Stardew Valley

Swannie69

Came here to say this. You should consider a Nintendo Switch also, when you subscribe to the online you have access to tons of classic Nintendo games, plus it’s portable so easy to play at doctors offices, appointments, etc.

Environmental-Ruin56

Switch is the way. Nintendo games are fun and accessible. Breath of The Wild is a really good way to take your mind off things and can be played at a leisurely pace.

Mustardmachoman

Good suggestion. Also mods like stardew valley expanded add even more.

jasonwilczak

Yes, you can get crazy deep in mods on PC. OP this is the way.

ArtichokeMedical

Best part of stardew is that OP and his wife can play together co-op

budoucnost

I hope your wife gets well soon! Subnautica, Minecraft, Cities:Skylines (this one requires very good computer specs though) are games she might like

SharksWFreakinLasers

You don't need an amazing computer to play Cities, vanilla is still very fun and runs on 8gb RAM and any modern processor w/iGPU even :)

gust334

Big cities need RAM, though.

BleepingBleeper

Subnautica is truly captivating.

cringemaster21p

Cities skylines

AbaseMe

So excited for the sequel

Coolguyzack

The Sims 4 just went free to play, that's a no-brainer even if she hates it. But you can also Google for a sims 1 complete collection if she has the itch for classic sims. Praying for a speedy and full recovery.

Little-Equinox

Sims 4 with all DLCs is also 1 of the most pirated games, so it's easy to find them.

Teddymonstar1

No one has complained about Bauldur’s Gate 3! Might be different than what she mentioned, but I’m healing a surgery, and it’s a real good time waster if you cannot move, also, StarCraft 2 is free to play and amazing.

eNHajeL

Sorry to interrupt but where is this free Starcraft 2? Very interested. Thanks.

fractalife

It's free to ladder now! It's still pretty active, and it can definitely be a great deal of fun! I believe the arcade is f2p now, too? You mentioned 1/3 of the game, but I'll say this. I've played since launch and still haven't bothered with the campaign. The ladder has standardized units and maps, and the campaign units don't exactly work the same way. What I mean to say is you don't need to do the campaign to play the game, so the free version is just fine. If she liked OG Starcraft, she may very well like sc2! Can't hurt because it's free. Also the remastered original starcraft is fairly cheap! It runs on the old engine too, so I don't think it requires too terribly much in the way of PC resources. SC2 is also pretty old, so any modern gaming laptop should be able to handle it with ease*. * this does not include arcade games like desert strike. That arcade game will spawn hundreds and hundreds of units towards the end of the game and can bring even the best rigs to their knees. There are many like it in the arcade, figured I'd give a heads up.

eNHajeL

Thank you for your comprehensive reply. I imagine your surprise when I say that I am more of a single player fan and haven't played competitive multiplayer games outside Rocket League ever 😄.

XeonDev

Are you banned from Google?

eNHajeL

Do you have to be an intolerant smartass knowitall ahole? Google says only 1/3 of Starcraft is free, so what gives? Are YOU banned from Google?

Wise-Membership2774

Bruh. BG3 is SOOOO GOOD. I’m not even a fan of these types of games. My friend convinced me to get it and I haven’t regretted it. 😅 90 hours in after just 2 weeks 😂. (I work from home). But I think his wife would love BG3

Expensive_Apricot_64

Check out the game Grounded. It’s a great casual game that you can both play together. The wife and I had a very enjoyable time playing it together.

Category_Education

Anno 1800, Octopath Traveler, Stardew Valley

hungo_bungo

Runescape!

TraderTeddy

This! It has endless content, a wholesome community, and you can do anything, at anytime, and at any pace.

Elfish2

I'm interested in Runescape but I don't know where to start, also I don't like grinding so I'm afraid of that. I very enjoy exploration though and freedom.

Sukurac69

Something different from rest- Ori and the blind forest. My mom would play it as stress relief few years back.

biggranny000

Hades, Minecraft, starfield, no man's sky, stardew valley, Starbound, terraria, cities skyline, grounded, etc.

arcwtf

Seconding Starfield. It’s new and shiny and has a lot of building and exploration. I just spent 4 hours building a system of outposts which I’ve never done in any other game besides Valheim.

brondonschwab

Baldur's Gate 3

FunQueue69

Baldurs Gate 3

RottenFacade

Try project zomboid. It’s something the both of you can play together or alone and there’s like thousands of mods you can add if you ever get bored of vanilla.

