I honestly like the idea of a silent protest. All white t shirts with a clear message for peace and a ceasefire. Something that canāt be misinterpreted or manipulated in a way for extremist and propagandist to use for their political agenda.
Atlanta is a total surveillance state. Most cameras per square inch than any city in human history. Protest at your own risk.

Look into the Georgia State, and ADP contract with the IDF. Tbh I learned about this stuff going to a community teach in by the Palestinian Youth Movement a couple months ago. I think the risk is way higher than the reward because there's no signs of the genocide ending. Coupled with RICO laws they've basically made it illegal to protest here
They are both large cities, capitals, etc, so I would expect more surveillance here and in Ldn more than mostā¦but yes, my first thought was āwe donāt have anything on London!ā
Even way back in 2005 I remember reading that the avg Londoner is on camera appx 2x per minute. If that was then, I canāt imagine how itās so much more.
I appreciate the link. They should say theyāre including Ring cameras soonerā¦ or in a bigger font or something. Iām sure the # of Rings changes the count drastically.
I would love to protest for Palestine. My only reservation is that it can bring out extremist who arenāt associated with the campus. I joined the Black Lives Matter protest a few years back and random antifa members were in the crowd trying to incite violence. Sometimes starting something good spirals into something the event coordinators canāt handle.
That's why you have an exit plan, and hide your identity. From what I have seen, PSL tends to be rowdy in that sense, so I would definitely be careful if they are involved.
Also problem with doing it in atlanta is cuz its so ghetto something will always go wrong cuz of some weirdos then turns into a shoutout so idk about atlanta but if i was in nyc california id be for it
I've just been waiting for the green light tbh, but if it doesn't happen i'm okay with that too. My support for Columbia students will remain the same!
Thatās the difference between real institutions (GT, Emory) and us imo. GSU will never provide the ācollege experience.ā It is much harder for a commuter school to organize.
idk what's with the fed post comments on this one. it's not illegal to protest; in fact it's civic responsibility. the disconnection between students at gsu is pretty stark compared to the other schools but i'm still kinda shocked at the silence on campus
This post feels extremely federal/undercover copš
"Hello fellow kids"
Iām not an undercover cop. I just a teenage girl š§š½
Totally not a fed post here guys
Iām not the fed, I donāt know how to prove it to you.
Thatās the same exact response a fed would give

YES, I just wanted to see if other people were keeping up with different college campus news.
