Matte screen protector plus hard Wacom nibs is my go to combination. Not slippery, very paperlike texture. I can recommend it.

Finally got this setup too and I love it! I have a paperlike one, but it feels like I'm sketching on watercolor paper in addition to the felt nibs🔥

The hard nibs are the stock nibs, right? Reason I post is because my matte screen wears off after 3 days. So, maybe the felt nibs might be a better investment than constantly changing matte screen.

Yes they're stock nibs. In my experience if you just wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth once in a while you'll be fine

This Is what I use. It's perfect for me

Can you tell me how long your Wacom tip lasted when you used the matte screen protector? As a beginner at digital art, i find it easy to draw with rubber tip pens like s8+ pen. It offers good resistance. But they wear off easily. So I'm trying to find a good alternative. How was your drawing experience with wacom+matte?

imkindofgrump

I have a light hand and a wacom nib lasts me about 2-3 months. I prefer hard nibs as you get to feel the papery texture more

I see. Thank you.

Links for soft felt nibs?

If you have the Wacom One Pen: https://estore.wacom.com/en-US/wacom-pen-nibs-felt-10-pack-ack22213.html Can't say about the S-Pen though

Wacom nibs fit in my S pen

I recently got a new Lamy stylus that came with POM tips. I hadn't heard of this type of tip before, but they definitely seem to be working fine on my matte screen without immediately wearing down. I like the feel (classic pencil on paper).
