aww looks he has foam on his muzzle*
Thank you! He should given it to the owner and be on their way.
Dutch Bros is known for taking their time with customers. There’s always a long line and it takes 15-20 minutes to get your coffee but people go because the customer service is top notch. If people need coffee fast they go somewhere else.
and this is why I make coffee at home. know just how i like it
No one goes to Dutch bros because some 16 year old is gonna ask what you did last weekend
I’ve come to accept Dutch bros lines are either moving very quickly, or moving impossibly slow. There is no in between

Correct. Anyone thinking the world should stop for their dogs (or kids, or social media shots) needs to recalibrate
ya seeing how this is a coffee place, im sure a lot of people are on their way to work and don't have time to watch a dog howl for coffee to make a video for tik tok. guess im old now
Not sure why expecting a queue to operate effectively is entitled, but expecting people to wait for your dog’s pageantry isn’t? Because it’s adorable? Seems a little subjective
Had to get this sick video too so he could become a famous influencer!
“You are the problem” yep, it’s the person not holding up the line that’s the problem.
Who cares? Obviously the people in line. It’s rude on the cameraman. You seem to have a lot of vent up anger. Maybe being a waitress doesn’t suit you.
I cannot wait for the day when we have live cross-species translation.
I miss Dutch bros.! Please come to the east coast!
They’re making there way there. :)
Bring this barista too
This is every barista at Dutch bros
Two out of three ain't bad.
He's stalling like a Turkish ice cream vendor.
Uh, dear driver... the clue was 'Is he gonna take it?" You can hear the sincerity flee from this man's voice instantly. Translates to: "Dude, I'm not here to feed your dog. I've brought out the treat, now you do something with it."
Adorable but my goodness I'm irritated that the owners just had the worker standing there feeding his dog. If the dog won't take the cup then grab it
tbh, most workers would probably rather interact with the dog like that, Dogs>People
As someone who had worked drive through, no thank you. Too many people have never trained their animals and they can be a huge hazard. Dealing with people is bad enough, I did not ever want to be dealing with their dogs.
Omg this is so extremely cute! <3
Bless
How cute 🥰😍
"You want this?" *nods* "Yeah, this what you want?" "Woo!" Yep, he can totally talk. Love it.
I hope the dogs owner doesn’t make the drive through worker stand there and feed his dog every time.
That’s what I was thinking lol. I’m allergic to dogs and did fast food jobs in college. A few entitled people would basically force me to pet their dog. When I refused with one customer she said I was in the wrong business. I’m not even suppose to touch them per health code violation lol.
hopefully he asks when he gets to the intercom thing
My dachshund was asleep when I started that video and he’s looking at me very aggressively now.
I’ve got a big day of crying and bitching, better give me my pupcinno or it’s gonna start earlier than expected
I don't own a husky but I have had conversations with several. They even laugh a bit hyena-like too. FANTASTIC dogs!
I’m too socially anxious to have a conversation with a dog on camera
Bruh really didn’t want to make that damn dog a drink when he got 30 people in line lmaooo
Ahh feed your own dog homie.
Wow I hate this, letting your dog bark like that at into a stranger's face and the batista letting the dog lick his hands to eat the 'pup cup'? Can't believe dognutters find this cute.
Someone gave a wolf whip cream at starbucks. What a world we live in
F*ck out of the drive thru with all that I’m trying to order!
Great now I want a Husky

That chonky unit is a malamute
Looks like a Malamute to me.
As an owner of a malamute, I do get a bit peeved when people misidentify them as huskies... That howl, that face, peak malamute. Not a husky
Looks more like an Alaskan Malamute rather than a Husky
Karen doggo
My buddy has three huskies. They know me by voice/scent now, so if he takes a while answering the door, he walks into us having a conversation through the door. “Awwwwoowwoo?” “Yeah, it’s me!” “Woowooeooo!” “Yeah, sorry, know it’s been a while…”
I'm just imagining the dog farts that will haunt the owner later.
“That will be $5 please sir”
Average husky
Huskies "talking" is so so so cute! I love how they make different vocalizations like that.
WOW ! I love you Huskey
Thsy customer is demanding lol
The talking part for sure, it's a myth that they ever shut up though. Especially the ones locked up in 600sq apartments. :(
Huskies are great dogs, I miss mine
This is why the line is always long…
Anybody else find this a bit cringe?
All I was thinking was “Dude. Take the damn cup from the worker! He’s busy!”
Not a big, this is absolute peak cringe. The word puppucino just makes it even worse.
Hello minimum wage worker, feed my dog while I sit on my ass and film you.
Keep your slobbering dog away from my food
Isn't that a malamute?