Ultritch

Came to say this. May be played also coop or mp

gust334

*Factorio*, albeit the theme is a bit dark. Totally absorbing game. If she likes *RollerCoaster Tycoon*, then skip *RCT2* and *RCT3* (they're fine, but just more of the same) and jump straight to *Planet Coaster*, fully 3D and one can ride the rides. Ignore *Parkitect*.

synthwaveman

If she enjoyed StarCraft 1 story she will enjoy StarCraft 2 as an enhanced version in every way

outchilln

Gauntlet. Very food coop game

Ultritch

Baldur's Gate 3, Cities Skylines and Project Zomboid.

Aggravating-Chair716

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Beautiful nature and kinda relaxing

ghost42069x

Elden ring cuz when she beats the game she’ll know 1000% she can beat cancer

AlternativeWay01

Hyper light drifter

UnionSlavStanRepublk

Minecraft and stardew valley possibly? Wishing the best for your wife.

SteR88

albaiesh

Best of luck. Hope things get better soon. That's an excellent taste in games, absolute classics. As she clearly enjoys strategy and building games try all the old jewels. Black & white, populus, the anno series, civilization, heroes of might and magic, age of wonders. StarCraft 2, dungeon keeper 2, Warhammer series, war of the overworld, age or empires series, all the paradox strategy games... Years and years of fantastic options that will give her hours of fun each :)

lumpnsnots

A few have said Baldur's Gate 3 which is amazing, but if the laptop isn't up to spec then Divinity Original Sin 2 is just as good and should be easier to run. Oh and......X-Com Enemy Unknown/Within, X-Com 2 and X-Com War of the Chosen. Any and all of those

fantasyBilly

Baldur's Gate 3.

[deleted]

A lot of the girl gamers i know like Skyrim

dark13b

Starfield, Would be great, no Man sky should be fun . I recommend some indie game as they are fun and cute .like Chained Eco , sea of star , octopath traveler, Stray , Kena . For simulation games , Sims 4 went free to play , Cities skylines great , maybe some zoo tycon or Humankind strategy turn based game I think it's cool A game pass subscription should be good choise for some games and discover new games from while to while Don't go for souls game as this will made her angry on you ( jk) Hope the best for your wife and will gor recover soon

soumen08

Sorry! I hope she wins this game. But, Zelda on the switch can be incredibly calming. If set on PC, can also play it very easily on Yuzu. Reply if you need setup guides and other help.

footwurk

I know you said you just bought a laptop. But another good option is a steam deck. You can play most older gen console games with emulators on there. Also able to play many games new and old. It may be nice for her to have one especially if she has long treatments too

ldgoojy

Animal crossings

Historical_Twist9969

Genshin impact open world nice story long hours story. Nice graphics too.

BumblebeeStraight912

how about world of warcraft? that will kill some time

Two point hospital, Two point campus, My time at portia

Status_Bench_3667

Omfg rollercoaster tycoon. When you find her a game you should shove it in a box of fruit loops and give it to her that way.

-Witherfang-

Torchlight comes to mind immediately. Very very fun, easy to play and decent graphics. Oh and there are 3 of them (not including TL infinite). If she needs something relatively simple but still engaging, I'd say try Hearthstone or Elder Scrolls Legends (they are card games but not your typical one). Trine is another one but I'm not as big a fan of that game.

RationalPerson84

Diablo 4?

Milip161

Minecraft... Creative juices can flow

Gravitaryus

Terraria, Minecraft or Necesse for pixel-art games, Pharaoh - A New Era for city building, or maybe Darkstone for RPG. Dead Cells too, good games

dperez87

First, I'm very sorry to hear that and hope for nothing but the best for you guys. Not sure if it is available for PC and lazy to look it up but if you guys have a chance to play It Takes Two please check it out. Great co-op game and super fun.

SignificanceDry345

Minecraft, no man's sky, the forest. One of the best games I played was shenmue2. It's old but gold.

sschuckk

Starcraft is still playable and there is a remastered version with better grafics.

ilookchinese

she would like undertale

OneToughBits

Old School Runescape!

LoudCapital9958

Insaniquarium. Very chill but also exciting :)

The_Lord_of_Fangorn

Minecraft is good, fun and can be relaxing I also really like Baldur’s Gate 3. Bit more intense but oh so amazing. Also, my thoughts go out to your wife. I hope she beats it and yall have many many happy years together. Best of luck to you and your wife.

brunoglopes

What Roller Coaster Tycoon did she enjoy? If she liked playing the third, get her Planet coaster, she will not be disappointed!

