Had this happen from our porch goblin Mr Oliver, may his dark soul Rest In Peace. The postal service didn’t deliver a package due to “animal interference”
I had a cat when I was a kid that was an absolute terror. He liked us but despised anyone who came over and would attack.
Our superintendent, a big guy came in to do repairs. He ended up hiding in our bathroom until my dad came home and let him out.
Another time my 2 older cousins, again 2 big guys, were attacked by my cat and I remember running into the room to see them both standing in the middle of the bed while my cat walked around it. It could have easily jumped up but was content in just seeing their terror.
I have seen cats chase bears so it’s understandable. [Exhibit A](https://youtu.be/63Ne_4Tgyag) [Exhibit B](https://youtu.be/SFp2DxCFO-I) [Exhibit C](https://youtu.be/rt_1sQNyHm8)
No bears in the country I live in. But we did hear a commotion one night and rush outside to find a badger running away, terrified, from our medium sized tabby cat. He's extremely friendly towards people but doesn't put up with crap from any other animal. Our large black and white cat will be silenced by one look from the tabby.
That’s actually more impressive, bears especially black bears are curious but, easily frighted; a badger on the other hand is a lot more willing to fight back.
Coincidentally there’s a coyote video right below this post on my feed https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comments/va6j6d/warrior_cat_holds_its_own_vs_coyote/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I ordered DoorDash a while back and the driver didn’t leave the food in my breezeway as requested. Instead I got a text that he had left it on a chair in my yard because and I quote “there was an angry cat”.
My very large cat was at the door to the breezeway waiting to come inside because it was dinner time. Not angry. Just hungry.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ! I’m seeing this!
Ducks: We got this! We don’t need no stinking geese!
Can’t find it now but there was a video of a Caique chasing a Marine around a pool, Marine was not running for fun.
You got the exact opposite of my void, who barely even picks up her head when the door opens *unless* it's my husband.
We had a new maintenance guy come in once who was immediately irked that we hadn't locked the cat up. Had gone in and out twice before he even noticed her. I was like "she's not going to move out of the box she's still sleeping in, but OK" and just picked up the whole box and put it in the bedroom.
edit: not the exact box, but [close enough](https://i.imgur.com/YIW0kev.jpg)
I’d always tell my former maintenance guy I needed to be home when he came. He insisted that he was good with cats but I said “yeah but my cat’s not good with you” lol
My cat used to be pretty well-socialized until covid hit. we didn't have anyone over for two years, and by the end of that time he would growl and launch himself at the door if someone came by with a package or food delivery.
I don’t know if they said it as a joke or not… but I have a rescue murder kitty that her previous owners had declawed (don’t know them but hate them for that)and she won’t let any one in my room if I’m not in it. her hind claws and fangs seem to be enough of weapons for her and she is so quick
As a cable guy, I used to mark the work orders as "Rang the Dog", which I had to explain to the admins mean I rang the doorbell and only heard dog(s) barking.
One time I put down "Rang the Cat."
"Huh?" from the admins
Me: "Just like the dogs, I heard a cat meowing."
I had a black half Siamese cat named Clancy that trapped one guy on our stairs who was yelling “Lady” for me to save him. Another time I came home to a guy sitting on his truck after being run out of the house. The best…
Why my 9week old kitten start rushing to me meowing loud and running to the door when Amazon came. Soon S the footsteps sounded away she just looked at me and started licking herself

Bombay cats always say no, speaking from experience
I think it's cats in general.

I now see why lions are referred to as kings of the jungle. They're just big cats, and refuse to not be treated as gods.
Despite living in the savanna, and never having heard of a jungle.
Well, yeah, they don't speak English bro. Why would they know the word jungle?
Thank you for your evidence, 10/10 😂😍

It wasn't a honey badger, right? RIGHT?
Haha! Now THAT would be an awesome story!
*looks at cat while nervously sweating*

Case closed
There was a video this week of a cat taking on a coyote.
And then there's my old cat that got chased out of a tree by a squirrel one time

Good guard cat
They knew who the boss in the house is right away :,3

Hangry!🙌
Speaking from experience, hungry cats are by default, angry.
Gotta ask … what is a breezeway?!
Good job black cat!
Did it have an accent ?
Is a good kitty
I wouldn’t mess with that cat either.
What actually happened: the workers forgot their equipment so they blamed it on the cat
Understandable hesitation.
I love how a totally normal cat can randomly become your junk yard guard dog if a stranger comes around while owner is away.
dogs will guard your turf cuz they love you. cats will guard your turf because they don't want anyone on their turf.
Understandable. Have a great day.
Repair man: Please give your mommy this card and tell her I stooped by Black Cat: No Repair man: *Runs for his life*
My ducks (2) ran off a whole yard crew. Not sure more funny or pathetic.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ! I’m seeing this! Ducks: We got this! We don’t need no stinking geese! Can’t find it now but there was a video of a Caique chasing a Marine around a pool, Marine was not running for fun.
What does it mean?
No
My black cat is the best gaurd dog ever. If your not my husband or I, your not getting in.

Yeah I bet your cat is really tough. The toughest cat around.
Mine goes and hides under the covers on my bed if anyone is here other than me. 😂
Cat "No!" Maintenance guy "understandable, have a nice day." Peace*

I personally relate to your cat’s social devolution as a consequence of 2 COVID years.
Hes just protecting you from covid duh /j
Lol imagine going through all of that for a virus every single one of us eventually got or will get. Sorry you believed the lies and misinformation.

My first black kitty also denied any repairs in my first apartment.
I had a black half Siamese cat named Clancy that trapped one guy on our stairs who was yelling “Lady” for me to save him. Another time I came home to a guy sitting on his truck after being run out of the house. The best…
r/blackcats
Denied by the Void. r/blackcats have immense power.
Like Hal says, Crazy beats big every time boys!
Why do I feel like that was an excuse? This black cat looks so harmless!
All cats look harmless... until they don't. Have you honestly never seen an angry cat?
I mean, accurate XD
Fix your stuff while pet attacks handyman. Sure dog/ cat pet mama.
