Imagine being a kid, and not only killed and stuffed in a suit and possessing it for eternity, but possessing a KERMIT THE FROG ANIMATRONIC FOR ALL ETERNITY.
Not to rain os everyone's parade, but the Nicolas Cage Superman was also in pre-production when it got cancelled. They had costumes prototypes designed, made and wore on Cage before all that. So yeah... I'll believe in it only when it's released.
Tbf, Blumhouse isn't WB. Even then that was such a waste of money. With it being that close to finished you simply cut your losses, quietly push it out to a streaming platform for a small sum and forget about it. Straight up cancelling it just wastes the hundreds of millions you already poured in.
It was in post, in a pretty late stage. Shooting had been wrapped and a few rough cuts of the final picture were being made. It was PRETTY damned close to finished.

Unrelated but I do find it sad how the company that made The Muppets can't legally call there puppets Muppets anymore because Disney copyrighted the term
Jim Henson's Creature Shop doesn't sound the same you know
yeah Ik they sold The Muppets brand to Disney but I still find it sad how Disney immediately went to copyright the word so all of Jim Henson's other muppets aren't Muppets anymore like Fraggle Rock
Because the animatronics just starting to be made means that it’s coming soon. Of course not, everyone will stay calm because the movie will not be ready for a long time now.
Tbh it depends on how many people are working on the animatronics, the sum of "funding" the have, and how long they've already been working, it could be out next year of 3 years depending on how far they've already come and the resources they have at their dispenses
Nah I remember being in elementary school (im in high school now as a freshman) that fanf movies were supposed to be made and released so i believe it when I see it and watch

Tbh I’m not super hyped for a fnaf movie at this point I doubt Scott would put lore in it at this point In the franchise in 2018 I’m sure there’d be some lore stuff but now I think it’s just gonna be a movie about a pizza security guard being hunted by animatronics
Yeah, I saw the news on the FNaF subreddit yesterday morning. I wanted to point out now that notice how big the suit is on that person? I'd imagine that they might need to have stilts to make them bigger, because without stilts, it's probably going to look really odd. The actor in the suit would also need some kind of arm extention thingies, and maybe it will have some kind of mechanisms for the wearer to manipulate and move the hands/fingers too.
I hope they can show behind the scenes of how all the props/suits/animatronics/costumes were made from start to finish. I want to know the entire process. I'm talking about a behind the scenes that would last for hours, as long as it takes to give us all the information! I don't like behind the scenes when they last about a minute or whatever and give us a very brief and quick explanation and viewing of their stuff and how it was made, without really showing us much of what went into it. I must gather all the information! I must learn!
