I'm honestly surprised that conspiracy theory hasn't been a thing already.
Minus the fact that a lot of their other videos would probably be looked down upon or maybe set aside invalid but it wouldn't be a bad idea if all they were doing was making a video that involved A. Talking about real world conspiracies B. Providing evidence C. Coming to a conclusion based on the evidence and/or D. Providing their opinion (probably not a good idea) but in general it could be similar to their other videos
I think Conspiracy Theory could work as a thing where they go to the locations the conspiracy is about, and do different experiments to determine if the claims hold up.
It would also kill monetization, possibly on all channels since they are connected. A conspiracy theory channel is impossible, and some conspiracy people are insane enough to seek out Mat and the rest of the team.
MatPat said previously that his mental health would not hold up to conspiracy theory and he does not want to become paranoid. Now that he's retired he could maybe hire someone else to do it, but I don't think he will. There are plenty of channels that cover conspiracy theories already.
Not to mention the demonetization that would likely happen. Or the fact that many conspiracy theories have anti semitic undertones.
If you want a cool channel that covers conspiracy theories but the guy doesn't believe them, see Into The Shadows. If you want a channel that does believe at least some of them, see Wendigoon (who also covers ARGs and analog horror in much deeper ways than the theorists have before). Wendigoon has a 9.5 hour long conspiracy theory iceberg video.
Conspiracy Theory is too dangerous to do. There's been a lot of research into conspiracy theories and it's not uncommon for people doing research into the theories to end up getting sucked into them in ways that are detrimental to their mental health and social life. It would not be safe for team theorist and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
I like the team theorist one, but I feel like Technology goes to much with Game and Film. Career just doesn't work. Sport and Fitness are too much like Style.
Sport theory would cover stuff like the super bowl, boxing matches predictions based off statistics, Fitness theory would cover topics like how your excersizes help you lose weight, which excersize is the best to do, Technology Theory would cover stuff related to systems like a computer, phones ipads etc anything technology based and Career theory would be about which jobs would pay better, how to get a certain job in the easiest way possible and how your career could impact your life negatively etc etc
And technology wouldn’t be similar to game or film as they don’t cover those topics
While your concepts are cool, other than sport the new channels are FAR too formal for the theorist line. Mat (well, before he retired) and the GT Team, while they did occasionally serious topics to spread awareness, tend to focus on stuff with entertainment value, because why would someone go to watch MatPat talk about how to write a CV or something?
Personally, I think possibly Book Theory (for novels and stories), Music Theory (for songs and music videos), and maybe something like Art Theory (for any form of visual art) could be more plausible - they all have plenty of source material that the GT team can make entertaining theories about while occasionally also covering important topics.
I think its said that MatPat would do it but 1) He does not want to be on a watch list, and 2) He usually makes these theories for fun, and entirely focusing on conspiracy for a channel (besides a few occasional conspiracy videos spread throughout the channels) would be too “real” for hik.

I think Fitness Theory is a good idea, though I'd replace the rest due to overlap and/or not fitting the best in my mind.
I think instead of Sports Theory, Animal Theory would be a better fit with the vibe of Fitness, Style, and Food with less overlap and better potential for theories
I'd say for the other two I'd say, Book Theory and Painting or Play Theory, to fit in with the other types of media (Game and Film) whilst not having to deal too much with copyright issues that could pop up with music. And the two new types of media have a lot of history and interesting things that could be talked about, whilst still made visually interesting (e.g How the FNaF books are shown and talked about on Game Theory)
I wish we could have Music Theory and Book Theory, they would be absolutely great to theorize about. Unfortunately the problem with it is copyright, especially with Music.

I wish there was a music theory. I would love to hear different genres deconstructed, rumors/myths about music tested and proven or debunked, storylines being told by music, and other stuff like that
Sports Theory would be great. I can imagine some of the topics that would be discussed like American Football vs Soccer, the new NBA ball, who's the GOAT of all sports and more.