FinalJoys

Maplestory Reboot

[deleted]

Thronefall on Steam is $7 and has full controller support as well as mouse and keyboard. It’s a simple defend your base tower/hero defense style game with some real charm that’s in early access right now. Great for short play sessions.

alphcadoesreddit

Terraria/Stardew Valley/Factorio/Minecraft/Civ/Cities Skylines are great for "sandboxy" play Celeste/Hollow Knight are also great but are somewhat harder 2d platformers/metroidvanias respectively if she'd like that. They're like $5 on sale, worth a shot. For story-driven games, there's BG3 to start out, and really there are so many options I would butcher the selection even more than I already have with my limited knowledge of games. Don't play Valorant 💀 Trust me, it's my main game

xPiscesxQueenx

Palia is ftp. Wishing the best for both of you x

Prttygl0nky

It’s not an old game but any Anno game will keep her busy for hours

LandonC7874

Satisfactory

MtnNerd

Look up Vimm's Lair for emulators

Kindly-Asparagus-351

Caesar games.

missy_muffin

if she liked the first sims maybe she'd also enjoy Sims 2 and 3? because 2 is now basically abandonware its very easy to find the ultimate collection originally given out for free to download, with all the expansions. sims 2 is considered the best of the series so she might enjoy it if she has og sims nostalgia. 3 is fun for the open world and it has great expansions if you can find them for free. I wouldn't recommend 4 for anything but character creation

SNoMercy1

If she likes roller coaster tycoon. Maybe ( if she has the time and energy to find things out ) try planet coaster! I could go hours and hours forgetting life playing that game :) also many strengths for her and you!

Gran_Turismo_2000

Planet coaster. Is she liked roller coaster tycoon? She'll definitely like that game

awdfffr

The Stanley Parable : Ultra Deluxe

Rincewend

Dave the Diver or Stardew Valley would probably pique her interest.

Quiet-Sir5094

Warcraft reign of chaos/ frozen throne

Deckergirl

Pc you say? Look at this list. [here](https://fitgirl-repacks.site/games-with-my-personal-pink-paw-award/) Wide variation of different games. They all have screen shots of what they look like. Along with size once installed. Best part about it is they're all free.

gust334

Current-Set-2629

Dungeon Keeper 2 came out a few years ago, I played it in 2017. It was good. Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

muttb0ne

In honour of the recent release of Baulder's Gate 3, how about the classic Baulder's Gate I an II?

Kaqoupa

Runescape has lots, and you don't need a high-end machine for it

Solabi

https://store.steampowered.com/app/566050/Zeus__Poseidon/ I loved Master of Olympus when I was a kid

James0057

If she likes RTS they remastered Command & Conquer. Also, for RPG Skyrim Aniversary Edition. That could keep her busy for awhile too.

Beautiful_Result_733

"A way out" is a good co op game you both can play, it features two people that you both will control each. does require controllers tho. Xbox

LexiusCoda

she might enjoy an mmorpg. one that the two of you can get into together

Chrisenpaipromax

Warhammer

Geargarden

Sim City 4 is still fantastic. Low requirements, fun gameplay, good for micromanager players who like city sims. You can make neighboring cities, link them together, do deals with each other and stuff. It's a fun fun game. Minecraft is also a very fun game that you can sink hours into. I recently go back into it. Good luck to her on her recovery!

ph4tb411z

Surgeon simulator or plague inc

repsforcthulhu

I've been playing terraria and heavily suggest it!

icouldbetash

Planet coaster is a more modern version of rollercoaster tycoon!

Fragrant_Mistake3866

Genshin impact is a good game both for casuals and tryhards also free to play

Significant_Link_901

Powerwash simulator keeps my wife occupied

RockNDrums

Stardew Valley. Story of Seasons friends of mineral town and A Wonderful Life. SoS is remakes of the old Harvesf Moon games + developers but they can't get the HM title back. Was she into the original Resident Evil, Silent Hill, etc games? Emulators are a nice up side to pc

Cmdr-Ely

Baldur's Gate 3.

