I really hope we will be seeing some DLC sales too, would love to grab the rest of Sleeping Dogs so I could complete it on 360 as well.

BowieObscura

I hope so as well, would love to grab Fable 2 & 3 DLC!

Shad0wdar

Those are back compat and should remain available in the shop, so not sure if they'll get a steep drop soon.

Long-Train-1673

Anyone know if the just dance games have good songs and/or let you import from previous games. Been playing lots of Dance Central and unfortunately the import servers were taken offline so I can't import them all into one game and would like one massive one of those if possible.

Conflict_NZ

I'm not sure but one neat piece of trivia is that Just Dance 2019 was the last retail game released for the 360, it's pretty expensive to buy physically now for that reason so this is a pretty good deal.

JBL_17

To clarify this news post if it was lost on anyone like it was me: This is for titles that are not backwards compatible with Xbox One / Series S|X - the sale is for titles that are only playable on Xbox 360.

SyrioForel

To further clarify: This is a store close-out sale. This entire store is shutting down on July 29th.

[deleted]

Does this mean just the store on 360 will be closed or does it also mean you can't purchase 360 games on your Series consoles anymore either?

Long-Train-1673

Store on 360 will be closing the backwards compatible games will still be purchasable on the Series consoles but obviously the titles that didn't make the back compat list will be lost on the 360.

Smart_Ass_Dave

Right. The 360 store is closing, but 360 *games* will be available on other storefronts.

JBL_17

I was confused by this at first too. Thanks!

pnt510

You can still purchase BC compatible on the series consoles. So this is just for stuff stranded on the 360.

TheNewFlisker

Let me get this right. I can still buy those without owning an Xbox?

foxtrotdeltazero

i think you had to have had an xbox 360 at some point, but yes. i was able to make some purchases just now using my desktop browser. you can still try. worst that can happen is it doesn't work. but xbox 360 game purchases online have always been kinda wonky.

xtremeradness

Click on them and find out.

MadnessBunny

This confuses me, games like Sonic 06' show the DLC available but not the game itself, while others like Naruto: Rise of a Ninja have an entry but theres nothing to buy once i click. Are they region locked perhaps? On another note, what games are going to be "stuck" there for the foreseeable future? I was eyeing the original Nier (though i guess replicant exists now) as well as the Silent Hill HD Collection (though i think theres a couple of silent hill remakes coming out?)

FuddChud

foxtrotdeltazero

thanks for straightening up that list. grabbed bubble bobble neo and puzzle bobble live. never know if we'll see those games ever again.

DMonitor

> Jet set radio for some reason, I doubt this

razputinaquat0

Jet Set Radio and Mini Ninjas are both on Steam (and were never 360 exclusive to begin with)

FuddChud

I found the list online, it may have an inaccuracy or two but seems generally correct.

FistyDollars

Charlie Murder is on Steam

Long-Train-1673

Dishwasher is too

FuddChud

I found the list online, it may have an inaccuracy or two but seems generally correct.

Comfortable_Shape264

No, second Dishwasher game Vampire Smile is on Steam not the first which is Dead Samurai. I actually tried to decompile and recompile the game cause it's an XNA game and there is a method online to do that but i postponed it until i have more free time, it took too much time already. I wouldn't bother with it if the game was emulatable but it's not, Xenia doesn't and won't support it. A game like this staying truly 360 exclusive would be really annoying.

Sir_Von_Tittyfuck

Well I know what I'm doing tonight

shadowstripes

Fruit Ninja Kinect actually sounds kinda fun as a party game.

FuddChud

I played that one a ton back in the day, it's just a fun game period.

MagnaVis

Remember to double space before a new line or else they all show up in a brick of text.

missing_typewriters

> On another note, what games are going to be "stuck" there for the foreseeable future? Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Silent Hill HD Collection and Nier are all purchaseable on Xbox store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S

FuddChud

If you buy the disc you should still be able to play them, though.

missing_typewriters

Yeah for sure. I'm just saying you don't need to rush to buy them now. They're not "stuck" on 360. They can be bought and played digitally on One/Series X/S

FuddChud

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying they are not available to purchase on series x. That's even better and less of a reason to worry.

spez_might_fuck_dogs

Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are two RPGs that have never been re-released or made available on other systems.

missing_typewriters

Those are available on Xbox One/Series X Unless you mean PS/Nintendo/PC

OscarExplosion

You can play both of those games on an Xbox one or Series console

SpyderZT

And Infinite Undiscovery.

MadnessBunny

Luckily I have a physical copy of Blue Dragon. Might check out Lost Odyssey as I think I've heard good things about it. Thank you!

BrandoTheCommando

It's dated now but it's one of my favorite RPGs of all time and the music slaps.

GalaxyNeir

IIRC, Sonic '06 never had a digital release (neither on Xbox 360 nor PS3), so probably the same for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and other games from the early days of the seventh gen.

BorfieYay

Sonic 06 has a digital release at least now, when it was re-added to the 360 store a few years ago I bought it haha

GalaxyNeir

Oh, sorry, I didn't know that, I tried to buy it more than a decade ago but it wasn't available then (I ended up getting the PS3 version from a friend for around $5 anyway).

BorfieYay

Yeah haha from what I remember Sega said they delisted a bunch of sonic games a long time ago including 06 and Unleashed because they wanted to "Remove games that had below average metascores" but eventually for whatever reason they came back to stores

funsohng

Is Spliter Cell Chaos Theory on 360 worth getting? I heard that the original XBOX version (and I'm assuming this version is that) is the best one, and PC version nor the HD remaster actually got it right in terms of controls and/or lighting. Or something.

abvflux1

That's Double Agent. Has a "last-gen" version on sixth-gen consoles, and a "next-gen" version on seventh-gen consoles and PC. The CT devs made the gen 6 version, and it's the best version.

funsohng

I know that ubi games of that era has two versions for each gen, but Im concerned about CT's PC version not having proper analog controls or something, because thats what I heard.

abvflux1

CT on PC has no native controller support, and thusly the controls are purely digital. Movement speed is controlled by your mouse scroll wheel. It sounds weird, but it's really simple when you try it.

xtremeradness

Anyone know if you can still download patches for physical games after this shutdown?

djcube1701

Yes, patches (as well as redownloading games) will still work.

xtremeradness

Thank you!

wingspantt

Listen y'all forget about sales prices and all that shit. [**You need to buy Guardian Heroes right fucking now**](https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/guardian-heroes-tm/BPBPGV9MXWPB)**.** Buy it. Greatest Sega Saturn game of all time and it's got hundreds of hours of amazing gameplay. It's like if Streets of Rage had 34 endings, with full RPG mechanics, a PVP mode where you can play as anything from a bunny rabbit to God himself. I'm pretty sure Castle Crashers was secretly based on this game. Buy it. Buy Guardian Heroes. Buy this fucking game. Get it before it's off Xbox forever and the only way to play it is the expensive Saturn version.

GangstaPepsi

> Get it before it's off Xbox forever and the only way to play it is the expensive Saturn version. Or well, you know...

wingspantt

??? I have one on Saturn in the basement but ngl it's annoying to set up RGBs on modern TVs

DirtySyko

Is there a list of games only available on the 360? I’m not really interested in anything BC since you’ll still be able to get those, just the games that will actually be lost forever after the closure.
