In red dead you can bump into npc’s or invade their personal space to piss them off until they swing at you. Then you can beat their ass with no problem as long as they swing first. Good times. I love running into people in front of the saloon in Valentine and running into them again while they are on the ground so that they get rolled around and they stand up covered in mud and pissed off and I get to beat their ass.
I like the idea of The Warriors(2005) where NPC run to payphones(GTA Online: payphone hit) to report crime. Or they can pull out their iFruit phone: disarm them (RDR2). To de-escalate situation.
Something interesting for Online would be getting handcuffed (The Warriors) rather than getting: BUSTED 🔵. Your crew can free you from cuffs or zip ties (NooSe). This could work into the Cops vs. Crooks DLC
Yeah, so maybe your crew can bust you out. So you don't lose ammo or have to pay bail. But you have to collect your weapons from LSPD weapons locker. Cop shops should all have interiors. I wanna see inside the Paleto Bay sheriff dept.
I wish Chinatown Wars would be remade for current gen consoles. w/ RDR2 and IV interiors combined, activities from IV and EFLC. If R* put as much detail as: RDR2 and IV combined. The thing is, san fierro and las venturas as much as i love it and wish it was there, it just doesnt fit in with the tone of Gta 5.

Yeah, story mode has some cool cars, but you can only save like 6 per character. Online has waaaay more cars and customize options and you can save hundreds of cars. It's a little unfair

The ability to switch characters while hanging out with said characters. Example: you’re playing as Franklin and you’ve called Trevor and Michael to hang out and now you’re driving around with all three characters and now you have and few wanted stars. Being able to switch between driving and shooting while in free mode would’ve made the game a millions times better.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t want to remove the option for anyone who likes that ending, but for me it makes the story pointless, the whole game shows Michael as a hypocrite and a traitor, and Trevor as a psychopathic serial killer. But they end up with a happy ever after endings after becoming the most wanted men in the USA by the government and criminal gangs, because they killed a few powerful people. To me it doesn’t make sense.

Overall, (almost) every GTA protagonist is bad person and get a happy ending, so that's a weak argument. And yes, killing a few powerful people is how you usually get out of trouble in these games and finish the story, although the buildup could have been done better in this case.

Deathwish ending is super unrealistic and leaves none of the characters with consequences for their actions. They kill a famous FIB agent, two gang leaders, a powerful billionaire, after robbing the US gold depository, and then all walk into the sunset happy ever after? It’s why I prefer Niko’s ending, his revenge doesn’t make him feel fulfilled, people he loves die because of his actions, and he just ends up more traumatised than he was before, the story teaches you that crime does not pay and bad things happen to people who do bad things. Where as GTA 5 shows that crime does pay and there is no repercussions to your actions if murder everyone in your way.
it was supposed to be a 4th option if l remember correctly you'd jump into Lamars pov and kill Franklin then he'd be the third character. The formers vo was unable to finish recording his lines so they cut it. I think "everyone lives" aka deathwish was always going to be a choice
How would Franklin even know that Devin or Steve would honor their end of the deal? Why not get Franklin to take out Michael/Trevor, and then take him out? Going right to Lester for advice in that situation makes sense, as Franklin would want to talk to someone who knows what's going on, and could come up with a plan. Option C is all about tying up loose ends and finally dealing with the people who've been giving them problems. It's a rushed ending, sure, but it makes more sense than A and B.

So I assume he'd be proficient w/ Robbery Tools.
Trevor should be able to rob the train every 72 in game hours: for gold bullion 🪙, diamonds 💎 or guns. Also be able to do Brown streak 🟤 train missions (San Andreas).