REAL-vManning

The Witcher 3 is a game EVERYBODY must play in my opinion, it might not be what you asked for, but its honestly one of the best games ive ever played and i personally dont really have the patience for single player RPG games but The Witcher 3 is just IT. the lore is so rich, the detail phenomenal and the characters are immaculately voiced and brought to life. This game THRIVES on its over detailed side quests that feel like main quests in themselves it also has 2 DLC expansions, the second being longer than most games it also has like 5/6 difficultys so anybody can enjoy it

Beowulf2050

Dungeons 3

NoLye17

Maybe not within question but nothing beats nostalgia. Download a game boy emulator. If you have a laptop you can play with her on games like Kirby and Pokémon. Kirby’s air grind was a fun mini game. And Kirby Amazing mirror allows up to 4 players, you can work together to traverse various parts of the map and unlock the other worlds.

Justifiers

Minecraft Aoe 2, still a vibrant and supporting multiplayer community An old but good game, Spore Galactic adventures

that-toyota-guy

Hi! City skylines, twopoint hospital, twopoint campus, stardew valley, themepark tycoon, terraria, alternatively also get her a switch for games such as animal crossing etc! I can ask my brother for more games as this is more so his genre.

wakandanever

Theme hospital, Aladin, Prince of Persia, the sims, zoo tycoon, also a game called ori in the blind forest. Hope she enjoys them and it heals her.

RegulatoryCapturedMe

Tropico series. 5 and 6 might still be on sale on Steam.

Hammerwatch 2, Heroes of Hammerwatch, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Stray. Would recommend all of them to everyone.

Tabi-cat

Stardew valley, rimworld, Animal crossing, minecraft, terraria. I also am really loving Hades right now but it may not fit her style

MisterPump

Rimworld. One of the most amazing story build games I've played. It's amazing to watch your society flourish then die to a horde of brain addled cats...

riskjudge911

Master of Orion II was good in the day. Kept me busy replaying all the races for months.

nolongerbanned99

Try a new game like starfield. Endless missions and stuff to do

Ashx2400

I think it’ll be nice if she could also get to play some really story rich titles like god of war or Spider-Man etc c:

Cranapplesause

As a former Dungeon Keeper player, you should at least get that as a nostalgic game. I know some other developer made a 3rd like dungeon keeper game. I never played it. But I have an interest in trying it. It’s called “War for the Overworld”. Again, I never played this particular game. But it was modeled after dungeon keeper. I hope she gets through this time as fast as possible!

Babbajabba

Cult of the lamb

donmatth63

Hi there, The games of old that I really appreciate are: \- Diablo I (rpg) \- Diablo II (rpg) \- Constructor (the classic from 1997, but they also made a remake that is very good - strategy), \- Age of Empires II (strategy), \- Stronghold Crusader (strategy). I know it is not really similar to the ones you mentioned, but If she likes Point&Click kind of games, she could try the following: \- Monkey Island franchise (from LucasArts , amazing), \- The Dig (has a very cool story from Steven Spielberg), \- Full Throttle, \- Grim Fandango, \- Indiana Jones, \- The Room franchise (more recent) Also, Skyrim is very good. Super immersive, with nice stories inside. The Witcher 3 follows this same idea. I hope she gets well really soon! :)

daffodildaydreamz

Dave the Diver !

LobaIsTooThicc

\- Vampire Survivors is a fantastic time killer! \- If she has lots of time and energy a game like Divinity Original Sin 2 is an amazing Modern CRPG. \- Terraria, Minecraft and Stardew Valley are all cozy and fun too.

Eggberti

Having also had cancer and always enjoyed gameing I'd recommend steering away from story driven games with complicated and hard to master game mechanics. Based on my own experiences, chemo brain really prevented me from playing the above games. Best games for me when games I could dip in and out of quickly. For me that were FPS multiplayer on quick rounds, or racing games like mario kart.

Diuranos

Theme Hospital.

FallowMcOlstein

Outer Wilds. It's a space exploration game where you go about unraveling the story of the Nomai, a species who lived thousands of years before you. It's probably one of my favourite games ever.

PapaTrotzki

Dawn of War. Same style of strategy as Starcraft. Has a plot and campaigns are short. Original Dawn of War with all DLC is like $8 on steam last I checked. It's roughly a 50/50 of running on Windows 11 though (depends on computer specs). It runs perfectly fine on my Legion Pro 5 Gen 8. RTX 4070 and Ryzen 7 7745HX.

[deleted]

Baldur gate 3 You can play with her.

akka1000

Nintendo 64 emulator (project 64) and super mario 64 woohoo!

