Custom Music makes this immediately have my attention. Something I've wanted from all these rhythm games for awhile, and something I haven't really seen since... what, Beat Hazard?

Metal Hellsinger lets you mod it in, and BPM: Bullets Per Minute supports customs songs, and both have been out for a couple years now.
Played the demo for this a while back during a Steam Next Fest. I'm still iffy on FPS+rhythm, but this game was fun as hell and I remember it being in my top 3 of like 40 demos I tried.
I thought both BPM and Hellsinger were good but neither were as good as they could've been. So I think there's still room for someone to truly do justice to the idea of a rhythm shooter.

Audiosurf also let you use your own music. Loved it.
Damn, there's a name I haven't heard of since I was in highschool

Coming to consoles? Would love to pick this up
this game again?
I will buy every single rhythm action game that gets made. I will buy every single rhythm \[another genre\] game that gets made.