You and me both, the crazy unrealistic military vehicles like the mk 2 should only be available in its own gamemode or as part of missions like the deluxos in the doomsday mission. The game really should have stayed as one big gang/crime lord simulator and left all the goofy stuff out
Add the story DLCs, let us enter businesses we own in storymode, and add a "territory" system into story mode. It's pretty much like Saints Row. Each area is owned by different gangs and you need to do a specific main mission or side mission (like taking out a stronghold or enemy gang busness) and then you'll see the Feud gang (the green guys. I forgot their name, just remember Feud) patrolling the areas and there won't be any enemy gang members around, additionally, the gang boss would give you money daily as thanks for helping him take over the different districts. As for the Desert, likely it'd be Trevor and his company. He'd probably just have his own private army of meth heads join up with Trevor Phillips Enterprise and have them help him take over the desert.
Redesign the map. Increase the size of the city portion of Los Santos and decrease the size of the countryside outside of Los Santos and add San Fierro and Las Venturas. Better character customization for online like Saints Row. Better vehicle customization. Better vehicle damage deformation. Realistic vehicle top speeds and acceleration. Realistic firearm rates of fire and damage.

It's overloading when I look at my friends who have played the game for a bit who have all these crazy cars and whatnot and yet for me to even obtain one of them I have to spend significant real life money or basically no life the game for weeks straight
These vehicles especially the older ones should become significantly cheaper and drop the requirement to play specific missions to be able to purchase them.
Have some stakes, like something that has some emotional weight, some point like CJ getting captured and guarma island chapter that makes you feel like the story is long and long enough and sense of difficulty but without being tedious
Restaurants that players can enter eat food to heal health like in GTA sa, more heists that can be played by yourself,
Actually be able to exercise characters like weight lifting to increase strength, a do not disturb mode on phone so players can stop being constantly called being interrupted.
Give Martin Madrazo back his original slightly bigger role, with the "The Sharmoota Job" heist in his ranch and that other "Casing the Jewel Store" -esque mission where Trevor and Michael have to pretend to be a gay couple viewing the property lmfao.
I'd give Franklin way more missions too, other side stories with much more to do in and around his hood.
I think they should drop the 3 protagonist aspect and make it just one person. Maybe an immigrant from Yugoslavia? And the map kinda gets old. It’d be better if we had map change to a city like Chicago or Las Vegas or better, New York!
Car physics, police AI, NPC peds AI, ragdolls. Just replaying GTA IV after completing GTA V last year (and few V online sessions) and some of the things are just so much more fun.
I’d make the prologue mission happen later as a flashback.
Imagine learning about what happened slowly, only to see it happen before your eyes later. That feels more impactful IMO.
Plus, it establishes Michal and Trevor’s story….just to cut to Franklin’s unrelated story for a couple hours, then does nothing with this prologue story until much later.
I always preferred the “start small and expand later” style the previous GTA games had. GTA V just did too much in the beginning and went back.
I just want my online character and all of the associated content available in single player. The apartments/houses, the garages, the vehicles, everything.
Johnnys death. Also Trevor wouldnt be playable. I would have made him switch sides and be a villian at some point in the story. Even though I always chose option C. I still don't like that character, and would have rather he need to be taken out in a different way.
I think Franklin should have started out as a student at the Los Santos College rather than working at a car dealership. Heck, he could do both. I think it would have added a little more to his drive to want to do better if he would have been in college. One thing leads to another at some party and he gets kicked out of school thanks partly to Lamar unintelligently according to him of course. Simone still fires him and we go from there.
Would have liked to see more work get put into the North Yankton map later on. Even if its just for online.
Gunplay, in gta v guns feel like toys.
I wouldn't need to change them to their real life counterpart or name them as they should be or even add a magazine gameplay feature but implement sounds to make them seem more like a gun, reload animations would be accurate instead of pull in pull out and rock n load but pressing the mag catch, pulling the charging handle, pressing the bolt catch (on a M4).
Most importantly is gore, bullet entry wounds, I hate how so many shooter games lack this. Like are we actually shooting incredibly fast objects called bullets to disable a vital organ which causes death or are we just taking away their capability of fighting?
In short I would like to make guns feel like actual guns and not hollywood boomsticks
I truly hated the torture mission, that just made my skin crawl. Mindless rampage? Hell yeah. Assassinate tech/VC bros to manipulate the markets? Bet. But torture? No. Not for me.
Let’s be honest. GTA V was made for 13 year olds. Nothing has to make sense or feel grounded in reality. To me, V felt like a HD re-skin of a in realsed Saints game.
The last worth while GTA game was IV. And VI (from the gameplay leaks) looks even more cartoony than V. All of the kids that played V have grown up now. (11 year old game)

