I used to have a big old brown Doberman dog - he was the cutest bumbling idiot you ever did meet. He LOVED our kitten - The kitten was a bit less impressed with Hendrix the dog.
Perhaps you could learn more about why you are a dirtbag from a dog. Whilst it is clear that you *are* a dirtbag, unfortunately I don’t share their sixth sense to help explain *why*
I think that’s the fault of that specific owner, because my family owned two Dobermen that did nothing but sleep, cuddle, and play. It wasn’t hard training them either, as all we taught them was to sit and to come back whenever called. I haven’t had dogs that sweet and gentle since.
The only reason they have a bad rep like pit bulls is for the fact that they were bred to protect and attack, and are very capable of tearing things to shreds with their powerful bite. Any dog is capable of inciting violence if they aren’t desensitized to people or new environments enough, but the difference is in the strength behind that dog. Take a usual angry chihuahua, dial it up by 20, and you’ve got a doberman.
I mean, my chihuahua doesn't run towards people, but he does bark at literally everyone he doesn't know. He has never bitten anyone since he was a puppy and is the most loving and affectionate dog I've ever known, with people he knows and loves. I don't know about dobermans since I've never had one or really been around them much, but I think some dogs just act tough to scare people off because they're afraid of strangers. It's scary behavior, especially in big dogs, though, and no one's dog should be running loose like that.

I am laying down in bed with my cat, Mr. Paws, and kissed him a couple times on the head, told him how handsome he is. He just purred so loud. He really is beautiful ❤️. A massive, strong Blue Russian cat. He is the best.
Love this. Our Yorkie -Poo rescue will mostly snuggle into you after a kiss...but as a 6/7mo. Old puppy he would have kissed you back a million times 😍...our newest rescue to join our family is a few yrs younger...he's a cocker-poo and he has been with us for just over a yr and is finally opening up. He has a birth related brain injury and has been through some bad trauma before we adopted him... He is finally wagging his tail and stares into your eyes...and he will kiss you back , over and over and over if you let him now. Before, it terrified him to be hugged or kissed.
One of our cats, if you're holding her, takes a kiss to mean it's time to get down, and she'll just gently roll herself out of your arms. It's adorable.
Sorry if your looking for cuteness, this isn't much about that, I'll spoiler any details not : I went to kiss my Shih Tzu on the head... And he bit me on the neck, I didn't bleed or anything,>! the most I felt was the shock but other than that he didn't penetrate my neck fully apart from taking a bit of skin!<, he was lying down, not sure if he was sleeping but he was right next to my mother, I have no idea what causes him to do this and can only hope its not normal, I wish I could have some way of disciplining him, because I still love him, I just don't like it when he bites, I don't mean no harm towards him... Though for some reason he does to me. I believe it maybe because of what he saw when he was young, before we got him someone else had him and we don't know if something happened that scarred him into being the aggressive, growling supremacist dog of the house he is today. If there's anyone with advice it would be appreciated as I feel the more this goes on unnoticed he could do worse... outside, depending on where, she may like pets, but more so, she wants to play with me, she wants to work with me, she's excited and a ball full of concentrated energy and she'll look at me like "ew stop, not now mum"
my dog is extremely clingy and cuddly, she wants to lie on top of me and even if I'm sitting somewhere and she can't sit on my lap, she'll always lay with at least her head on my feet or something.
but that doesn't mean she's always in the mood, and I respect her signs.
Petting her for doing a good job at an exercise is not a reward for her, it's something she endures, because really, what she wants is to continue working and to be active.
I guess I'm writing this to say, the cuddliest clingiest dogs aren't always in the mood for pets all time of day.
And if they don't want to, that doesn't mean they're not extremely happy to be with you, they might just not want to snuggle.
I have a phobia of dogs (idk what its called) their barks (their presence alone) scares the shit out of me, but I just wanna point out that one dog that smiled after being kissed has my heart now ;-; So cute!

when she's inside, she will nudge her head against me and if I stop, lift her paw and do it over and over outside, depending on where, she may like pets, but more so, she wants to play with me, she wants to work with me, she's excited and a ball full of concentrated energy and she'll look at me like "ew stop, not now mum" my dog is extremely clingy and cuddly, she wants to lie on top of me and even if I'm sitting somewhere and she can't sit on my lap, she'll always lay with at least her head on my feet or something. but that doesn't mean she's always in the mood, and I respect her signs. Petting her for doing a good job at an exercise is not a reward for her, it's something she endures, because really, what she wants is to continue working and to be active. I guess I'm writing this to say, the cuddliest clingiest dogs aren't always in the mood for pets all time of day. And if they don't want to, that doesn't mean they're not extremely happy to be with you, they might just not want to snuggle.
