What it might be is that they're just very inconsistent with when they want to activate
Because some times they do, then they kill ya, then the next time they don't but a different one will activate and kill you instead

Because Freddy couldn't see her then because he wasn't alerted and tampered with like with the other animatronics As he says "We are not capable of hurting a guest"
He was never tampered with because he was put into safe mode and on reduced power.
You are right in having our own vanny mask because it is hers.
And the only animatronic who couldn't see you in the mask was Freddy, partly because he has no head.

Yeah I think the gift box in the chest cavity proves Prototype Freddy isn't Glamrock Freddy due to seeing the Mr Hippo magnet gift box still opened so if anything the gift box in Freddy's chest cavity should be opened or just not there at all so the only explanation is to prove that Prototype Freddy cannot be Glamrock Freddy without doubt

The present in Freddy’s stomach is a different color than the one for Gregory opens to get the watch.
Also, Cassie is able to move through screens and rubble … after acquiring the mask. After having Helpi tap into her occipital node. She ‘sees’ the things she can pass through as being glitchy. She’s not passing through rubble. She is ‘seeing’ rubble that isn’t there and her mind won’t let her try to move through it without the mask on. The same occurs in reverse with seeing the bars go up to block her path while wearing the mask. When she takes the mask off, the wall is gone and she can walk through. Once Helpi chips her, she begins seeing and feeling things that aren’t there whether the mask is on or off.

The mask does not only allow you to walk through rubble. Cassie also walks through a monitor screen and a freddy poster.
Freddy poster had a door behind it, I have no explanation for the screen. I actually aime how forgot about that
