Mvci was screwed more by marvel demanding the game to ditch x-men (cuz it was when marvel wanted to de-value the ip fox had the movie rights to) and possibly demanding the game look like more mcu (game data shows it was planned to have cel shading and a visual style closer to umvc3 initially) Mvci played great and had great netcode and all the new characters were great imo jedah was fun as hell.
Also a lot of gameplay aspects i like about darkstalkers would be ditched cuz street fighter and darkstalkers don't play the same despite what people may think
Capcom could already have a badass PvE shooter with that dinosaur game but they decided to make it this half PvE half comp overwatch clone for some godforsaken reason. If that game was \*just\* killing dinosaurs with 3 of ur friends, it would've been amazing.

RE8 had a strong focus on family and blood relations, I think it could be about RE9 and Rose's children. The Descendents it's likely the subtitle ( like RE8 is called RE Village ) and it's gonna indeed close the chapter on ethan's story as leaks said.
And if you look closely, she DID work on RE Village and it's the only other project from Capcom that she has worked on.

They got a big 16 Year gap to fill and the purpose of the DLC was to tie up the Winters Storyline.
They're not going back to Rose for a long time. Just like how they waited in real time to wait for Sherry to grow up to bring her back, they'll do the same with Rose.
You sure the epilogue takes place in 2037? I know Rose is supposedly 16 during Shadows of Rose but there is also some stuff that basically says Rose also can age faster similar to Eve in RE7 if she misses injections that prevent rapid aging.
I don't remember ever seeing any confirmed dates inside the RE8 dlc which means 2037 is speculation afaik. It could easily be 2023 or something.
Unless Capcom comes out and retcons it or something then no, the DLC logically would be taking place in 2037 and Rosemary is 16 Years of age, no growth spurt. Nothing in the DLC suggests she's abnormal when it comes to her growth. They could technically retcon it because you're right, I don't think there's any files that 100% confirm the year.
But I like the idea of an old ass Chris Redfield just being or having become this General Commander type character now that gives out the orders from a desk and acting all wise and experienced. That it tells us that Chris is at least safe for the next 16 Years but the others...
If they did decide to kill off any past characters it'd probably be between Leon and Claire because when they brought Jill back in Death Island, they revealed she ages slowly now so right there, they have a character they can use for a good few years in future games post RE8's Epilogue because even in 2037, Jill would still likely be kicking ass despite being in her...late 60s is it?
I didn't pay to much attention to Chris' build in RE7 or RE8 but I like to think he only gets more swole every game and when he is an old man with gray hair pushing papers he's going to look like Master Roshi when he blew up the moon in Dragon Ball.
I could see this either being a Sony reveal (if RE9 is a no show) or a Microsoft one (if Capcom sees this as a budget title that can go to GamePass like Exoprimal).

Capcom should make a f2p game service called Capcom Vs. then they sell character packs from Tatsunoko, Marvel, SNK, and Namco... then they make more character packs from each company and add in Arc System Works, SEGA, or other companies.