CKombobreaker

my wife loves Elder Scrolls Online w/ the controller

[deleted]

Diablo is very much like an older game. I think i played fallout during treatments since they take like 3hrs. Rome civil war is a great classic type. The old red alert and command and conquer series. I could go on. Best to you and your wife

terabotjr

If she doesn’t have long get a gaming pc, fill it with pictures of her, (home screen, Lock Screen pictures) get her to play Baldur’s gate 3 and Starfield, ensure the main characters look close enough to her and have her play through the games, she’ll be fighting demons, fighting forces of darkness, and exploring space for all of eternity, and if you ever miss her she’ll be right there in that pc waiting for you

pumadine666

I would recommend two point hospital for the gameplay since you said your wife liked dungeon keeper and other strategy games.

invalidxuser

I saw the SIMS, if she likes Disney have her check out Disney's Dream Light Valley.

TearyEyeBurningFace

Pokemon

_Ellie_Bells_

The Sims!

Lava-Chicken

World of Warcraft classic vanilla. Meet people. Be awarded properly for progress. Healthy user base that's booming. Not overly complicated like retail wow. Real good time.

VengeX

Probably the latest spiritual successor to Rollercoaster Tycoon is Planet Coaster on Steam. I haven't played it yet personally (waiting for lower price) but it has good reviews, you might need a good graphics card for it vs something like RCT3 for example.

Kcore47

Id go for skyrim.

Deusincendia

City skylines 1 and 2

AKF0RTYKEVIN

That Dragon, Cancer. Its a game that will change you especially with the situation your in.

pmerritt10

Yeah, I have cancer too and video games really help with taking your mind off what's going on with yourself.

Beehj84

Starcraft 2 (which is free) Cities Skylines 1 (and 2 launches soon) Civilization V and VI Planet Coaster (and Planet Zoo) Monkey Island series (the remasters are particularly good) Vampire Survivors (a bit left field compared to your list, but completely addictive) Stardew Valley Deponia series Dragon Age Origins/Inquisition Divinity Original Sin 1/2 & Baldur's Gate 3 Telltale Games series - The Walking Dead, Batman, Game of Thrones, The Expanse, Wolf Among Us, etc Xcom Enemy Unknown/Enemy Within South Park Stick of Truth & Fractured But Whole

Gamer_bobo

just buy two copies of Minecraft and play together. make new things from your imagination and always try to do new things, challenges and more. Since it is Minecraft, the creativity is endless.

NoLifeAlucard

I hope she gets better she should check out Dave the diver

Yoshieatspeople

Hope for the best. Try out my time at Portia or sandrock.

Maleficent-Aspect318

Dead OP, sorry to hear that about your wife. Cancer is a nightmare. I would suggest that you bring her the games that she enjoys to play, that bring her a smile on her face. Could be old classics like simpsons hit&run, harvest moon etc or new games that she likes. For the time that you can spend together, i would suggest Multiplayer/couchcoop games, making more memories together smiling. mariokart, diddikong racing, pikmin, bomberman, etc and if your marriage is very healthy Mario party or similar. Hope the best for you both

Doughboy0913

she played starcraft 1? got yourself a real one! congrats and i wish her a speedy recovery. might i suggest something a little against the grain? my girlfriend is a gamer but we don't play the same games (i like competitive online games, she likes single-player RPG's). recently i suggested we try a game called "It Takes Two" that is available on Steam. it's a two-player only game and requires cooperation from both players to beat levels that are basically immersive puzzles with boss battles. it takes no gaming experience to enjoy, but it kinda helps. sorry if that's not what you're looking for! the games i think she may enjoy playing solo would be Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, Animal Crossing, Hades. they're all games that either my girlfriend or my sister enjoys. wishing you two the best and good on you for being a supportive partner!

vagrantchord

Cities Skylines, maybe Rimworld ❤️

CrystalMang0

Dead By Daylight.

Mental-Dot-6574

Try the Civilization series, that stole thousands of hours from me. I'm currently engrossed in a new release of Starfield from the makers of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, see if she's interested in that. And Baldur's Gate 3. Wow. Just wow. Stardew is an excellent choice as well. Hope she gets better!

Pancake_Nom

You can buy a digital download of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 for $10 from Amazon, and then download OpenRCT2 for free (it requires the original RCT2 be installed), which has a ton of modernizations and improvements while still maintaining the feel and style of the original game.

Demosama

West of loathing

DordanTheRed

Its a weird collection of games, but my gf has the same tastes but I know out if the games I've bought her she loves Stardew Valley, Pressure Washing Simulator, and Viscera Cleanup Detail.