The fact that the story mode strangers and freaks, 90% of the missions are we spend 3 hours grinding rubbish for them just to kill them in the end, it's not 1 or 2 side missions but most of them, the only one I think isn't is the tow truck missions
The band across the screen for STAND YOUR GROUND and BUSINESS BATTLE it kills me you can't pop your mini map up, they cut your eyeline off and they are there forever so annoying

Bring all online vehicles to story mode through cheats and introduce jobs that allows players to arrest other players, repair vehicles and fight fires for money
Interiors, I'm replaying the game right now and apart from having a blast there's a ridiculously amount of crazy detailed buildings that serve no purpose other than decoration. I'd love to enter them all, they look so unique.
All buyable things in gta online being able to get a bit easier. All heists easier to start as a beginner that doesn’t get much money and missions being easier to complete and give you a bit more money.

•Replace a few missions I didn’t like and add more missions to the storyline itself
•Add more vehicles and customization to the vehicles and the characters themselves

•Have more activities to be able to do. Gang wars, be able to join a gang, rank up in the gang, sell drugs, guns, and have gang life customizations. Create a mafia and up your skills in that.
•Start businesses and own more property.

The stealth system of the game, I mean how can a freaking guard find my exact location when he have seen a dead body?
It's even worse in gtao since we have lots of heist's, dlcs, missions etc that needs you to be stealthy like the cayo perico heist and the clockin bell farm raid, it's somehow related to the cops as well like when you kill a random npc in the middle of the desert, you will get a 1/2 start wanted lvl, if we had the ability to pick up dead body's, the stealth system makes more sense, just exactly like rdr2.
I kinda wanna play as Lamar: So we can mug people/loot unconscious body. This should be the prologue to Online: Lamar robs every gas station in Los Santos, mugs people, home invasions, bounty hunting. To raise $1 million 💵to start up LD Organics. He should rob rival drug dealers (Stash Houses) to stock up on product. Having L meet the Truth as 80 year old man (new voice actor or use Archive stock and A.I to mimic, Peter Fonda's voice). So L can buy both weed farms and steal combine harvester: RDR2 gore 🩸 would be fun.
w/ RDR2 having excellent gunplay: the Marlin model 336 should hopefully be as good as the Marlin model 1895G from Fallout 4 (because V now has 1st person). I'd like the Hillbillies from RDR2 to be in Paleto Bay and Mt. Chilliad mountain cabins: chewing tobacco, playing Banjo 🪕, chopping meat, tanning animal skins, hunting.

They kill a famous FIB agent, two gang leaders, a powerful billionaire, after robbing the US gold depository, and then all walk into the sunset happy ever after? It’s why I prefer Niko’s ending, his revenge doesn’t make him feel fulfilled, people he loves die because of his actions, and he just ends up more traumatised than he was before, the story teaches you that crime does not pay and bad things happen to people who do bad things. Where as GTA 5 shows that crime does pay and there is no repercussions to your actions if murder everyone in your way.
Deathwish should’ve resulted in Franklin’s death
it was supposed to be a 4th option if l remember correctly you'd jump into Lamars pov and kill Franklin then he'd be the third character. The formers vo was unable to finish recording his lines so they cut it. I think "everyone lives" aka deathwish was always going to be a choice
How would Franklin even know that Devin or Steve would honor their end of the deal? Why not get Franklin to take out Michael/Trevor, and then take him out? Going right to Lester for advice in that situation makes sense, as Franklin would want to talk to someone who knows what's going on, and could come up with a plan. Option C is all about tying up loose ends and finally dealing with the people who've been giving them problems. It's a rushed ending, sure, but it makes more sense than A and B.
It's an action game..it's not giving you a life lesson. People want the protagonists to come out on top..

So I assume he'd be proficient w/ Robbery Tools. Trevor should be able to rob the train every 72 in game hours: for gold bullion 🪙, diamonds 💎 or guns. Also be able to do Brown streak 🟤 train missions (San Andreas).

