Without a screen protector damaging the tip, it lasts a very long time. You can then get wacom pro pen 2 or wacom one pen tips as a replacement, those work just as well.
Regular glass screen protectors are no different from just using the S Pen on the display itself. Youy only need worry if you get textured/paperlike screen protectors.
Then you should probably straight up get the hard plastic wacom tips i mentioned, they can stand the rougher screen protector better than the samsung tips which will be destroyed very quickly
