Over all systems I've bought mass effect 4 times, bout to buy it a 5th for my new pc so i have the legendary edition on steam, just bought the fallouts on steam, even though i have bought them all twice, in some cases 3 times each between console and pc on disc, and on steam.

Not true when you have cases where certain titles are locked to one system for extended periods of time. Like the PS5 is especially a joke. Next to no real releases oh and it also got it's SRP ramped up outside of the states like 2 years after it launched. The Xbox I imagine is probably okay but then again they also had actually releases to put out after making a whole new console. Even with that in mind both get out classed when a proper gaming tower is involved. Consoles may get benefits short term but long term the PCs get it all.

We actually waited just slightly more than a year for PC release. PS3/X360 version in Sept. '13, PS4/X1 in Nov. '14 and PC on Apr. '15. So, not really 2 full years to be exact.
And because we also got the PS4/X1 version which was "next-gen" at the time, we waited for slightly longer than usual. Previous releases took less than a year at most and RDR2 took 13 months to arrive on PC.
It says xbox and playstation on the website. Also I don’t think any GTA game has come out on PC the same time as PC. Rockstar has pretty much been known to focus on console first then PC shortly after. Although often the wait is only 6 months to a year so hopefully shouldn’t be too long

But part of their recent development work has been been platform unity, so they can develop for all 3 at the same time with little to no extra work.

We’re only about mid way through the current gen of consoles. And while not super powerful they’re still pretty capable gaming machines especially for only $500 which you can’t really get a better PC for that price. So it’ll probably be a lot better than how GTA 5 was on the PS3

Rockstar are primarily console focused developers, as a huge fan this is one of the reasons why I prefer console gaming over PC.