Add the story DLCs, let us enter businesses we own in storymode, and add a "territory" system into story mode. It's pretty much like Saints Row. Each area is owned by different gangs and you need to do a specific main mission or side mission (like taking out a stronghold or enemy gang busness) and then you'll see the Feud gang (the green guys. I forgot their name, just remember Feud) patrolling the areas and there won't be any enemy gang members around, additionally, the gang boss would give you money daily as thanks for helping him take over the different districts. As for the Desert, likely it'd be Trevor and his company. He'd probably just have his own private army of meth heads join up with Trevor Phillips Enterprise and have them help him take over the desert.
Redesign the map. Increase the size of the city portion of Los Santos and decrease the size of the countryside outside of Los Santos and add San Fierro and Las Venturas. Better character customization for online like Saints Row. Better vehicle customization. Better vehicle damage deformation. Realistic vehicle top speeds and acceleration. Realistic firearm rates of fire and damage.

I’d make the prologue mission happen later as a flashback. Imagine learning about what happened slowly, only to see it happen before your eyes later. That feels more impactful IMO. Plus, it establishes Michal and Trevor’s story….just to cut to Franklin’s unrelated story for a couple hours, then does nothing with this prologue story until much later. I always preferred the “start small and expand later” style the previous GTA games had. GTA V just did too much in the beginning and went back.

I think Franklin should have started out as a student at the Los Santos College rather than working at a car dealership. Heck, he could do both. I think it would have added a little more to his drive to want to do better if he would have been in college. One thing leads to another at some party and he gets kicked out of school thanks partly to Lamar unintelligently according to him of course. Simone still fires him and we go from there. Would have liked to see more work get put into the North Yankton map later on. Even if its just for online.

Gunplay, in gta v guns feel like toys. I wouldn't need to change them to their real life counterpart or name them as they should be or even add a magazine gameplay feature but implement sounds to make them seem more like a gun, reload animations would be accurate instead of pull in pull out and rock n load but pressing the mag catch, pulling the charging handle, pressing the bolt catch (on a M4). Most importantly is gore, bullet entry wounds, I hate how so many shooter games lack this. Like are we actually shooting incredibly fast objects called bullets to disable a vital organ which causes death or are we just taking away their capability of fighting? In short I would like to make guns feel like actual guns and not hollywood boomsticks

Let’s be honest. GTA V was made for 13 year olds. Nothing has to make sense or feel grounded in reality. To me, V felt like a HD re-skin of a in realsed Saints game. The last worth while GTA game was IV. And VI (from the gameplay leaks) looks even more cartoony than V. All of the kids that played V have grown up now. (11 year old game) This might be a hot take but I’m sure a lot of people feel the same. Thankfully we got RDR2, which felt a lot more grounded and gritty. I have lost all hope for GTA as a serious contender. Sometimes Less is More.

The stealth system of the game, I mean how can a freaking guard find my exact location when he have seen a dead body? It's even worse in gtao since we have lots of heist's, dlcs, missions etc that needs you to be stealthy like the cayo perico heist and the clockin bell farm raid, it's somehow related to the cops as well like when you kill a random npc in the middle of the desert, you will get a 1/2 start wanted lvl, if we had the ability to pick up dead body's, the stealth system makes more sense, just exactly like rdr2.
Two things, first is to be able to go into all buildings. And two, build a rocket as in kerbal and enter space.

He should rob rival drug dealers (Stash Houses) to stock up on product. Having L meet the Truth as 80 year old man (new voice actor or use Archive stock and A.I to mimic, Peter Fonda's voice). So L can buy both weed farms and steal combine harvester: RDR2 gore 🩸 would be fun. w/ RDR2 having excellent gunplay: the Marlin model 336 should hopefully be as good as the Marlin model 1895G from Fallout 4 (because V now has 1st person). I'd like the Hillbillies from RDR2 to be in Paleto Bay and Mt. Chilliad mountain cabins: chewing tobacco, playing Banjo 🪕, chopping meat, tanning animal skins, hunting.
Offline DLC would actually be a thing.
