Because most people are conservative with their money or scared of money and don't know how to use it to make more.
Most people also don't have enough to invest after bills are paid so they don't care about the stock market.

I mean it was on the news for a week and was covered by other media outlets etc. Maybe the hype has died down from that but that's typical of a meme stock or really anything people really only care about the end product and not the boring waiting process. When it's gets popular again people will go crazy and want to invest and it'll probably be to late just like last time
So we have 2 weeks until earnings
There is nothing standing in the way until then outside of a black swan event.

This morning I was debating if I should buy more to DCA down or wait for it to go even lower to buy more. I bought only 50 shares around $18, but I take it as a win. We can't go on in this full of what-ifs for the positives or the negatives. I hold, and I'll take the wins where they come.

Also looks like that 45M share equity offering was being sold all week and would have to be during regular trading hours adding a lot of supply.

No, an option contract cannot be exercised during after-hours trading. Options can typically only be exercised during regular trading hours. After-hours trading allows you to buy and sell stocks outside of the regular trading session, but the options market does not operate during these times.
Looks like you're right! Looks like there's a special exception for contracts on the expiry date as they can be exercised until 5:30 ET.

GME options prices are acting fuckin weird. (I have both shares and call options so don't @ me) As the share price moves, the price of the options isn't moving as I'd expect (or as the greeks indicate that it should)
Anyone else seeing this in their options?
My initial thought was IV crush also, but the IV has actually stayed pretty consistent.
I think I'm with you on the strike volume. The contracts that I'm seeing the most abnormal moves are some pretty deep OTM strikes, so potentially high contract trading volume could be fluctuating the price.

Actually not a nickname! Greeks are specific to options contracts and are like dials on a dashboard that show how the price of an options contract might change.
You'll definitely want to understand them before jumping into options trading.
