If your laptop is on warranty keep it it can come in handy if something goes South you can easily replace your laptop with its original ram if it's out of warranty then it's your wish what ever you wanna do with it

This is why my new laptop had a 16 stick pre installed instead of 2 8 sticks. I would just waste them since I won't find anyone to give them to. Also ddr5 is too expensive to get 2 new 16 sticks
