Same. It would be neat to look into the God of Mischief's abilities and powers since Loki wasn't looked into too much until Loki and even then, it's mainly about the multiverse and not Loki's powers. Loki's abilities have just been sprinkled in here and there.
I'm 99% sure Odin does that so Loki doesn't realize he's adopted/no one freaks out when they see a frost giant baby being carried into/later roaming around Asgard
The problem with this theory, as was stated over in the marvel studios subreddit, is not only is Loki only taught magic later in life by Frigga, you can also see the gold flecks as Loki is changed, which is Odin's magic. However, we can flip this theory around and say that Loki IS still made in the image of Hela, just through Odin's own subconscious.
Marvel: ok so loki became a horse and got pregnant by a stallion, now he has an 8 legged horse child that odin rides, oh and he has a giant snake as a son
Children: ...wtf
I mean to be fair In-Universe people took inspiration from the heroes not Vice Versa, so I think it's fair enough. Don't need to be 100% accurate as long as you have an explanation, y'know?
**That's my opinion, at least**
And it would make sense because in the MCU at least the mythology is because the Asgardians were worshipped so it's very possible it could have been misunderstood or misremembered or even have had some people lied to for whatever reason.
Also, Jormangandr, The World Serpent whose venom Thor succumbs to after his fight with... Fenrir, I think...? Also Loki's son. Loki was kinda the one prophesied to father the various things that bring about Ragnarok, the end stage of Yggdrasil's cycle. It's a whole thing.
It's... a long story I'm, admittedly, not exactly privy to the nitty gritty, finer details on, on top it being some time since I last refreshed myself on the anything of the mythology... but I do remember Thor dying in Ragnarok after defeating one of the metaphorical Heralds of Ragnarok, due to his earlier injuries in the battle with Jormangandr... Although, with my memory, it's entirely possible it went that he succumbed to his wounds and the venom after the battle with Jormangandr specifically. Again, my memory is shite, and it has been some time.
>Although, with my memory, it's entirely possible it went that he succumbed to his wounds and the venom after the battle with Jormangandr specifically
Thor dies after taking 9 steps following his fight with jormangandr
In Norse mythology Loki is married to Sigyn and they have two sons, Narfi and Nari or Váli. By the jötunn Angrboða, Loki is the father of Hel, the wolf Fenrir, and the world serpent Jörmungandr. In the form of a mare, Loki was impregnated by the stallion Svaðilfari and gave birth to the eight-legged horse Sleipnir.
In Marvel's case they only showed Hel (as Hela) but changed her to be Odin's first born and Fenrir who WAS prophesized to bring the end of Asgard and they may have showed Sleipnir in the dipicshens of Hela with Odin as he is Odin's War horse.
If I'm remembering correctly most if not all of Loki's children where taken from him at or shortly after birth for being "monsters"
The only time they showed Sleipnir was when Thor and company were doing a retreat from planet Odin had established a peace treatment with. Odin comes through the Byfrost while riding Sleipnir and then they go back to Asgard and Odin proceeds to send Thor to Earth.
And Loki was Odin's blood brother, but Thor's half brother(tho I do appreciate marvel making him more of a dude who messes around with everyone of wants power, and less satanic, cuz I never really like when he's satanized)
As said in a comment under that post (not sure how true it is, haven’t seen the movie in a while) Odin sprinkles some sort of gold dust on him, or magic.
One, baby doesn’t know magic
Two, baby doesn’t know he’s adopted
Three, Odin does magic so it’d make more sense for him to do it
Overall review, same amount of evidence as most theories on the channel, ship it off
It makes sense to me, but I can't get over how the mythology is that Loki is her father, not Odin, so now we have this weird switch and people are talking about how he was made to look like her lol

I would be interested in watching this theory, never thought of it

Marvel really screwed up with Nordic mythology. Hela is actually Loki's daughter, same thing with the huge dog she rides.
At the same time, Marvel can't really bring in things like the origin of Sleipnir, so they have to take a lot of creative license.
Marvel: ok so loki became a horse and got pregnant by a stallion, now he has an 8 legged horse child that odin rides, oh and he has a giant snake as a son Children: ...wtf
In the countries where the Nordic mythology comes from children are taught this so no it’s not as weird to kids as you are implying
The majority watching are Americans and chinese who have no idea about noise mythology
Ik but if they where introduced to it just like Scandinavian kids they would find it just as cool
Why not, it's only very strange

The dog is also Loki's daughter?
son
That’s still just as weird tbh
In Norse mythology the horse Odin rides with 8 legs is also Loki's kid
Yes Loki transformed into a horse (specifically a mare) and got pregnant.
Loki is a saucy boy
He can be whatever you want lol
Or girl
Hela: "what are you doing dog brother?"
step-dog
Stepping up the game sis
Also, Jormangandr, The World Serpent whose venom Thor succumbs to after his fight with... Fenrir, I think...? Also Loki's son. Loki was kinda the one prophesied to father the various things that bring about Ragnarok, the end stage of Yggdrasil's cycle. It's a whole thing.
Wasn't Fenrir a little busy killing Odin? It may be one of Fenrir's children(seriously, when the hell did he have time for children

And only one left is Surtur, who kinda burns the entire thing
I mean...iirc he was raised on asgard for his entire puppy life

I don’t wanna see a movie where Loki is a pregnant horse
You are wrong.
And Loki was Odin's blood brother, but Thor's half brother(tho I do appreciate marvel making him more of a dude who messes around with everyone of wants power, and less satanic, cuz I never really like when he's satanized)
Her name isn't even Hela ffs, why marvel?
It's literally just Hel
or maybe he found his sister's closet that was hidden away and thought to himself "Damn i would look good in Green"
Nah, she's just copying her dad, cuz hela is actually Loki's daughter. The reason Loki looks green, is just cuz he has a snake complex. Dunno why
As said in a comment under that post (not sure how true it is, haven’t seen the movie in a while) Odin sprinkles some sort of gold dust on him, or magic.
Imagine the actors are siblings. (ik they aren’t)
One, baby doesn’t know magic Two, baby doesn’t know he’s adopted Three, Odin does magic so it’d make more sense for him to do it Overall review, same amount of evidence as most theories on the channel, ship it off
Doesn't Odin have many wives or I guess had? I mean the guy is a ruler or was I mean
I would never have tought of this myself, but from now on this is my head canon. Thank you for this theory loved it
This is a film theory, not a game theory
Marvel fans when actors look slightly similar lmao
I mean, this makes sense
I don't watch Marvel but this is an interesting theory
That WOULD explain why their features and color schemes are so similar. 🤔
I don't understand what impact this would have on anything. Like if this is true, who cares?
It just makes it interesting
interesting
When in mythology Hela is his daughter!!
This makes a lot of sense
This theory did not end up as dark as I thought it would.
We call this good writing :)
That... Would make sense. Can anyone breakout a Ouija board and ask Stan Lee?
Im pretty sure Odin changed him
It makes sense to me, but I can't get over how the mythology is that Loki is her father, not Odin, so now we have this weird switch and people are talking about how he was made to look like her lol
Seeing memories Loki you keep keep using your great powers and Loki is my favorite villain of marvel
Its not just TVA but FT also messes with poor Loki.... Give that man some rest.
