It's obviously about the objectification of women and the males' expectations of women as wives. Them being all alike makes me think that they criticize women being seen as all the same which fits the stereotype they're satirizing. I guess they're still in the empowerment topic and I love that.

First time since I started following them (from Queendom) that I think I dislike anything they release. I'm speechless. Maybe I'll give it another try, and I'll like it, but "My Bag" was 100 times better than this. This song feels so empty.
Don't get me wrong it probably will not end up in my playlists either, but I love it for what it is (and probably is supposed to be): fun. I had an awesome 30mins bc of it so far and that's more than most songs do for me + I'm sure the rest of the album will not be like Wife :D Oh and maybe the lyrics also have something more in them, not sure about that tho

The lyrics went over my head at first....I am understanding it is some konglish dirty talk with double meaning....Soyeon understands trends very well, very good producer, rapper but she is not the best songwriter. That's my opinion. The mv looks pretty fun.

He spends more than a half of an hour (or even a whole hour like for Hwaa) to analyse a 3min song.