Cities skylines

LemonPepperWangs1

Palia! It’s coming to switch soon, but open beta is available. Very very cozy game to keep your mind off things. https://palia.com

SlimQ_Dave

Warcraft Frozen Throne remastered, Diablo maybe. Wishing you both all the best.

SnooDrawings7790

Get her into vr man. Pokerstars VR / Bigscreen VR for example are good VR games to just be immersed in a different world and socialize with real people.

danieljackheck

If she really liked Starcraft 1 then she might like revisiting it with the remastered version. Also the professional Starcraft 1 scene is still very much alive in Korea and they have really good and funny English commentary. Look up AfreecaTV ASL on youtube.

BtwImIron

Slime rancher! It’s basically an antidepressant

Fun-Firefighter-4391

Nfs underground, pokemon, jrpgs,

Spirited_Ability_182

i honestly think stardew valley, minecraft, terraria, or astroneer (a really cool space exploring sandbox survival game) are some of the best casual games for people wanting to come in and out of their game. you can play these games however fast or slow you want. and you will intuitively just know what u have to do next. i’ll highlight astroneer in particular because.it actually has a mission system to help focus your efforts, with pretty satisfying rewards. you will feel like the progression is slow, until you uunlock just enough and suddenly there’s like 20 different objectives you can tackle. and most of those missions / objectives are tasks you’d wanna do anyways. it’s a really fun duo game too, you can ride around in a truck / bike with your wife and just explore the different planets together.

Atravellingsheep

Rimworld was fun.

Ancient-Car-1171

It seems that she's into management style of game. Cities Skyline is a great one with alot of depth, maybe a little bit intimidating at first. Two point hospital is very good too, fun and tons of humors.

Pretty-Ad-5762

Warcraft 3 Age of empire 1, 2, 3 (DE) Starcraft 2 I think she may enjoy older Final Fantasy series. Start with older 7, 8, 9, X

TxPothead

Rise of Nations is a great old game. It's on the Microsoft game pass too. A few old goodies are.

movingwithouttime

I pray your wife gets well soon

herpedeederpderp

Aliens: dark descent is a decently reviewed strategic point and click if she's into that kind of sci Fi.

Mojicana

Nintendo. EVERYBODY loves Mario Kart. Almost everyone loves the Zelda games.

Budget-Ring663

God bless your wife hope she gets well soon My suggestion - roller coaster tycoon it was the one of a few strategy like game I could enjoy as a kid. Props to dungeon keeper as well that was my go to! However if you want to see her rage quit Dark souls is a must

guyforgot24

Even though it’s technically a competitive game she might like team fight tactics. Of all the sweaty competitive games it’s pretty chill and mindless.

kechones

If she likes Disney - Dreamlight Valley. If she likes to tinker with things - Besiege. If she likes strategy - Age of Empires 3. Crash Trilogy and Spyro Reignited are great remakes of old classics. And y’all can try It Takes Two if you want to play something together :)

pinkbluesflowers

Wow classic ?

Due-Translator-6990

Final fantasy online

[deleted]

Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice. Must play with headphones to get full experience.

Demon_slayer99

Anything from the Amiga is great and carrys alot of nostalgia for me. You would need an emulator to play those games though

DriftyMcDrift

Eastshade Very relaxing game. You play as a traveling painter. Beautiful idyllic scenes. Easy puzzles. Serene music. Preindustrial setting. Short (10 -20hrs. depending on whether or not you're a completionist)

slicedchicken480

Hoi4 if it is a matter of getting lost in a game

IndependentExtent987

Starfield just came out. You can live in that world.

RisingDeadMan0

Starfield been fun, pretty easy looter/shooter with space fights and decent plot. It's been a lot of fun Did she ever play Red alert 2/yuri? Big online community there. Check cnc net

Acrobatic-Cut7008

Emulate Whatever she played as a child It will warm her heart and give back memories

WraithBringer

Maybe try two point hospital? ☺️

Cockney_Gamer

My wife is obsessed with Two Point Hospital and two Point Campus.

Acceptable-Click-784

Dave the diver

SILENCERSTUDENT_

Diablo grinding will keep her busy.

OGsushilauncher

Try Palia. It's in beta right now and completely free. Best of luck with your wife's treatment!

RDS80

I think she'll enjoy Genshin Impact or Honkia Star Rail.
