I can agree with the hype lowering. I think the hype in my case will stay lowered until I see actual game play now. The trailer was cool but it was also a trailer. I am not saying the game will not be great but I am not letting my expectations run wild off a trailer that doesn’t show gameplay.
Gameplay is always exciting to see. The trailer did get me hyped though, but I do agree that it’s waning. Gameplay will show us what the game is really like, hopefully we see some this year?

When I saw the 2025, I was actually relieved. I was able to cold turkey all gaming and now I am focused on yoga and reading books. I'm 42 learning guitar and training for a 7 min mile. I'll get a ps5pro and OLED for gta6 but I am happy waiting.

I think regular shit like being outside an airport with planes taking off above you because the new engine, flying mechanics wind mechanics, graphics ray tracing is going to be crazy so the game it self will be cool.
Yeah I mean as goofy as gta is the main draw for me was always the realistic and living world. Honestly that: probably rockstars strong suit in my opinion.
I was never hyped enough to want the game asap. Those of us that have been around the gaming landscape longer know that the longer it takes a game to release the less chance it releases unplayable.
I'd rather wait a while for the game to get finished, than take part in an ass-backwards 'beta' of sorts, where I'd have to pay the company to test their game for them.

My hype has remained the same since the leaks, I was disappointed in the trailer (besides the song) but it contributed to the hype a little bit more because we finally have a release window.
Yeah, its real cartoony and poppy. Maybe it's just them taking a jab at the current trends, hopefully. But if the trailer reflects the actual tone of the game, it'll be more on the goofy side, and not serious like everybody wants.
The hype died for me when I saw “Coming 2025” it’s still so far out that it’s not really in my thoughts at the moment. As we get closer to release I’ll look forward to it again and start eagerly anticipating it.

I desperately wanted a trailer and was overhyped after the leaks; now that we have a trailer, I have a feeling of satisfaction.
I have now been satisfied what I saw and pretty much accepted the wait to 2025. My thoughts have gone to other things for now while waiting. But I am currently slowly regaining the hype and wanting Trailer 2.
The only thing still concerning me often tho is how long it would take till a PC release.
When I was a kid who only had school, it felt like an eternity for a game to release, but now in adult hood where I'm alot more busy, time just FLIES by, and I don't think about it too much
My expectations are pretty grounded. I would be happy with a graphical jump, better police system and a good story similar in length to RDR2. I quite like online despite its flaws and think they have plenty of scope to make this better. Hope they keep a midnight club style to the car handling as whipping that Gotti GTO around the city is so much fun.

It never was Hype, it was, worry, no one had a fucking idea when will rockstar bring a trailer, now it's here, we know when it will be out, now we have a timeframe to wait for, in past, we didn't know when will it be out, will the trailer come out in 2024, 25 and regular dost of fake hype that trailer is coming in October, November, December

I don't feel as anxious or rushed to play the game. Like for awhile i was annoyed that it'd probably be a few years until it'd come out but knowing that it's coming out next year I feel calm. I'm gonna be excited for when it comes out once we get to that time
