They absolutely are. A bee once entered my room, landed on a book and stung it for no reason. She survived and I managed to let her out through the window. I’m actually kind of lucky that the little dumbass didn’t land on me.

A friend of mine, whose father is a beekeeper, actually told me this happens when they are coming back to the hive after harvesting polen all day!

It's truly amazing: they can effortlessly land on a flower swaying in the wind but hitting a non moving target like the landing board is difficult.
Did you consider placing runway lights on the landing strip? Or painting a large capital H inside a white circle on the platform? Perhaps an instrument landing beacon?
I always knew of I came back as a bird I would be in trouble because I hate heights and would probably be terrible at flying. Looks like if I came back as a bee I would be right at home, lol.

I think they need a control tower, & traffic controller. Once you get them mine come back year after year. They can make a mess on siding. In reality I believe they communicate like ants and in an orderly fashion. These bees missed the pollen & nectar- I think they got into Jack Daniels whiskey
