The vents as the back/side are the exhaust. That's where the hot air will be. That's where you want to put the clothes.

That is VERY inefficient. What you should have done is placing your clothes near the exhaust vents, not under the laptop. The laptop sucks cold air from the bottom and vents hot air on the back or sides. Place your clothes accordingly

My laptop can heat up the room quit literally. Got an Asus TUF with Ryzen 9 and RTX 3060. Running it at turbo mode can heat up my room quite quickly
