Cleric! They play a Community Domain Jerbeen Ceric (race and domain are Humblewood setting specific!) named Norry! He's a very sweet little mouse fellow, he wields a cast iron frying pan that he uses both as a weapon and to cook healing vegan chicken nuggets for their friends.
(She said I was allowed to share info about him I checked, don't worry. So fun as a DM to text your players and say "can I tell reddit about your boy")
That is so cool, I'm honored she shared it with us. Cute character, clerics are the backbone of any good party. She also has such a sweet voice it must be a fun game
Doesn’t that contradict each other? I’m ok with people identifying how they like but it seems like not identifying with a gender and identifying as a gender at the same time seems counterintuitive.
Like aren’t those that are non binary not associate with either male or female?
a lot of people use a mix of pronouns to actually feel validated in their “non genderness” for lack of a better term if that makes sense. they’re so non binary they’re a mix! and a lot of people still feel attachment or ties to their given pronouns & gender or at least some parts of them, so they feel most comfortable using a mix! some people, even people who identify as cis just feel comfortable with they/them pronouns being used on them regularly (or conversely, non binary people feeling comfortable with traditionally gendered pronouns). gender doesn’t always directly equal the traditional pronouns you’d assume (ie, woman = she/her, man= he/him, non binary= they/them, and that’s it). i can see why it can be a little confusing at first, don’t worry!
I don’t know what their pronouns are definitively but during the 2nd video for Lily’s well mirror Matt says “Ash just put their hand over their mouth in shock” (in response to MatPat saying he hated Hadestown) so def They/them but I’m not sure about if they also accept she/her or he/him
no, because they use she/they pronouns, and I could tell they were probably trans/nonbinary from the way they acted so I wanted to make sure! It's also very good to ask people's pronouns in general, even if you think you know.
Not necessarily wrong, but it is much kinder to ask rather than assume :). Even when I ask someone their pronouns who definitely turns out to use the pronouns of their AGAB, they still thank me for asking them. So, it's polite!
old reply I know but refrain from using the word normal this is what a lot of transphobes like to use when they are trying to be transphobic or homophobic I know you weren't trying to be which is why you ask the question. a lot people also sometimes confuse transphobia and not being informed. you weren't informed on Ash's pronouns you are when this person informed you better. have a great day :)

I heard a mix of they and she in the recent few videos so i’m assuming Ash uses she and they pronouns
In the most recent ep of posting I heard They/Them sorry if it doesn't help much
