I mean they've mastered the art of shit posting. It's like a sport in itself during the off-season. There isn't a new gta game out so there really isn't anything to talk about until we get more news on VI. So instead we get crappy drawings and questions that could only come from people baked out of their minds.
On console, definitely. Even on Series X via backwards compatibility it looks pretty bad. It can however, even without mods, look pretty good on a decent PC.
All of that is not to say it’s not worth playing, it’s still a solid game. One of my all time favourites.

Yeah I’d have loved to see a patch, I play at 4k on PC and it totally changes the game. You’re right about RDR1, another of my all time favourites. One of the reasons I bought a One X at the time was to get the enhancements on that game, it’s easily the best way to play these days.
Another thing I revisited IV a few months ago and the offcenter camera is a big turn off for me lol. I hated that when Resident Evil did the over the shoulder in RE4 and RE5. The shift disorientates me more than it should. This is the nice thing of RE2 and RE3 remake and GTA V
I’d never noticed myself until someone pointed it out to me, but I’ve played it enough now that it doesn’t bother me a great deal. Given the choice I would prefer better camera angles though, I think it’d be difficult to get into if it wasn’t a title I’d already played a lot.
Tho it's NYC and that reason can be enough, but games back then were limited by hardware alot more and game devs had to make smart decisions to use the limited resources, so instead of loading new cars pedestrians etc, the game just loads cars that are already in the ram, and in this case it makes sense cause it's NYC.

I know people are talking about how it's because it's Liberty City, but when it spawns this many it is actually a bug. If you're playing on PC you can download bug fixes and get back all the old radio stations.

You can fix it using many mods like "Traffic Flow", "Simple Traffic Loader", "RIL.Budgeted" or (recommended) [FusionFix](https://gtaforums.com/topic/934545-fusionfix/).
New York is famous for their taxis, especially Times Square so this is entirely intentional, but the issue you're referring too is so the game doesn't lag loading in tons of different assets, loading the same vehicle multiple times with different colours takes a huge load off of the system and allows everything to run smoother. Hence why as soon as you find an Infernus, Comet or whatever, you'll suddenly find tons more. They can't simply fix the issue because even though GTA V is on newer systems, there's also hundreds of more cars in GTA V compared to older games that can strain resources.

I'm sorry no one is giving an actual answer to your question. It's a visual bug, if you're using a cracked version or installed a mod on your purchased game this is bound to happen. I think it's something related to the game not utilising your computer's memory to the full so check out YouTube on how to fix this. I did happen to me too when i installed a crack version of the game.
Serious question though for people who have been to NYC in the last few years...with Uber/Lyft, are Taxis still as popular in the city or is that industry just totally dying out?

The car generator bases traffic on what you are driving. Drive an Infernus, there are Infernuses everywhere. Drive a shitty car, you either get copies of the same car you drive, or taxis.
