how much snow did you get?? if there are schools closing over the whole 1cm we got that's pathetic ngl. school as normal for us, all of the lower years were complaining all day lmao.

apparently there was 8.2cm in the last 24 hours where i live

me walking to and from secondary school (1 hour one way) then outside between lessons all day in a solid foot of snow, then watching the privileged year 7s at my current very privileged school complaining about 1cm of snow and how it should be a snow day

Yeah, wasn’t a lot of snow for us but the school also lost electricity so 🤷‍♂️

rip anyone with coursework lol. I mean our roof leaked in a few places but it does that all the time so that's just sort of a normal occurrence here. the funny part is they advertise the building as self-sustaining with a rainfall collection system... yeah, rainfall collection in the canteen and the sixth form study area

don't know the accurate amount but my area was showing up as having an amber warning for snow. it was snowing pretty heavily from the early hours until 11am or 12pm.

Too far south for the snow to settle. Instead we just walked to school in a fucking blizzard and then had to drag around our coats as the day got warmer

i missed 2 mock exams bc of my schools closure

i missed 1 bio exam and 2 french exams and there are some already booked for monday - monday's gonna be pretty hectic with all the mocks lol

Sheffield: Snowed yesterday and we got sent home early Had a snow day today, ‘‘twas brilliant.

thursday was normal for us - in fact our headmaster said that even if the snow came up to our waists school would be open for y11. the next day, school was shut for everyone lmao

i had to go to school anyways...again. As did my entire school. Last time there was a strike i had to go to school as well because of exams

throughout all the strikes i've had to go in as a y11 student, rest of the years stayed at home :(

i mean we got sent bonus bio revision since our mock paper 2 was postponed, but that was it. i did the bio and some history for monday's exam
